What is the error of the lawless ?

  1. Why must we watch against the error of the lawless ?
  2. The lawless one will surely come
  3. The lawless one will cause us to reject all God's law and fall from our steadfastness
  4. What is the error of the lawless ?
  5. Can we give false guarantee to all who receive the word ?
  6. The error of the lawless will cause nakedness instead of fruitfulness
  7. The error of the lawless will contradict God's word and commandment
  8. The error of the lawless is still a very powerful seduction to all mankind in the past, present, as well as, future
  9. Who will preach or create the error of the lawless ?
  10. The error of the lawless could be the mark of the lawless (or the 'card' of the lawless?)
  11. Is there a mark for the true believers?
  12. How would the error of the lawless block the thinking of God's laws in our minds?
  13. The error of the lawless will confuse the keeping of God's laws with the works of old self
  14. The error of the lawless will become religiously defensive

"Right believing will lead to right living. However, wrong belief will not only lead to living in error, but also to an unknown 'God'.."

1. Why must we watch against the error of the lawless ?
The error of the lawless could be a lawless deception in the last days, when both the sinners and believers will refuse to listen to the truth but rather want to be led away by some kind of error or teaching which would not believe in the repentance teaching of the Lord or God's commandments
  • 2Pe 3:9-18 LITV  The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any to perish, but all to come to repentance.  (10)  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with rushing sound, and having burned the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up.  (11)  Then all these being about to be dissolved, of what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,  (12)  looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens having been set afire will be dissolved; and burning, the elements will melt?  (13)  But according to His promise, we look for "new heavens and a new earth," in which righteousness dwells. (14) Because of this, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found in peace by Him.  (15)  And think of the long-suffering of our Lord as salvation, as also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him;  (16)  as also in all his epistles, speaking in them concerning these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the unlearned and unsettled pervert, as also they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.  (17)  Then beloved, you knowing beforehand, watch lest being led away by the error of the lawless you fall from your own steadfastness.  (18)  But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Beloved, why are we told to watch in the last days ? Peter seemed to talk to the believers when he called the beloved to watch against the error of the lawless in (v17). Obviously, he said it as a warning because he knew that some of them could fall. In another words, in the last days, the believers could fall. There would be those who think that they could never sin, fall from grace, or fall from their steadfastness, but they would still fall because they did not watch and listen to the word of the Lord. We know that the Bible passage above is for the believers. Why? Obviously the sinners will never need to watch and it would not make sense to warn them that the day of Lord will come as a thief in the night; only the believers or the Lord's servants will need to watch lest they being led away by the error of the lawless. Peter will warn the believers to be diligent, to watch, to beware, and to take heed, because he himself had learnt the hard lesson when he did not take heed to the Lord's warning, but denied the Lord three times. If you search and count the number of the words like "diligent", "watch", "beware", and "take heed" in his letters, you will be surprised to know how much Peter had changed from a rash impulsive fisherman to a learned diligent preacher with God's wisdom .. Obviously, he had learnt the hard way. But the Lord knew that Peter was the chosen one who would become His most suitable disciple to understand his calling, to feed His sheep, and to teach the importance of His warnings to the churches:
  • Luk 22:28-34 KJV  Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.  (29)  And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;  (30)  That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.  (31)  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:  (32)  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.  (33)  And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.  (34)  And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
  • Mat 24:42-51 KJV  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  (43)  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  (44)  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  (45)  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?  (46)  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  (47)  Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.  (48)  But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;  (49)  And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;  (50)  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,  (51)  And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  • Mat 18:27-35 KJV  Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.  (28)  But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.  ..  (32)  Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:  (33)  Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?  (34)  And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.  (35)  So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Obviously, the servant in the Bible passage above had fallen from grace. It should be a clear warning to all the preachers and God's servants about the error of the lawless which could lead them to fall from grace or  from their steadfastness. In fact, Jesus, Paul, and all the Apostles never preached "Once saved, always-saved !" or told the people "You shall never die". Guess who said "You shall never die" ? The serpent in the garden of Eden. But the Bible tells us to watch:
  • 2Pe 3:17-18 LITV  Then beloved, you knowing beforehand, watch lest being led away by the error of the lawless you fall from your own steadfastness.  (18)  But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
These Bible verses have it said clearly to the believers (or the beloved). Hence, it proves that the believers can fall into sin, fall from grace, fall from their steadfastness, and lose their salvation if they do not take heed or if they allow the error of the lawless to lead them to reject all the warnings and commandments of the Lord.
