To preach a smiling God or an angry God

Can a smiling God be angry at times ?
The radical grace preachers would say, "No, God can only smile at you; He cannot be angry with you. That's why we would always preach a gracious God who can only smile at us. He cannot be angry with us even if we sin against Him. Those who preach an angry God do not know the pure grace. God wants us to present Him as a good God who will never condemn the people. But the false preachers will do otherwise.. Look at me now, (smiling and showing out the teeth), Haha, I am not a false preacher. Do you know that Jesus is always smiling like me. He is compassionate. He is like the steel in velvet .. always strong but yet he is not harsh. always soft and gentle but yet he is not weak or timid .."
Of course, we can preach a smiling God, but if He can only smile at us all the times, something is wrong with His smiles. Do you know that a person who smiles for too long will have muscle cramps ? Even though he may force his smiles with his teeth showing wherever he goes, his smiles does not mean anything to us. It could be worst if his smiles would only give people the impression that he is a 'smiling tiger'. In real life, no one can smile all the time. We should never condemn people who cannot smile or would not smile at us at times. Similarly, it is ridiculous to preach only
  • a smiling God who cannot be angry with all of us,
  • a smiling judge who cannot be angry with all the criminals and their crimes
  • a smiling master who cannot be angry with all his unfaithful servants,
  • a smiling boss who cannot be angry with all his lazy employees,
  • a smiling father who cannot be angry with all his unfilial sons,
  • a smiling teacher who cannot be angry with all his students,
Please read your Bible again.
  • Joh 3:36 KJV  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Did your Bible tell you that God is smiling to everyone? No. If we distort the Bible and tell everyone that God can only smile to everyone, we are not preaching the true and living God who can judge us; we are preaching an idol or a smiling puppet according to the desires and definition of the ignorant sinners and unbelievers. Yes, we can please more people with a 'God who has no more wrath', but we could have become the false preachers. So, please think twice if you would preach against those who preach God's judgement, law, discipline, and correction. You may not just preach against God, you may have preached against everyone who teach and give correction to our children too. You may have preached against our children's teachers, bosses, seniors, mentors, and all the respective authorities who can judge and correct our corrupted society too. Please imagine this. If my father would keep smiling at me at home whenever I do right or I do wrong, whenever he is happy or he is sad, whenever he is pleased or he is angry, whenever he rewards us or he corrects us.. I tell you, I would feel terribly scare because I do not know what he is thinking. Is he normal or has he gone weird ? Of course, I would never think he is abnormal if he would just show his natural self. Similarly, our heavenly Father should just show His godly self to us too. When come to think of it, I will ask the radical grace preachers, Who told you that God cannot be angry ? Did the Bible tell us that it is 'abnormal' for Him to be angry ? I don't think so. Similarly, it would be scary if all our children today would tell us, "Daddy, you cannot be angry with us, ok. If you are angry with us, you are abnormal. You are no more our daddy. A daddy is not supposed to be angry. He must always smile at us .. Haha.."
  • Rom 9:20-23 KJV  Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?  (21)  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?  (22)  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:  ..
  • Rom 9:22 ISV  Now if God wants to demonstrate his wrath and reveal his power, can't he be extremely patient with the objects of his wrath that are made for destruction? (Of course, God can demonstrate His wrath, so can he be extremely gracious to the sinners who have truly repented too. But it would be incorrect if we say the He cannot be angry to any sinners or believers no matter how rebellious or disobedient they are. The following Bible verses should be very clear to us:
  • Eph 5:5-9 KJV  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  (6)  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  (7)  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.  (8)  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:  (9)  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
  • Col 3:4-7 KJV  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.  (5)  Mortify (put to death) therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:  (6)  For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:  (7)  In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

God will smile at us if we do His words
I will tell them, Of course, God can smile or become angry with us. If we want God to smile, we don't preach (or lie) deliberately to create a false impression or vain image of a smiling God in the mind of the people. We just tell the people what pleases God. If God is pleased with what we do, He would smile at us. However, if we deceive the people that there are other ways to see God smiling at them without doing any words of the Lord and that they can just do nothing, they will blame you forever when they are in hell and punishment:
  • Mat 25:31-46 KJV  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  (32)  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  (33)  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  (34)  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  (35)  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  (36)  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  (37)  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  (38)  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  (39)  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  (40)  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  (41)  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  (42)  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  (43)  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  (44)  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  (45)  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  (46)  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
If the people of the world know how to do good and teach their young to do good, and it will bring happiness to themselves, I don't think we need to explain the reason why doing the words of the Lord (eg. giving a cup of water to the 'thirsty') will not only bring happiness to ourselves but it will also bring the smiles of God too.

