I will tell them, The sinners can never tell if there is something wrong with your message above because they have never read the Bible. Neither can some believers argue with you. When you quote some Bible verses to prove how God can prosper you, everyone would be dump-founded because you can twist and quote the Bible out of its context. You seemed to know the hearts of God when you quoted how God had prosper king Solomon and God would prosper you if you 'seek ye first the kingdom of God'. I have known most of your radical grace or oxymoron arguments on how God would prosper you, and I have given you a 'piece of my mind' against all these oxymoron arguments and lies. You can find it under the label 'prosperity'. You may think that it is 'sword' or condemnation to you because I am law-conscious. I would say, Yes, you are right to say that because God has put His laws into my hearts and my minds (Heb 8:10, Heb10:16) and, hence, I have become more law-conscious than others. However, I am not going to repeat what I have said in my previous posts about the prosperity 'lies'; I will ask the prosperity preachers or radical grace preachers if you have ever thought of taking all the money from your churches and would never feel any sin conscience ? If you have thought of it, you could be on the road to perdition.
Being accountable to God does not mean that we can take all the money
They will argue, "How can you judge us? How can you say negative things ? You are not the one who gives us your money. Mind your own business ! We are accountable to God, not to you. God can never condemn us because we preach Jesus. We put Jesus in the centre of our lives. We expound the name of Jesus beautifully. Everything which we say is beautiful and it is all about Jesus. We preach Jesus more than anyone who preach the law or the works of the law. Because we are highly favoured and we prosper, we can never be greedy. We think of Jesus and Jesus would make our thinking righteous. And when our thinking is righteous, we will always do righteous things. Otherwise, we would 'drop dead'. But the fact that we would still prosper from glory to glory and preach lively on the pulpits would show you that we are God's very anointed ones or God's very favoured ones.. "
a. God would not judge you immediately
I will tell them, I am not judging you. The fact that you can still preach, prosper, or have the grace to receive repentance, after answering my questions shows that I am not judging you. You can just laugh it off as though we are like dogs 'barking' at the moon, but the moon would still shine brightly - in another words, you know that you can never be affected by what we said. Yes, you said, I am accountable to God and I can only be judged by God later. So, you know that you don't have to be bothered by what other people said.
b. You know that God would not judge you immediately
However, that does not mean that you are God's anointed ones or God's favoured ones. You are misleading the people. You know that you are lying because you know that you are accountable to God and you can only be judge by God later. Hence, when you said, "Otherwise, we would 'drop dead'. But the fact that we would still prosper from glory to glory and stand on our pulpits would show you that we are God's anointed ones or God's favoured ones.. " is obviously a lie to mislead the people to think that you are truly the 'anointed ones' when you yourselves would not believe it.
c. You know the example of Judas Iscariot
You have read the story of how Judah Iscariot had enriched himself and no one seemed to judge him; not even Jesus. Jesus knew about his greed and his crime, but He did nothing about it. Honestly I do not know the heart of the Lord at that time. Why would He keep quiet about it until much later ? Probably it is God's way of judging the sinners or those who are not in His 'fold'. He would not judge them immediately; He would judge the sinners and the world when the time is ripe.
Joh 12:4-6 KJV Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, (5) Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? (6) This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. (7) Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. (8) For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
d. You would camouflage your motives and teach lies about your 'anointed' wealth
Hence, the boasting or teaching that you are doing fine or that you could prosper from glory to glory because you are the 'anointed ones' is a lie. You know that God will not judge you immediately and you would lie using your present riches and glory to mock at those who tell you to repent. You are the 'New Age Judas Iscariot' who would plunder the churches and the money of God with cleverly devised teaching and scheme which will brainwash the believers into giving all their money in their banks or churches to finance your personal goals (which is also your selfish desires), your preaching career (which is also your 'acting' career), a prosperity gospel (which is a fruitless gospel), or a radical revolution (which is lawless by nature). Hence, I am not surprised to find teachings which emphasize on 'using Jesus', 'tapping on God supplies', 'the power of money', 'the supernatural transfer of wealth', 'Jesus, the perfect servant for us (to prosper us)', 'the blessing of king Solomon', and many more .. All these may be phrased positively as good prosperity Bible teachings; but underneath are all worms, hidden lies, and distorted truth, that will influence the believers to think that it is right for you and all other prosperity preachers to get anything without any condemnation or sin conscience.