Hence, if you have been listening to the preachers who try to prove that you can NEVER lose your salvation or fall from grace no matter how you sin or rebel against the command of the Lord, beware; they themselves could have fallen from grace. They are not preaching the grace of God; they are preaching the error of the lawless in the name of grace or Jesus Christ. However, you who have listened to them, could have fallen from your steadfastness ! The book of Revelation has also confirmed that many believers in the last days will lose their steadfastness and patience because of the error of the lawless too:
  • Rev 14:11-12 KJV  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  (12)  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  • Rev 12:15-17 KJV  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  (16)  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  (17)  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
But some radical grace preachers will still argue, "Did you hear Pastor so and so has also fallen from his steadfastness, or fallen from grace, after he was convicted of a serious crime ? Why? It's because he had always preached keeping God's laws and commandments. Look ! What happens to him now? Haha, he himself could not keep the laws. The Bible said that those who live by the laws will be judged by the law and perished by the law. True enough, the law has become a curse to him.. But we can never fall because we have no laws. When we don't have the laws, we have no future sins. When we have no future sins, we will not need to confess sins. If we don't confess sin, we can never sin or fall into sins .. We would be righteous forever .."
I will ask them, If the government law and campaign against the drug addiction could not stop all the drug addicts from taking drugs, do you conclude that the law is useless because it cannot keep all the people from taking drugs? Similarly, if a pastor could not keep the commandments of God but fell into sins, can we blame the commandments of God and think that it was God's commandments which has caused him to fall. However, if he thinks that the pastor would escape the conviction of his sins or selfish desires should he had preached more about grace instead, he would be deceiving himself. It would show that he had fallen from his steadfastness, lost his patience in the end time, and fallen deeper into the trap of the lawless one.
  • 2Ti 3:1-7 KJV  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  (2)  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  (3)  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  (4)  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  (5)  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  (6)  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  (7)  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
You may have already heard of the 'tsunami of radical grace' or 'the radical revolution' that comes like a torrential rains in the end time. Yes, but very likely they are not preaching grace; they are preaching the error of the lawless like a great flood from the mouth of the serpent which will 'kill' the patience and 'drown' the doctrine of many churches. There could have already been a 'fierce' battle in the spiritual realm. However, the lawless doctrines which come out from the mouth of the dragon will finally 'fall to the ground' when he makes war with 'the remnant of her seed' who would keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. You may ask, "Who are 'the remnant of her seed' which keep the commandments of God ?" Of course, they can never be the preachers who always preached against God's laws and commandments !

2. The lawless one will surely come
However, they will argue,"No, we are the remnant of her seed ! Are you sure that you've interpreted Rev 12:15-17 correctly ? But Jesus told me in my spirit that in the last days, His grace message is the message which will be drown and persecuted by the commandments preachers. It is because the grace message is so effective that they will become angry and jealous of us. They will try by all means to 'kill' the message of grace with their teaching of the laws and commandments. Hence, I will think that we are 'the true remnant of her seed' who preach grace and have the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ in the last days .."
I will tell them, I don't care if you heard from Jesus in your spirits, in your dreams, or in your visions; if you think that you can deceive the people with your oxymoron teaching, you are too naive. God will not let you twist His words like the way the serpent twisted His command in the garden of Eden. Please turn over to the next chapter in the book of Revelation, Rev 13 - it describes the Lawless One who will twist God's command again in the last days. Probably, your oxymoron argument or interpretation (that the preaching of grace is equivalent to the preaching of repentance or the preaching of God's commandment) is learned from him. It originated from him who has the unique number in his name. It is not the number of a computer, an IT program, a computer chip, a system, a company, an organisation, a school, a country, a kingdom, an empire, a church, or even a group of men. But it has to be the number and the name of A MAN -
xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx
Rev 13:17-18 KJV  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,
or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Probably, God's word is speaking to him now: If he thinks that he is so wise that he can twist the words, let's see how well he can twist the number of his name from the book of Revelation ! He is definitely not a 'super' man, 'batman', or 'beastman'. He could be just a 'good' man who can speak 'good' about himself, but he could be the 'spokesman' for the dragon.