We don't just preach Jesus or ask the people to know Him as a 'smiling' Jesus
They will say, "You have misunderstood us again. We have never told people to do nothing. Instead we said, Jesus or Grace will teach us to do good automatically. Hence, we do not need to tell people to do, do, do. If the people are focused on Jesus, they will always do good. That's why we would never need to tell the people to do good, to repent, or to keep God's commandments. The more we do it, the more we would be under the law and self-efforts. Hence, we will just need to preach grace, know the Lord, focus on the Lord, make Him the centre of our life, and grace will lead us to repentance, to do good, to do God's commandments, and to do many more things automatically. What's wrong if we preach this ?"
I will ask them, Are you sure these are the words of Jesus ? or is it your own words ? Please let me know any Bible verse which tells us to 'preach Jesus' or 'know Jesus' only ? I would think that it could be your own interpretation when you think that the Bible has told you to preach about Jesus and let Him teach all your believers. However, my Bible told me that Jesus commanded us clearly to teach and preach what He has commanded us. In another words, He did not just tell us to preach about Him, but more about what He has said or commanded us to do:
  • Mat 28:19-20 KJV  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  (20)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
  • Luk 24:45-48 KJV  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,  (46)  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:  (47)  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  (48)  And ye are witnesses of these things.
  • Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets, ..  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
  • Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  (48)  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood (false doctrine) arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)
  • Joh 14:23-25 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  (24)  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.  (25)  These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
Obviously, you have denied the Lord if you do not keep His words or teach His words. You may argue that you have always preached His name and doing many wonderful works, but in His eyes, you have denied Him and His words. You could have deliberately removed all the Bible verses which speak clearly to you too:
  • Heb 8:10-12 KJV  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:  (11)  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.  (12)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Please read the Bible verses above again. Please don't misinterpret it again and tell us that you do not need to teach anyone to do God's words and commandments. Didn't the Bible verses above say clearly that you do not need to teach the believers to 'know the Lord', because if the Spirit of the Lord is in them, they will know the Lord, from the least to the greatest. Hence, we do not have to keep preaching on how to 'know the Lord', 'focus on the Lord', 'confess the Lord', or 'think of the Lord' because every true believer will think of the Lord without you telling them to know Him, from the young to the old believers. However, both the young and the old would still need to be reminded of the words of the Lord, to do the words of God. Some of the mature believers can still be deceived by the false teachers to forsake doing or keeping God's words. That's why we would still need to teach the Bible and the fundamental principles of doctrine of Christ in Heb 6:1-2.

Please don't falsely accuse everyone with the wrong preaching of grace
I am not bothered if preachers would always want to preach a smiling God or a gracious God. But I 'jumped from my seat' when I heard they say, "Those who preach an angry God do not know the pure grace" ! What ? What has the preaching of 'pure grace' got to do with the preaching of a smiling God or an angry God' ? So, does it mean that we are preaching 'adulterated grace' if we preach any Bible verse about repentance, warnings, laws, judgement, condemnation, false preachers, discernment against false doctrines, sound doctrine, prophecies, hell, and commandments ? Does it mean that those who preach on the above are preaching the law and condemnation, and have fallen from grace ? If people would say 'Amen' to that, they could be 'sleeping'. They did not know that by saying 'Amen' to it they could have indirectly said 'Amen' that the Lord and Paul had fallen from grace too. They have indirectly said that the Lord and Paul were not gracious in their words when they preached repentance, judgement, and condemnation of sins :
  • Luk 13:2-9 KJV  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  (3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish ..
  • Joh 3:3 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
  • Joh 3:16-20 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  (19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  (20)  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
  • Act 17:30-33 KJV  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  (31)  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.  (32)  And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.  (33)  So Paul departed from among them.