e. You have no more sin conscience when you lie
Yes, you can preach the 'supernatural' transfer of wealth marvellously, gloriously, and even 'graciously', but it is actually the transfer of material wealth into your own pockets, salaries, incentives, ministries, publication, or social media treasury 'bags' gloriously and graciously too. That's why you are very sensitive to the word or accusation of 'lies' and condemnation. Hence, I am not surprised that you would teach, 'because Abraham lied and He is still a righteous man to God, so are you (and so you can lie also ? )'. Of course, if a preacher would lie with God's words, it is very hard for the people to detect his lies. He would exaggerate, lie, and twist with many good words about himself to cover his motives and lawless errors, but he would have to keep fighting against the condemnation and sin conscience within himself, and convince himself that what had happen to Ananais and Sapphira can never happen to him.
Act 5:1-5 KJV But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, (2) And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. (3) But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? (4) Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. (5) And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
f. You can no longer see any condemnation
I will tell them, I am not here to argue whether Ananais was a believer or non-believer (Anyway, I would still ask you, Can the non-believers lie to God? No, they have already sinned and rebelled against God and hence God would not bother to strike them immediately. On the contrary, God would do something if they are the believers in the church or if they claim that they are the believers and they are liars. Yes, we know that Ananais and Sapphira had lied and died on the spot, but can you rule out the possibility that they could be the believers, saved but without any rewards too ? 1Co 3:13-17). If God would judge Ananais because he lied to the Spirit, God would judge those who are in the churches too. They will say, "But we have lied, so do all of you, but why are we not dead yet ? Hence, the example of Ananias is not applicable to us." I will tell them, a. You know that you have lied. b. You know that God would not judge you immediately. c. You know the example of Judas Iscariot. d. You know how to camouflage your lies and motives. e. You have no more sin conscience when you lie. And, hence, when you quote the example of Ananais and Sapphira, you think that it is not applicable to you because:
- you know that God will not judge you immediately (when you are no longer a believer in Christ), or
- you think that you can just call the name of Jesus and expect Him to give you the 'grace' to repent before He will judge you, and you think that this is 'radical grace', or
- you think that you can lie like Ananais and Sapphira and nothing will happen to you because you are under grace or you always take holy communion.
- you argue vehemently that all your believers can never sin wilfully even if they lie wilfully like you. However Paul would simply give the warnings to all by saying "if we ..". Heb 10:26-29 KJV For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: (29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (If Paul would mean this only for the non-believers or the Pharisees, he would never have said, "if we..", ".. who hath the Son of God..", or ".. who hath the blood of the covenant .."; but he would have said "if they .. who hath ..". So, the more you twist the Bible, the more we know you lied and felt condemned. (see "The death of Ananias and Sapphira is the clear evidence that there is still judgement in the church of God" in my another post.)
I will tell them, If you can never feel any condemnation because you will not lie, you are almost perfect. But if you can never feel condemned even if you continue to lie and use the blood of Jesus to justify your lies, something is wrong. Yes, we know that we are not perfect. We may have lied knowingly or unknowingly. But we are not talking about lying knowingly or sinning knowingly with the use of the blood of Jesus. I would think that, if we can still feel condemned because we lied, it is still good. The fact that we can still feel condemned shows that we can still repent; otherwise there is no more hope for us. Hence, we should think that our ability to feel condemned or to be convicted of sins when we lie is a gift from God.