Rev 13:11 KJV  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Many can only speculate on the reason why the Bible would not disclose his name clearly. They said, "It is a mystery. That's why no one can know it." However, Some argued that God has hidden it from us for a special purpose. But I will think that it could be simply because John could not read English. He could not understand it, utter it or spell it in his language even if he saw the 'image' of a giant human face or a name rising up from the TV walls, from the projection, from the wallpaper, or from the computers in his vision. He could only count it or describe it as "xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx". He had probably seen multitudes and multitudes people who seemed to worship and listen to the image of a face which could speak on top of this name. Those who did not listen to it or think of it obsessively in their daily works (or in all their buying and selling) would be condemned, put to 'death', cursed by him (or put under his convicting 'spell' of 'spiritual' curse, of death, and of poverty?)  Hence, the beast was not just a man who would rule deceitfully; but also someone who would speak deceitfully (or preach like the dragon?) too.
Rev 13:15 KJV  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
He could probably cause many anointed 'fire' to rest on the people in the sight of men and 'slay' them too.
Rev 13:13 KJV  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
(I used to think that only the Pharisees, the 'Utopia' believers (like Adolf Hitler), or the self-righteous  prophets from other religions, would preach or do radical things to promote themselves. They would boast about their riches and power over others. Some of them could be so extreme that they would put physical, as well as spiritual curses, persecution, and infliction on others. But now I find that some preachers who think that they are 'radically' favoured could be equally offensive too.
Mat 13:41 LITV  The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness.
They could become so radical or so emotional that they would just preach curses or spiritual infliction on any fellow preachers who disagreed with them. Some of them may argue that No one can interpret the book of Revelation perfectly accurate because we have not really come to the end yet. I will fully agree with them. I believe that the beast would come in the form which may surprise or even shock most of us. However, this should not stop us from being diligent and keeping ourselves vigilant so that we will not fall into the error of the lawlessness.
All these may sound like bad news for many people of the world. But to those who know God and God's commandments. This is the day when they will not be 'condemned' by the curse of the beast anymore. Many of them, for the first time in their lives, could truly repent, died in the Lord, and 'resurrected' through the repentance of the Lord, and proclaim that keeping the commandments of God is the right thing for them to do. Rapture will follow, when the Lord will come with his angels to harvest the field with His 'sickle' ! But there will be another 'sickle' which reap, bundle, and judge those who are the tares !
  • Rev 14:11-14 KJV  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  (12)  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  (13)  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.  (14)  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. ... (17) And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. ..  (19)  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God  ..
  • Mat 13:41-43 LITV  The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness.  (42)  And they will throw them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.  (43)  Then the righteous will shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears to hear, let him hear.

3. The lawless one will cause us to reject all God's law and fall from our steadfastness
Some of them may still argue that they are saved by grace and not by keeping the law or any commandment of God, but I will tell them, Even so, it does not warrant you to reject all God's laws and God's warning totally. Of course, we know that we are saved by grace too, but we would still love God's laws and think of God's laws in our hearts and minds.
  • Psa 1:1-2 KJV  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  (2)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
  • Rom 7:22-25 KJV  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:  (23)  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  (24)  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  (25)  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Paul still had the struggle but he did not reject the law of God in his mind or in his inward man. Hence, what's wrong if we, like Paul, would still delight, keep, or serve the law of God in our mind, in our inward man, or in our daily lives too, even if we cannot keep all God's laws perfectly ? You may think that it is your struggle, self-effort, or burden, but we would consider it as our delight and steadfastness in the word and the law of God. If there is another law (the law of sin and death) which will always oppose and keep us away from the law of God, it does not mean that we will just give up the fight easily and chose to keep no more laws in our daily lives. If we do that, we are not fit to be the disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • Luk 9:20-24 KJV  He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.  (21)  And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;  (22)  Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.  (23)  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  (24)  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
  • Luk 9:61-62 KJV  And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.  (62)  And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
We can find the word 'steadfastness' and 'delight' in our Bible; but can you find the word 'self-effort' in your Bible too ? I don't think so. Hence, I tend to think that 'self-effort' could be just a fictitious term deceitfully created or deliberately misinterpreted by the radical grace preachers today to excuse themselves from their steadfastness to take heed to God's words and commandments. Please don't be deceived by them when they preach that doing or obeying God's laws and commandments is considered as 'self-effort'.
No, Paul would never say that keeping God's laws or doing God's commandments is self-effort. Paul had argued only with the Jews that doing the law of Moses, the Old covenant, the law of circumcision, the Jewish law, or, in short, the law, is self-effort or the work of the flesh. Hence, radical grace preachers could have deliberately confused the people.