Who are we to preach that God can never be angry ?
They will argue, "I challenge you to find any Bible verse which said that Jesus was angry. You can only find one Bible verse and it said that Jesus was angry,
Mar 3:5 KJV  And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Do you know why Jesus was angry ? He was only angry with the Pharisees. The Pharisees were hypocrites and law preachers. But Jesus would never be angry with the sinners or the murderers. Today we have no more Pharisees. So, why do we still preach an angry Jesus .."
I will tell them, Yes, today there are no more Pharisees, but it does not mean that the Lord cannot be angry anymore. Please answer this honestly, Are there still sinners in the world ? Are they still under the wrath of God if they are not in Christ ? Are there false prophets today ? If there are still false prophets, Jesus would still judge them with His words. Do you think that Jesus would judge them with a smile when He gave the following words?
  • Luk 17:1-2 KJV  Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!  (2)  It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
  • Mat 7:15-23 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. .. (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I don't think Jesus can say that with a smile on His face or without any emotion when He said, "Depart from me, ye that work iniquity (lawlessness)".
They will say, "Ok, yes, I agree that Jesus could be angry with the false prophets who come in wolves' skins. But we have no more false prophets in our churches or in Christianity. False prophets are all outside our churches. There are other religious hypocrites from other religions. Some of them may be professing Christians, false believers, or 'mixture' of believers who may still believe in the laws and grace. The Lord would be angry with them. But the Lord loves all of us because we believe in pure grace and we are under grace. The Lord can never be angry with us.."
I will tell them, You are contradicting yourselves. Can you be more certain why the Lord is angry with the people ? Is it because:
  1. they are hypocrites ?
  2. they believe in the laws ?
  3. they believe in other religions ?
  4. they believe in other gods ?
If you think that God would be angry just because they believe in the laws or under the laws, can you explain if God was angry with Moses, David, Samuel, John the Baptist, Joseph, and Mary who were under the law too ? If you are not sure, please keep quiet. But if you are a false prophet, you has no right to preach or say that the Lord can never be angry with you. You would certainly face the full wrath if you twist His words:
  • Rom 2:2-6 KJV  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.  (3)  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?  (4)  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?  (5)  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;  (6)  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
  • Rom 9:18-23 KJV  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.  (19)  Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?  (20)  Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?  (21)  Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?  (22)  What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:  (23)  And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
  • Eph 5:5-8 KJV  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  (6)  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  (7)  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.  (8)  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Hence, preaching that there is no more law and obedience for you, and just cast out the 'bondwoman' so that you and your believers will never see the wrath of God is not going to the root problem. The root problem is that you do not believe in God's eternal judgement and you think that you can be the One who can pronounce no more judgement upon yourselves and others. You think that you are the God who can smile at everyone. Hence, I would think that for you to go the root problem is to repent. If you have truly repented, you would not be afraid to see the wrath of God. All the wrath of God would just melt into mercy and grace. However, the 'catalyst' must be there, which is true repentance.

