K022. Jesus told us not to judge as though we are God who knows everything

Mat 7:1-2 KJV  Judge not, that ye be not judged.  (2)  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Does it mean that we don't judge at all. No, we don't judge as though we are God or Christ, but we can certainly judge righteous judgement if we know His words.
Luk 12:56-57 KJV  Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?  (57)  Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
Joh 7:24 KJV  Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
1Co 6:2-5 KJV  Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?  (3)  Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?  (4)  If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.  (5)  I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
1Co 11:31-32 KJV  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.  (32)  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Does the Bible contradict when Jesus told us not to judge, but Paul said that we can judge angels? No, Paul knew what Jesus meant when he said that we can judge angels and ourselves. What Jesus meant was: we should not judge like someone who thinks that he knows everything and judge like God. Only God has the full knowledge and He is able to go beyond the surface and judge if a person's heart is genuine or hypocritical. Hence, many of us who try to judge like God or judge as though we know the hearts of the people will be shocked to find that we have judged wrongly because we may see the people we don't expect to see in heaven, and we may not see the people we expect to see too.
Hence, it is ok for God to judge us when the word 'judge' could mean both positive things and negative things:
Psa 35:23-24 KJV  Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.  (24)  Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

We want God to have the final say for both positive and negative judgements or both rewards and punishments. When we say this, we recognize God's sovereignty and justice and we submit to Him.
However, many preachers today who think that they can judge like God have tried to reject all the words and judgement of Jesus Christ. They act like God and give vain promise that God can never judge them, including everyone in their churches. I will ask them, If Jesus did not say this or give such a judgement to everyone who called Him, who are you to judge?  Yes, I do not deny that, under your so called anointed leadership, you may get 99% of your church people to heaven. But it is unlikely to be 100%. If there is still 1% who need to hear the words or judgement of Christ, we don't just ignore the 1% and deceive everyone that there is no more warning or judgement for everyone.
Luk 15:4 KJV  What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Besides, in our age when false doctrine has become so rampant, we should not be shocked to know that not just 1%; but 99% of some churches who call themselves Christians, may not be genuine in the eyes of the Lord or the judgement of the Lord:
Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. ..  (20)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
They look like the wheat or the sheep; but inwardly they are the tares or the wolves. Only God will judge and can judge it correctly. If we are not God, we can never judge who is really saved and who is not, based on what we know from outward appearance or confession. Hence, who are we to judge like God, give false promises to everyone, and say that no one can judge us?