There is, in fact, more human effort when they tried to twist, misinterpret, or remove God's commandments from His words or when they preached the gospel until everyone misunderstood it as license to sin.

4. What is the error of the lawless ?
So far, I have not defined or explained what the error of the lawless is. I know that it is not easy to define it. I know that the radical grace preachers would argue with me and explain it differently too. Hence, I will ask them some questions first before I tell them what I think about the error of the lawless. Let us look at the following Bible verses again:
  • 2Pe 3:14-18 LITV (14) Because of this, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found in peace by Him. Amen.
Before I ask the radical grace preachers about the Bible verses above, I will ask them, Do you tell your followers to always keep God's commandments ? Of course, they will reply, "We don't have to do that because we always preach grace and grace will teach them how to obey God's commandments. The true believers will automatically keep God's commandments and they do not need any teaching or warning from us .. They will believe right and live right .. Therefore, we do not need to teach or preach any warning or commandments to them..." I will tell them, Well, that was quite logical and Biblical. If you do not need to teach the believers to keep any laws or commandments, I guess you would think it is all the more ridiculous to warn the believers of being wicked, violent, or lawless too.
Now, I will ask them about 2Pe 3:17 above, If you would think that the believers (Peter called them the beloved) would never fall into wicked sins and violent lawlessness, why would Peter warn the believers of the error of the wicked or the lawless? Obviously, Peter's warning to the believers is not about doing wicked things, but it could be a teaching, a belief, or an error of the lawless to abandon faith and steadfastness in the word and commandment of God. Obviously, this teaching is not about doing wicked things or doing lawless deeds. It could be the teaching of Satan or the lawless which will lead people away from their faith in God, in God's words, or God's commandments.
  • Mat 16:6-12  KJV  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. ...(11) How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?  (12)  Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
  • Mat 23:28 LITV  So you also indeed outwardly appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
  • Mat 7:23 LITV  And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"
  • Mat 24:11-12 LITV  And many false prophets will be raised and will cause many to err.  (12)  And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
  • 2Th 2:5-12 LITV  Do you not remember that I told you these things, I yet being with you?  (6)  And now you know the thing holding back, for him to be revealed in his time.  (7)  For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is holding back now, until it comes out of the midst.  (8)  And then "the Lawless One" will be revealed, "whom" "the Lord" "will consume" "by the spirit of His mouth," and will bring to nought by the brightness of His presence. Isa. 11:4  (9)  His coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and miraculous signs and lying wonders,  (10)  and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.  (11)  And because of this, God will send to them a working of error, for them to believe the lie,  (12)  that all may be judged, those not believing the truth, but who have delighted in unrighteousness.
Based on these Bible verses, we know that the Pharisees were lawless preachers who preached the lawless doctrine. Hence, if lawless doctrine could be preached by the Pharisees who preached God's laws, it could also be preached by those who preach God's grace or God's love too. The reason why it is called lawless doctrine is not because it teaches people to do wicked things but because it distorts, removes, or makes God's laws of none effect like what the Pharisees had done (Mark 7:11)
Hence, the people who fall from their steadfastness or who are led by the error of lawless may not always be criminals or gangsters who commit serious crimes, but they could be the Pharisees, the false prophets, the false teachers, or anyone who lives decently and succeeds in lives.
The error of the lawless could be a mystery to many sinners and ignorant believers today because they do not read or study the Bible themselves; they only want to 'hear the Bible' from the false preachers. Hence, I believe that the error of the lawless could be a teaching or a doctrine which could lead many away from God or God's words. They may not have committed any serious crime but the love of the lawless error could be serious enough to lead them away from God's salvation, just like the disobedience of Adam and Eve may not be serious crime but it was serious enough to banish them from God's presence eternally. From the warnings of the Lord, Paul, Peter, and the Apostles above, apparently some believers (or the so-called believers) who received the word of God may need to be saved once more, if they have abandoned their steadfastness in the word of the Lord.
  • Mat 13:18-23 KJV  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.  (19)  When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.  (20)  But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;  (21)  Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.  (22)  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.  (23)  But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

5. Can we give false guarantee to all who receive the word?
After reading the Lord's parable of the sower above, we should know that all the believers or people who believe or receive the word of God can be likened to different types of ground for the seed that was sown. Some may be saved; but some may also fall by the wayside or fall from their steadfastness. However, Jesus never guaranteed that all the seed would grow and bear fruits. Hence, if we preach that everyone who hears God's word (including those who believe and receive it with joy) can never fall, we would contradict the gospel and the teaching of Jesus Christ. We could have denied Jesus by preaching a different gospel.