Did the Lord or Paul preach a smiling God, an angry God, or the full gospel ?
Can we conclude that the Lord or Paul had fallen from grace because they did not preach grace or a smiling God but a condemning God who will judge and sent the sinners or the unrepentant to hell too ? No. Can we preach the gospel without talking about the condemnation of God by hiding or blanking off all those words which condemn the sinners or those who do not believe in repentance, eg.
The 'half brain' genius
Recently I have watched a TV series about all the mysterious crimes and phenomenon. Yesterday it was the last episode which talked about the man who turned into a criminal with his extra sensory perception. He could move things and hurt people extraordinarily with his brain power ! What is more extraordinary was when his scientist father disclosed that he had only half of his brain and had to live with a lot of palsy-like body shaking after half of his brain was damaged and removed due to a childhood accident. As a result, he could not talk, walk, or balance himself properly for the rest of his life. He would need to be strapped in braces and walk around with clutches. Knowing the miseries that his son would suffer, the father embarked him on a series of intensive mental training to overcome his physical handicap since childhood. However, to both delight, this physically 'effortless' or mental training turned out to be more than what they can 'swallow'. The son found that he could then move objects and play piano effortlessly and beautifully although he still could not walk or talk properly. This gave him the confidence and motivation to train himself even more vigorously and radically. And finally he did many bizarre or questionable experiments which ultimately changed his character and personality. However, he realised that he began to lose control of himself and he could not help it. He became so puffed up with his special talent that he became easily irritated by others who did not please him or give him the extra grace or care ..
The 'half brain' grace
I can talk about the rest of the story; but it is more important to think about the moral of the story now. Of course, with just half of our brain, we can still do wonders if we know how to train ourselves radically. However, sometimes we would concentrate so much on half of our brain that we refuse to work with our the other brain, resulting in our brain being lopsided. Can this happen in our mind or in our preaching of God's words too ? You bet. Many radical preachers have worked with 'only half of their brain' when they deliberately blanked off half of their Bible which contains repentance, warnings, laws, judgement, condemnation, false preachers, discernment against false doctrines, sound doctrine, prophecies, hell, and commandments. They think that they can find extra grace, more grace, or radical grace if they would just concentrate on all the 'positive' Bible verses which do not have repentance, laws, commandments, or judgements. Unknown to many of them, they could have preached many bizarre and questionable doctrines which would change their own spiritual character, as well other's, character, personality, judgement, and discernment. It may be too late when they realised that they began to lose control of what they believe in and people would just use whatever they said against them, and they cannot clear all the confusion or misunderstanding. They will become easily irritated and condemned by others who did not understand, agree with them, or confess radical grace like them ..
Please do not misunderstand me. Grace is a gift of God. It is from Jesus (Joh 1:17). It is wonderful. But if it is preached like God Himself or like an idol, it becomes poison which puffs up. Radical grace without repentance (or preaching of grace without repentance) is like the story above. Yes, it could be a 'half brain' wonder, even if it is preached without the other important fundamental truth. Today many preachers have deliberately removed the preaching of repentance and the fruits of repentance thinking that it was redundant with the preaching of grace. However, unknown to many of them, they could have rejected the Lord, the word of the Lord, or the way of the Lord, by preaching their own ways. They may do wonders and argue vehemently that their 'lawless' or 'effortless' doctrines in the name of the Lord should justify them forever but the Lord would harshly deny them and say, ".. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity and lawlessness".
  • Mat 7:12-23 KJV  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.  (13)  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  (14)  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  (15)  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  (17)  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  (18)  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  (19)  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  (20)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Many preachers and believers will be lost and become false preachers because they think that the 'lawless' false teaching is attractive. They will argue that this can never happen to them or that radical grace without any repentance can never be rejected by God. However, the Lord will tell them another parable to show them that it can happen to them even though they may have received grace:
  • Mat 18:23-34 KJV  Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.  ..  ..  (32)  Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:  (33)  Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?  (34)  And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
a. justification by faith or by grace is only the beginning of a believer's forgiven life so that he can do more with the words and commandments of God in his life. The grace for cancellation of debts or forgiveness of debts is not given so that we can have more future debts or more future lawlessness. It is certainly not an excuse or license to have more future sins with no more repentance (or to sin wilfully).
  • Luk 13:2-10 KJV  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  (3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (4)  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  (5)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (6)  He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.  (7)  Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?  (8)  And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:  (9)  And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.  (10)  And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
b. Grace is not forever - it is given for the purpose of repentance, turning back to God's commandments, keeping God's laws, and doing His words. Grace is not given for the purpose of enjoying or living in lawlessness forever. Grace is not there forever if we are forever lawless in our hearts or minds. However, if we repent, keep the commandments of God, and live with the laws of God in our hearts and minds, God will remember all our lawlessness no more and He will be our God forever:
  • Heb 10:16-17 LITV  "This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My Laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds;"  (17)  also He adds, "I will not at all still remember their sins" and their lawlessnesses. ..
  • Heb 8:10 LITV  Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My Laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
  • Luk 19:8-10 LITV  But standing, Zaccheus said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor. And if in anything I accused anyone falsely, I restore it fourfold.  (9)  And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, for he also is a son of Abraham.  (10)  For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the one being lost.
Hence, the cancellation of debt or forgiveness of debt is not given so that a believer can have more future debt or lawlessness forever. It is certainly not an excuse or license to have more future sin or lawlessness without any repentance. However, many preachers have deceived the believers into thinking that they can literally expect forgiveness of all their future sins, and even supernatural cancellation of all their future financial debts, if they will just radically believe or do and teach their 'holy communion's blood cleansing' ritual, 'pure grace' confession, 'supernatural' favour, 'mind changing' philosophy, or 'false repentance' to disregard and to 'repent' from all the laws and commandments of God. I did write about some preachers who have managed to quote the Bible out of context and capitalise on this 'supernatural' deception or 'cancellation of debts' to transfer effortless wealth to themselves. (see "Supernatural cancellation of debts - Is it really a supernatural transfer of wealth, a religious gimmick, or just a vain religious boasting?" in my previous post here.)