Joh 16:8-11 KJV And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: (9) Of sin, because they believe not on me; (10) Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; (11) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. The Holy Spirit will reprove the world (kosmos) of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement.. Hence, the conviction of the Holy Spirit is clearly God's grace to us, to the churches, to the sinners, and to everyone in the world who is not perfect. However, if you can no longer see any conviction or condemnation when you lie, may God help you. Hence, I don't think anyone can deny that Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit can convict sins. If Jesus could convict the Pharisees by writing on the ground with His fingers and cause the Pharisees to leave one by one before Him (Joh 8:8-9), He can convict anyone in the world ('kosmos'), including the self-righteous believers, gnostic believers, agnostic believers, carnal believers, false believers, lying believers, worldly believers, or any kind of believers who think and argue that they can never be the sinners of the world and that, therefore, they can never sin or do not have any sin to be convicted by the Holy Spirit too.
The more we receive grace, the more we should be fair and gracious to our fellow preachers too
As I have said in my previous posts on 'prosperity', I am not against preachers who are rich (I myself am rich also) but I am disgusted by preachers who lie about God's words, pervert God's commandments, and create Bible controversies, to 'prosper' or multiply on it. Most of us would now agree that 'radical grace' preachers are generally richer than the 'law' preachers or 'repentance' preachers. However, I believe that it is not because they are more favoured or more anointed than other preachers as they claimed; but it is because they have created many Bible controversies, do nothing controversies, law and grace controversies, no more future sins, no more God's commandments, no more obedience (but only Christ's obedience), no more confession of sins, no more conviction of sins, no more 'do good get good' principles, no more servanthood or works, no more repentance to God to do good and to do God's commandments .. but many more radical doctrines, revolution, and oxymoron which would never teach the young to do good and to build their characters. But when they have the 'fills of their mouth' and prosper, they will just revert back to teaching of many God's laws, God's principles, and God's commandments to do good, and will then turn back against all the churches who have misunderstood them and label the churches as the 'Pharisees' or the 'false accusers'. They would condemn the churches as the 'big brothers' or religious brothers who are jealous of them because they could receive 'better grace' and prosper more than the churches. They would persuade the people that they, being the prodigal son who sinned, are more blessed than the churches who keep God's commandments. It could be a brilliant idea but it is a bad idea. Why ?
It is because the Lord has prophesied that there would be 'prodigal son' who could receive grace and forgiveness but they might not have truly repented. They would think that they have received better grace (radical grace) and hence they can never be condemned if they sin (wilfully) against others. But they will ultimately lose everything:
- Mat 18:23-34 KJV .. (31) So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. (32) Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: (33) Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? (34) And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. (This warning is very similar to the warning given in Heb 10:26-29. So, how can you say that the Lord's warning and all His hardsayings are Old Testament teachings ?)
- 2Ti 3:1-10 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. (9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. (10) But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
Jesus taught us selfless success in Him, not effortless success in the world
Today many people like to be successful. Yes, of course, there is nothing wrong to be successful. But as God's people we do not want to be just successful. We want to be successful in the will of God. We do not want to be just lawfully successful, graciously successful, effortlessly successful, or righteously successful like the Pharisees, Jews, Gentiles, hypocrites, and religious preachers. We want to be selflessly successful. To be really selflessly successful, we must learn how to be selfless like Jesus Christ. That's why Jesus said we must die to self and take up our cross. In another words, no one can be truly successful in Christ if he has not truly repented or die to self, even though he may boast that he has effortless success, favours, and prosperity:
- Luk 9:23-26 KJV And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (24) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (25) For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? (26) For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
- Mat 25:31-40 KJV When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: (33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (34) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (35) For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (36) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. (37) Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? (38) When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? (39) Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? (40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
- Luk 16:20-31 KJV .. (22) And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; ..(29) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. (31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
- Luk 12:16-21 KJV And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: (17) And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? (18) And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. (19) And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. (20) But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? (21) So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