Since our churches can be a potential sowing ground as well as the receiving ground for the preaching of God's word, we can reach out to the sinners easily and effectively from our pulpits. Hence, our sermon should be preached with the understanding that non-believers or carnal believers could be our main audience too. Hence, if the non-believers are in our midst, we would not preach guarantee to everyone who listen or believe in the word of God. In fact, Jesus preached the parable of the sowers to all His disciples too.
Some preachers may still argue, "No, we must preach that all the people who believe the word would be saved, no matter what they do later; otherwise they would feel insecure and lose their salvation in the end. It is because true believers will never reject the word of God." I will ask them, Isn't the Lord's parable of the sower clear enough? The Lord did not promise or preach that everyone who believe or listen to His word will be saved. However, if you think that everyone in your church is already a true believer, you would not need to preach the gospel to them. Instead, you should preach about evangelism and sent them out to preach the gospel, like the disciples below:
  • Mar 6:7-13 KJV  And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;  ..  (12)  And they went out, and preached that men should repent.  (13)  And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
However, even among the Lord's inner circle of the twelve disciples, there was still someone like Judas Iscariot who fell away. Hence, I would think that it is foolish to guarantee that all our church believers are true believers when Jesus Himself would not make such guarantee on all His disciples. In fact, Jesus would always tell His disciples, including His true disciples or the twelve disciples to watch or to to beware, lest they could fall like Peter or Judas Iscariot too. Many pastors today have also realised that even their 'inner circle' of friends, believers, or employees could cheat on them, betray them, or abuse their trust. Therefore, making careless guarantee without any teaching of diligence or God's warnings is foolishness in the sight of God. It will bring swift destruction to a believer in the future when it is least expected by him.

6. The error of the lawless will cause nakedness instead of fruitfulness
I saw a church website which talked about Psalm 1 and unceasing fruitfulness with the following words. I believe that it was created with good intention. But good intention may not save if it is preached naively against the word of God. It is because the serpent could have proved his good intention to Eve too, but his good intention could not save her:
A. The rhema word from the website says, "God spoke to xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx many years ago that every year, He would give pastor His rhema word for the year for our church. It is not a list of do’s and don’ts, but it is a declaration of what God will do for the church in that year. On the very first Sunday of this year, it was revealed that 2012 will be a year of unceasing fruitfulness. Beloved, God wants you blessed and fruitful every day of this year like a tree planted by the waters! (Jeremiah 17:7-8, Psalm 1:3)"
I would think that 'his' rhema word declaration above is a sincerely ignorant mistake if it is just an eager promise to guarantee fruitfulness and salvation to every believer. However, when it is preached with its clear Bible quotation from Psalm 1, it has stunning similarity to the 'rhema' word from the serpent in the garden of Eden. I would not think that it is by coincidence when its intention is to preach Psalm 1 or God's written word without any do's and don'ts (or God's commandments). Obviously it has clear intention to preach the word of God by changing it or by taking away all God's commands. If you summarise its words, you will get this definition of His rhema wordIt is not a list of do's and don'ts, but a year of unceasing fruitfulness. In another words, it tells you that you should listen to his 'rhema' word instead of the written word of God because there is no more God's command or do's and don'ts in his 'rhema' word. If this does not ring a bell in your head, you will really need to read the whole chapter of Psalm 1 again and find out if it is a truth or lie that there is no more do's and don'ts in God's words:
B. The written word from Psa 1:1-6 KJV  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  (2)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  (3)  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  (4)  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.  (5)  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  (6)  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Please compare both words of God A. The rhema word, and B. The written word. One is taken from someone who claimed that he heard 'the rhema word' of God; the other taken directly from the written word of God. One has no more do's and don'ts (or God's commands); the other would still meditate or delight in the do's and don'ts of the law of God. However, both would promise fruitfulness. Which one is speaking the truth ? Which one should we listen to ? The lawless people would argue that it does not matter if they will believe both words, but will you follow them or will you make a stand by believing only the truth and the written word of God. The lawless people would still argue that both are from God, and therefore both have spoken the truth. But the Bible said that the serpent had claimed that he knew God's word too. He probably will also tell us that that he has 'the rhema word' of God too:
  • Gen 2:16-17 KJV  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  (17)  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Gen 3:4-5 KJV  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  (5)  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
  • Mat 4:3-11 KJV  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.  (4)  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  ..  (7)  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.  .. (10)  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  (11)  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Jesus has shown us that any word which is not based on the written word of God is not God's word, even if it is claimed to be 'His rhema word'. Hence, if we listen to 'the rhema word' of the serpent and believe that there is no more do's and don'ts in the word of God, we would never have fruitfulness; we would only have nakedness
  • Gen 3:9-11 KJV  And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?  (10)  And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.  (11)  And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
  • Rev 3:17-19 KJV  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  (18)  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  (19)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
The only way to cover our nakedness is to repent and keep the Lord's commandments; otherwise we are still blind and naked, even though we may think that we are rich, and increased with goods, and have fruitfulness.