God will not need to change Himself in the Old Testament or New Testament
Radical grace preachers would always say, "Under the law, God was an angry God. He would give us many commandments and tell us to do this and that.. But under grace, He loves us too much to punish us. He gave us no laws. He told us to do nothing. He told us to just rest and think ..."
I will tell them, Did Jesus give us no laws? No, this is a lie. Did God suddenly changed to a smiling God because of the New covenant ? No, God is the same whether He is a God in the Old or New covenant. He does not change. If He was a just God who could smile at king David and be angry with the rebellious king Saul in the Old Testament, He can still be a just God who will smile at the humble believers and be angry with arrogant, boastful, and false believers, in the New Testament too. Like His words and commandments, God will not change; even though His covenant may change. Now, please think of one commandment from God: "Do not kill". Isn't it a God's commandment. Do you think we can change it or remove it just because we are now under grace or under the New Covenant ? Of course, not. If we cannot change or remove it under the New Covenant, what's wrong if we will still preach it or teach it under grace or under the New Covenant ?
  • Mat 5:16-22 KJV  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  (17)  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.  (21)  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:  (22)  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (Hence, Jesus did not say that we should be as righteous as the Pharisees, but He said we should be more righteous than the Pharisees who were hypocrites. In another words, 1. All the Jews must still repent even though they thought that they were as righteous as the Pharisees, 2. All of us, who are now in Christ should never follow the deceivableness of unrighteousness (2Th 2:10) that is in the Pharisees or hypocrites too.)

God did not change His covenant so that we do not need to keep His commandments
Radical grace preachers would say, "Haha, did you read it correctly in Mat 5:16-22 above. Although Jesus said that it would be great for those who teach the laws and commandments, He did not really mean it. He said through Paul's letters later that It would be the curse of the law to teach many laws. How do we know that Jesus would not want us to teach any law? Look at the subsequent words He said, "except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.. that whosoever shall kill or whosoever is angry shall be in danger of judgement .." this is a clear indication that no one can keep the law and He did not want us to teach the laws or keep the laws .."
I will tell them,Yes, Jesus did said the truth that except our righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the Pharisees or except we are more righteous than them, we can never enter the kingdom of God. Yes, He did said that no one has kept the laws or commandments perfectly; but He did not say that since no one can keep the laws perfectly, therefore no one need to keep any law. He did not say that since everyone has been angry before, therefore everyone can give up and do whatever they like without keeping the laws. No, it would be very negative with this kind of teaching. Of course, no, His intention of telling us that we cannot keep the laws perfectly is to show us that we can still sin and that no one is too righteous to repent. If our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees in order to enter the kingdom of God, it means that the righteousness of the Pharisees is not enough, therefore, we and everyone, including all the Scribes and Pharisees must repent too
I will ask them, Do you still think that Jesus preached Mat 5:16-22 with the intention to tell the sinners not to keep any laws ? If you still think so, you are still lawless in your own thinking and you do not have the mind of Christ or the law of the Spirit of God to keep His laws in Romans 8:1-2, Heb 8:10,10:16, Mat 19:17, Joh 15:8-15, ..  How can you be so blinded to say that Jesus did not mean it when He said it so clearly that He did not come to destroy the law, or prophets, but to fulfil it and to teach it in Mat 5:17-19, Mat 19:17, and in many other Bible verses too ?
  • Joh 14:21-31 KJV  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. .. (23)  ..  If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  (24)  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.  (25)  These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  .. (29)  And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.  (30)  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.  (31)  But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
The Bible verses above tells us clearly that we must not only keep the Lord's commandments only; but the commandments of the Father too. It's because the commandments of the Lord is from God. They are the words of the Father which sent Jesus Joh 14:24. This would dispel the lies which were preached by the radical grace preachers who went around and preached that they would just keep the commandments of Jesus; not God's commandments or the ten commandments.

The prince of this world will come again to tempt the churches
The prince of this world could have disguised himself as a smiling god or a smiling snake when he promised Eve that she would not die and could be like god. Of course, if we want to preach a true and living God, we must know His words and commandments. Otherwise, we could be deceived easily and become as ignorant as Eve.
  • Gen 2:15-18 KJV  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.  (16)  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  (17)  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.  (18)  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
  • Gen 3:1-6 KJV  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? .. (4)  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  (5)  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.  (6)  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
When I read the above, I would think that Adam had probably not done enough when he taught Eve to obey God's commandment. He had not said it as it is. He could have said that it is just an advice, a requirement, or a casual rule, which gave Eve the impression or option that she could just break it with no condemnation. Secondly, Adam did not reject the offer by his wife when he should have rebuked her and rejected the fruit. We should have learnt from their lesson when Jesus reminded us again about the prince of the world. However, how many radical grace preachers would understand and tell the people to keep God's commandments today ? If you read the Lord's commandments again, do you realise that He is teaching us to reject the temptation of the prince of the world who will come to churches again ?
Yes, Jesus has shown us that He is grace, but He is also judgement too. If we just want to preach what we like, what the sinners like, or just go with the flow, or just preach a smiling God; we are not preaching the true and living God. If God is afraid that we would show Him as an angry God or a God who can judge, He is not the true and living God too; we are the gods instead. Please think, If I have always come late but my boss is afraid to confront me or become angry with me, do you know who is the real boss ultimately ? I become real the boss. He is afraid of confronting me probably because he presumably knows that my father owns the company and he is afraid of him. Hence, similarly, if we preach a God who is afraid to show His anger to us, something is wrong with Him. He is not worthy to be a God who can judge the whole universe. He is a fake god or probably the prince of the world.

