K050. The believers of Jesus Christ have been marked by God

Many of us know that the believers of Satan will be marked by the beast. We may not be able to come to the consensus on what is the mark of the beast, but we can come to a clear conclusion on what is the mark of God on those who are from Jesus Christ:

Rev 12:17 KJV  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 14:12 KJV  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 22:13-14 KJV  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  (14)  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Joh 13:34-35 KJV  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  (35)  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
1Jn 2:3-4 KJV  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  (4)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 3:24 KJV  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1Jn 5:2-4 KJV  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  (3)  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  (4)  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
2Jn 1:6-9 KJV  And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.  (7)  For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. .. (9)  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

All the Bible verses above are strong proofs of a believer in Jesus Christ. What was most mentioned in all these Bible verses? Was it how much we think about the goodness of God, how much we know about God's salvation for us, or how much we know about the finished work of Jesus Christ? Of course, I do not deny that all the good things and positive things about Jesus Christ are important (not just for our boasting only); but when it comes to the mark of a true disciple, it is God's commandment. It is how much we walk in His commandments; not how much we can boast or know about Him. Do you agree? Many preachers today have preached negative idea that if you always think of the laws or commandments of God, you will become legalistic people like the Pharisees. I don't think that is a valid point because the Psalmist taught the law of God throughout the whole book of Psalms and King David who always meditated on the law did not behave like the Pharisees.

Many of those who disagree and deny those Bible verses above will argue that they can never be the lawless one or the antiChrist because they always preach something more gracious than God's laws or commandments. They would insist that they preach 'radical grace' or 'pure grace' which gives them the justification to reject all the laws of God and commandments of Jesus Christ. When they do that, what more can we say? They cannot preach the same doctrine like ours.

Many of them may argue that they are not the antiChrists because they have never denied Jesus Christ who came in the flesh (2Jn 1:7). However, if we really go deeper in debating with them or understanding them, we will know that they deny The Word or the triune Word who came in the flesh with the life (manna), commandments (tablets), and authority (rod) of God.
Joh 1:1-14 KJV  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  (2)  The same was in the beginning with God.  (3)  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  (4)  In him was life; and the life was the light of men .. (11)  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  (12)  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  (13)  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  (14)  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 20:12 KJV  And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Exo 25:18-22 KJV  And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.  (19)  And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.  (20)  And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.  (21)  And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.  (22)  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

Many of them preached that the ark is a negative thing which was used to 'lock' the curses or the commandments of God so that they could not 'jump' out and judge them, much like what we saw in the movie, The Raiders of the Lost Ark. Well, it sounds dramatically good to most people, especially to those who trembles at God's commandments (for unknown reasons), but it would never sound good from the interpretation of the Bible. How can we deliberately interpret the ark as something that would kill the people when God clearly said that He wanted to commune with the people with the sacred things that He had given to them?