7. The error of the lawless will contradict God's word and commandment
Again, in one of their latest conference on grace 2012, I heard one of them said, "Under law, men work; but under grace, God works. Under law, God says, Thou shalt not, Thou shalt not, Thou shalt not - it's your performance, (it means) you work.. But under grace (the new covenant), God says, I will, I will, I will, (it means) He works. Hallelujah, what the law could not do, grace accomplished without any laws .."
I will tell them, Have you heard God correctly? God has never said, "You work" or "He works" in any covenants; but God did said, "You must obey His word" in both the Old and New covenants. Have you forgotten what you preached on Psalm 1 ?  After telling your believers to mediate on Psalm 1 and giving them the instruction not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful in order to have  a year of unceasing fruitfulness, are you changing your mind now by telling them that all God's commands not to do those things are just do's and don'ts of the works of the law ? Don't you agree that there are three very clear 'Thou shalt not' or 'don't' instructions in Psalm 1:1 ? However, does it mean that we are not required to keep them because doing it will show that we are under the law and not under grace ? No. It would be very hypocritical of us if we tell the people or our children just to meditate or confess them without the intention of keeping or doing them. We would be like the Pharisees or the hypocritical teachers who made God's word of none effect. The Pharisees could teach very well, but they were hypocritical teachers who  told the people just to confess or meditate on God's laws only:
  • Mar 7:11-13 KJV  But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.  (12)  And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;  (13)  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
  • Mat 15:6-11 KJV  And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.  (7)  Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,  (8)  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  (9)  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  (10)  And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:  (11)  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
I will ask them, Did God say that under, grace, you cannot teach God's laws and commandments ? Did God say that believers who are under the New covenant should only meditate on Psalm 1 without keeping and doing it ? Did God say that, under grace, there are no more do's and don't; and no more God's commandments to keep?
  • Mat 28:19-20 KJV  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  (20)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
  • Joh 14:15 KJV  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
  • Joh 15:10-14 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  (11)  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  (12)  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  (13)  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  (14)  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
I will ask them, Didn't Jesus tell us to keep God's commandment? Please be honest. Although He did not give us a list of do's and don'ts, He did tell us to keep His commandments or do His commandments. Can you be under the law just because you do His commandments ? Will you fall from grace or from the New covenant if you keep God's commandments ? Of course, it's impossible; or else He would  never ask you to keep His commandments.
I believe that Jesus will never say to you, "Under grace, you have no more law or commandment to do, instead it is just I will, I will, I will do everything for you ..  " No, obviously, you have heard from the wrong 'Jesus'. I have never heard the Lord said "I will, I will .., I will do everything for you"; instead I've only heard the other 'God' who will always say, "I will, I will ..,  I will do many things"
  • Isa 14:12-15 KJV  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  (13)  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  (14)  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.  (15)  Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Obviously, you have misinterpreted the Lucifer's 'I will' as God's 'I will' and replace God's 'I will' with your own 'I will', 'lawlessness' or 'doing no more laws' philosophies. If you read your Bible carefully, you will know that God's 'I will' in the Bible is still for you to do His laws and commandments. Ultimately you will realise that you can never run away or escape from the law of God with any kind of your lawless philosophies:
  • Heb 10:16-18 KJV  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  (17)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.  (18)  Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

8. The error of the lawless is still a very powerful seduction to all mankind in the past, present, as well as, future
Lawlessness can seduce ! It can 'speak' with a 'double tongue' or 'split tongue' like the serpent, the first ancient 'oxymoron preacher', who preached 'beautifully' to the mankind in the garden of Eden and convinced them to follow him or another 'God' who can 'change' (prosper) their lives, who was 'too good to be true', and who would not have any do's and don'ts for them. Guess what ? Obviously, men failed - they were no match against the seduction of lawlessness ! Today the serpent will still preach to us beautifully or seductively and convince us to follow his lawless thinking again; however, this time, he would preach it in our world and churches.