Was Jesus a friend of the sinners because He ate with them or He preached repentance ?
They will argue, "Jesus was a friend of all the sinners. But today many of us condemn the sinners. Jesus was never harsh with the sinners who sinned. Jesus loved them all. However, Jesus would only condemn the scribes and Pharisees. Why did Jesus only called the Pharisees snakes and vipers? It's because Jesus does not hate sinners or sins; He hates those who are under the law, who wag their fingers in condemnation of others, and who are hypocrites... But we, the grace preachers are like Jesus who hated and preached against the law, and we are the friends of sinners too. But many churches and repentance preachers who condemn others in sins today have accused us for being a friend of the sinners like Jesus. We have been persecuted by the churches.. "
I will tell them, If you call this persecution just because others have disagreed with you, you are crying 'wolves'. However, if you are really a friend of the sinners because you have stopped preaching repentance, you are the blind leading the blind. Yes, Jesus was a friend of the sinners because He was a true repentance preacher - He preached repentance whenever He went and the sinners would repent. But are you a friend of the sinners because you are a repentance preacher too ? No, you could be a friend of the sinners who hate repentance because you mocked at repentance, distorted repentance, or preached anti-repentance or something else to replace repentance.

Was Jesus harsh only with the Pharisees because they were under the law or were hypocrites?
Secondly, when Jesus was harsh with the Pharisees and ate with the sinners, it does not mean that He hated the Pharisees and loved only the sinners and publicans. No, He loves all the sinners including the Pharisees who were the sinners too. However, why was He especially harsh with the Pharisees ? Of course, it was not because they were under the law or were hypocrites. Do you know that when you point the fingers and accuse the Pharisees as hypocrites, you are accusing and are hypocritical too ? We are all hypocritical in one way or another because of our sins and lawlessness. No one can boast and accuse others without having a good look at our own sins first. We should not accuse all those who are under the law as hypocrites even though we are under grace. It's because Jesus did not accuse every Jew who were under the law as hypocrites. He did not accuse Moses as hypocrite, He did not accuse Elijah as hypocrite, He did not accuse his father or mother as hypocrite too. But why would He accuse only the Pharisees as hypocrites ? Was it because they were under the law ? No, it's because they were unrepentant and yet they would want the people to think that they had repented. The Lord and John the Baptist knew that the Pharisees would corrupt the gospel without true repentance if they were accepted. They would just teach repentance without the fruits of repentance like the way they teach God's commandments in Mark 7:11:
  • Mat 3:5-11 KJV  Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,  (6)  And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.  (7)  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  (8)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:  (9)  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  (10)  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  (11)  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
  • Mar 7:11-13 KJV  But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.  (12)  And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;  (13)  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Of course, Jesus would be harsh with the false preachers. However, if we are the sinners and we are as self-righteous (evasive, corrupted, or unrepentant) as the false prophets or the Pharisees, the Lord would be harsh to us too:
  • Mat 7:15-23 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
  • Rev 2:5-23 KJV  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent... (16) Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.  (17)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; ...(21) And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.  (22)  Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.  (23)  And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Rev 3:19-20 KJV  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  (20)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
  • Mat 11:19-24 KJV  The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.  (20)  Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:  (21)  Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  (22)  But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.  (23)  And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.  (24)  But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
  • Luk 13:2-5 KJV  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  (3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (4)  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  (5)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Please read the Bible verses above again. Was Jesus harsh only to the scribes and Pharisees ? No, he was harsh to all the sinners including the Pharisees, the Jewish believers, the false prophets, and any self-righteous believers today who would corrupt or reject his message of repentance.