  • Gen 3:1 KJV  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
  • 2Co 11:3-4 KJV  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  (4)  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
That's why we should beware if the gospel of the 'radical grace' is more attractive to the people, especially to the sinners or the unrepentant today. Why must we beware of the radical grace attraction ? Is it because we are against grace ? No, it is because it  has stunning similarity to the subtilty of the serpent, the lawless, and the unrepentant, who would boast that their gospel or their rhema word could 'change' (prosper) their lives, that their 'God' is too good to be true, and that their 'God' has no more do's and don'ts for them.
They would then convince us that we need to be delivered from the churches who have too many do's and don'ts, and falsely accuse the churches as the churches of 'the law' and 'old wine' in order to convince everyone that they have a better gospel or revolution. They will just accuse all the churches for preaching a condemning God; while boasting that their God is 'too good to be true'. We should have asked them, "How do you know that our God is not good enough ? Is it just because our God has too many do's and don'ts or God's commandments for you ?"
However, please think, Can the churches preach the right gospel if they have no more do's and don'ts for the people ? Can they still be the churches of God if they do not preach all God's commandments or all that Jesus commanded them?
  • Mat 28:16-20 KJV  Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.  (17)  And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.  (18)  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  (19)  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  (20)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

 9. Who will preach or create the error of the lawless ?
  • 2Pe 3:17 LITV (17)  Then beloved, you knowing beforehand, watch lest being led away by the error of the lawless you fall from your own steadfastness
Many of us may still think that the error of the lawless must come from the serpent, the false prophets, the Pharisees, and those who preach the laws. However, can the error of the lawless come from those preach Jesus or grace ? Of course, it is possible.
  • If it is not possible, Jesus would not warn us that there would be false prophets who will be in sheep's skin: Mat 7:12-23 KJV  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.  (13)  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: .. (15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  ...  (21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  (48)  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood (false doctrine) arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Wolves in sheep's skin means false prophets who look like the believers or God's preachers; but they are not true believers. (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)
  • If it is not possible, John would not warn us that they came from us; but they were not of us: 1Jn 2:18-24 KJV  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  (19)  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.  (20)  But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.  (21)  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  (22)  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  (23)  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  (24)  Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. They went out from us but they were not of us because they preached Jesus Christ and wanted to replace Him or change His teaching and commandments. They were anti-Christ not because they preached against Jesus Christ, but because they denied Him and preached 'in place of' Him.
  • If it is not possible, John would not warn us about the beast who would come and speak like the Lamb: Rev 13:11-12 KJV  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  (12)  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. The first beast was defeated once by the commandments of God when he tried to confront Jesus in the wilderness or when Jesus was hung on the cross. But he will soon be released again to tempt the churches in the last days with more of his beasts (false prophets and false doctrines). Please think, Can Satan come into the churches in the 'Lamb's skin' or in the name of God or Jesus Christ ? You bet. If Jesus, Paul, Peter, and John had all warned us that Satan can come to tempt the churches like he tempted Eve by transforming himself as angel of light, the Lord and the Apostles would want every believer to be diligent (I will probably talk about the 'abomination of desolation' (Mat 24:15,Mar 13:14) which will surely come into the 'sanctuary' in the last days). Hence, how can we ignore God's warnings ? Therefore, no one can boast that he can discern all things; neither can we boast about the grace of God for all our foolishness, blindness, and lawlessness, and therefore aim to live careless lives; or teach others to live with our careless, lawless, and boastful attitude.

10. The error of the lawless could be the mark of the lawless (or the 'card' of the lawless?)
The error of the lawless could be sold like a 'credit card'. How could it be possible ? Of course, it is possible. If religion can sell, false religion can sell much better.  If the use of credit card can be addictive, the error of the lawless would be obsessive:
  • Rev 13:15-17 KJV  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  (16)  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  (17)  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Of course, we can interpret the above Bible verses in two different ways: either 1. literally or 2. figuratively; or either 1. physically or 2. spiritually. Many Bible scholars may think that a computer chip or program would be invented to control the buying or selling of those who believed in the beast. However, I would think that nothing can match the creation of a lawless 'credit card' which could guarantee prosperity in whatever they might buy or sell. It could be a physical card, or just virtual card in their mind, which they might use whenever they do their daily chores. It would become so addictive that it could become a way of life as its users or followers would be connected even through facebook, twitter, or many other form of social media. This 'card' is no ordinary card. It is not just a card. It is a privilege, an account, or a membership. However, it could also be a 'supernatural' favour with partnership in the error of the lawless, or simply a 'mark' which can never be erased from their minds, from their lives, and from their 'foreheads'. Therefore, are we going around to find out which church is selling such a card ? No, if the beast had used it to deceive the people once, he will not use it again; he could use many other means to put his mark in the minds of the people. Please don't waste our time trying to catch him. We can never catch him until his time is up for God's judgement.