Would people sin some more if we tell them to sin no more or repent ?
They will argue, "No, there are too many condemnation preaching or repentance preaching which point people to sin. Imagine, what will people do if they would always hear the message of condemnation, sin, repentance, or sinning no more ? They will sin all the more ! Have you study men's psychologies or child psychologies? It is known that the more we teach our children not to sin, not to steal, not to kill, or not to rebel, they would all the more sin, steal, kill, and rebel. People will give their lives to sin when they feel rejected and dejected. Hence, the solution to men's sin is not to preach repentance, point people to sin, and command them to repent or to sin no more, but rather to preach radical grace. The more grace you give to them, the more they will not sin.. This is a proven truth.. Hence, we will rather preach a smiling God than preach an angry God.."
I will tell them, This is a proven lie. Have you read how Adam and Eve sinned ? Are you saying that Adam and Eve gave their lives to sin because they feel rejected and dejected by God too ? Can you condemn God's command for making them sin? No, obviously they did not sin because they feel rejected or dejected; instead, they sinned even though they felt the love and the favours of God because God had created many things for them.
  • Gen 2:16-18 KJV  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  (17)  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.  (18)  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
They will argue, "Show us which Bible verses tell us clearly that they felt love instead.." I will tell them, Of course, I don't have the clear Bible verses which state how much they felt the love or the favours of God, but neither can you say that they sinned purely because they felt rejected and dejected because of God's command. It is all your own psychology or thinking when you lied that men would sin more if they are asked to obey God's commands or asked to sin no more. Hence, your argument or justification for not preaching repentance or commandments is a lie which will only serve to show others how much you hates repentance and God's commandments. You have no repentance and you would just want people to believe in vain repentance like you. Yes, you may have prospered and preached very well when you preached a smiling God who would just accept any sinners no matter how they would sin or disobey Him, but have you become a spokemen for the 'smiling serpent' instead? Do you know that the serpent could be smiling too when he talked to Adam and Eve? Today he could be smiling when he talks to us and tell us not to obey any God's commandments too. Hence, let it be a lesson to us: Not everyone who smiles at us is a good 'God' even though he may claim that he is smiling at us and he looks pleasant to us !
  • Gen 3:1-6 KJV  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?  (2)  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:  (3)  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

More sinners today would only believe in a God who can promise them radical grace
Today radical grace preachers are raising more unrepentant sinners than we can imagine. How do we know that ? Please think, If you were the boss and one of your employee came to you and said, "Boss, I know that I have made mistakes but I cannot change. I will change only if you are good to me. Even if you are good to me, you should not change me or correct me. If you are this type of boss, I will consider change later; otherwise you are not a good boss ..", will you still employ him? No, you will ask him to get lost. It is not because you are not gracious to him but because you know that this type of employee is rotten employee. However, do you know that sinners who heard from the wrong preachers today are more ridiculous and demanding than rotten employees ? They think that they are bigger than their boss or God. They would not be ashamed to ask for a raise, promotion, or any forgiveness of their wrong doing under all their whims and fancies.
They will tell God and His preachers, "God, I know that I have sinned but I cannot repent. I will repent only if you are good to me. Even if you are good to me, you should not tell me to repent. If you are the God of radical grace, I will consider repentance later, otherwise you are not the true and loving God .."
Traditionally it was unthinkable for a criminal or slothful employee to argue with the judge or the boss, but time has changed when we are seeing more and more people who are in the wrong who argue with the judge or their bosses. More so, when we see more and more unrepentant sinners and preachers arguing with God all in the name of radical grace too:
  • They may claim that they will only believe in God if He can promise them radical grace under their own condition or conscience, ie. they must receive grace first and then they will consider repentance. They are like the prodigal son who argued with his father that he must receive his inheritance first. Yes, he did end up in repentance later. But that is not the way we should argue with God for His favours, grace, and inheritance, thinking that we will repent later like the prodigal son. No, I can say that if you argue with the Father like the prodigal, you will not repent later. The prodigal son would repent because he did not know repentance and use repentance to bargain with his father. Whilst you know repentance and yet you would not repent. You have insulted the grace of God: Heb 6:4-6 LITV  For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and becoming sharers of the Holy Spirit,  (5)  and tasting the good Word of God, and the works of power of a coming age,  (6)  and having fallen away, it is impossible for them again to renew to repentance, crucifying again for themselves the Son of God, and putting Him to open shame.
Heb 10:26-29 KJV  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  (27)  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  (28)  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  (29)  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

  • However, unknown to many of them, they have rejected the true and living God who would only promise grace which must come through repentance and preaching of repentance in Christ (ie. it must be repentance first; otherwise no one can come before Him) and believed in 'another God' who would just promise any type of radical grace under their own conditions: Gen 3:4 KJV And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die ... I suspect that the serpent could be fantastic grace preacher who promised everyone that they could never die because God was too gracious for them to obey any commandment. Yes, you may think that the serpent did not misrepresent God when He insisted that God was too gracious to condemn anyone and promised Adam and Eve that they could never die; but he had lied. Adam and Eve discovered it only after they had believed in that lie. Similarly, many people today have heard the same message; but they will discover that it is only a lie very much later. I hope that we could wake up before it is too late, before we will die (a second death) like Adam and Eve again.
  • They may used many radical grace arguments to deceive themselves and others that they have repented and have better grace. However, whether they've argued that grace will lead them to repentance or repentance will lead them to grace, God knows that they have no repentance or no desire to repent. They may always quote Joh 8:10-11 out of its context and argue vehemently that it was grace first which led the adulterous woman to repent. But I will tell them, While it could be true for her, it can never be the true for all the sinner who come before God. It can never be the true repentance preached by Jesus too. Why ? Imagine, If all the sinners would believe and repent only if God will promise them forgiveness first, what will happen ? It would reveal to God and us that all the sinners have no repentance and no desire to repent. (See repentance preached by the Lord in Luk 18:10-14 also. The servant in Mat 18:23-34 had received grace first, but did he truly repent later ? I doubt so.)

-------------------------------  to continue -----------------------------
They would argue, "God was always portrait as an angry God in the Old Testament. But God has sworn in Psalm 54 that He would not be angry any more. Under that covenant, he would always smile."
I will tell them, Yes, God would not be angry because He has a covenant with the Jews, but provided they remained under His covenant. Similarly, God has a new covenant with us. However, we must be in His covenant and remain in His covenant too. To be in His covenant, we must repent and believe the Gospel and the teaching of Jesus Christ, not the gospel preached by men who only confess His name or who are professing believers. (Now if the professing believers are not save and they could be in our churches, it means that we cannot guarantee everyone in our churches to be saved. This is common sense)

-------------------------------  to continue -----------------------------
They will argue, "Do you know why Moses could not enter the promise land? It is because he portrait Him as an angry God. He struck the rock angrily when God is gracious and would only want him to speak to the rock.."
If God is so concerned about his gracious image, Jesus would no longer be His begotten Son because He did not speak gracious words or project a gracious God image when He condemn the Pharisees as vipers and hypocrites Mat, spoke harshly against those who confess His name in Mat 7:15-24, expose the Pharisees as people without fruits of repentance Mat 3, condemn those who criticise the Galileans that they must repent or else they will perish too, preach about king's wrath against the servant who boss around with the grace he received from the king Mat 18, preach about the judgement of the foolish virgins, slothful servant, and the goats in Mat 25, His rebuke of the seven churches in Revelation, overturn the tables of the moneychangers in the temple.. If you said that Jesus have never been angry when he rebuke the Pharisees and overturn the table of the moneychangers and those who work with the Pharisees just because we don't see any word which describe jesus as angry with them, something is wrong. It is like telling the people that the Israelites had never gone to the toilet or died in the wilderness because there is no mentioning of it.
  • Mat 3:7 KJV  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? John preached an angry God because he mentioned the wrath of God. Did God say that he had misrepresented Him as an angry God and punish him like He punished Moses?
  • Rom 1:18-19 KJV  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  (19)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. Paul had preached the wrath of God and an angry God to the sinners too. Did God punish him?
  • Rom 2:8 KJV  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
  • Eph 5:6-7 KJV  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  (7)  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
  • Rev 6:16-17 KJV  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  (17)  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
  • Rev 14:19 KJV  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
  • Rev 19:15-16 KJV  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  (16)  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Yes, Jesus is the lamb of God who is a gracious God but He would be an angry God when He comes again because He would come with the wrath of God (English dictionary define 'wrath' as intense anger. How can we give the false promise to the sinners that Jesus will never be angry with them any more because there is no more judgement in the future?

---
They will argue, "No, God has sworn that He will never be angry with us or rebuke us. If He has sworn, it means He would fulfil it .. He cannot be angry with us any more even if we sin or make Him angry; He has to fulfil His oath.

Isa 54:7-10 LITV  For a little moment I have left you, but I will gather you with great pityings.  (8)  In a flood of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but I will have pity on you with everlasting kindness, says Jehovah your Redeemer.  (9)  For this is the waters of Noah to Me; for as I swore to refrain from passing over the waters of Noah over the earth again, so I have sworn from being angry with you and rebuking you.  (10)  For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My mercy shall not depart from you; nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah who has pity on you.

I will tell them, I am not against preaching a gracious God but it is wrong to preach a gracious God to condemn those who preach a judging God. Why ? it is because

God is gracious and He can judge too. If we stop people from preaching a gracious God who can also judge, we are not preaching God. We are preaching a false God.
Paul would never preach only a God who is gracious. Have you read Paul's words above ? He would preach a God who will judge the sinners too.