Hence, I am not surprised that in the last days, people of the world will become more religious than ever. Why? Is it because they have become better people and would want to do good ? I hope so. But sadly many of them are more religious only because they just want to prosper; doing good is the last thing in their minds (the mark of the beast could have blocked their minds from thinking of doing good or doing God's laws). Hence, many of them would be drawn to any religion (or even Christianity) which can satisfy their needs. Of course, they would think that Christianity without any God's laws would be the top of their choices as it could promise them:
  • Salvation of their souls without the regeneration of the spirit through rebirth and repentance
  • full blindness from all their sins conscience with no repentance from it
  • material prosperity in the world, and above all
  • a lawless ideology which will give them a sense of false hope

12. How would the error of the lawless block the thinking of God's laws in our minds?
Some preachers will still argue, "No, please don't falsely accuse us. We have not blocked the people's mind from doing good, although subtly we could have preached more on grace and discouraged them from thinking about the laws, from doing good, and from doing God's commandments. But isn't thinking about grace alone good enough ? Thinking about grace will lead them to do God's commandments. So far, did any of our believers live lawlessly after we told them to start meditating on grace instead of the do's and don't of the law of God ? No. However, we have seen many of those churches who always preach the laws, 'do good get good' rules, and many do's and don'ts, falling into sins. They themselves have lived lawlessly. They can never change people's lives when they are legalistic and under the law .. they are like the Pharisees. They live by the law and therefore they will die by the law like the Pharisees.. They preach the ministry of death and condemnation. They preach an angry God .. No wonder, they can never grow, they are chasing the people away from their churches .."
I will ask them, Who is falsely accusing who now? Those who preach the law of God or those who preach grace? No, God's preachers would never falsely accuse you when they preach the law and commandment of God. They have never changed their ways of preaching for the past 2000 years since they had been following the teaching of the Apostles from the start of the early church. They were not interested to disagree with anyone like you; they would just want to preach the word and commandment of God faithfully according to the teaching of Jesus Christ. However, the moment you preached radical grace 'revolution' as part of your 'new' popularity campaign against the traditional teaching, you have started to falsely accuse them for preaching too many 'do good get good' rules and self-efforts. Now, will you turn around shamelessly and say that they are the ones who have falsely accused you ? Many of them were still 'minding their own business' to feed the sheep and knew nothing about your radical grace revolution against their traditional teaching. They may be stunned if you say that they have falsely accused you when all they did was just preaching the word of God faithfully. The false accusation cannot be true. Yes, creating fictitious persecution or false accusation against yourselves or against your own revolution may yield explosive popularity for yourselves, but sometimes it may backfire.
I will tell them, We must look at it in the long run. Yes, preaching nothing or doing nothing except thinking of grace alone may seem good to many people. But is it in the word of God? I am doubtful about it because I have only heard of the word of God which tells us to meditate on the law of God (Psalm 1), not on the grace of God. I have also heard the word of God which tells us to keep His laws in our minds and hearts. This would also mean that we will meditate more on His laws and commandments (Heb 8:10, 10:16). So, I would have doubts when they argued that they had never blocked people's minds from thinking about God's laws or when they would just tell them to think of grace, blessings, and prosperity, instead of God's laws and commandments. It is hard to convince everyone when the word of the Lord is so clear about keeping His commandments or God's commandments:
  • Joh 14:15 KJV  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
  • Joh 15:10 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
  • 1Jn 2:3-5 KJV  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  (4)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  (5)  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
  • 1Jn 3:22 KJV  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
  • Rev 14:12 KJV  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  • Rev 22:14 KJV  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Many preachers would still argue,"How about thinking and preaching of grace alone? Wouldn't it be better than thinking of God's laws ?"  But I do not wish to say much if the word of the Lord could say clearly to you. Please find out if the servant (or preacher) in the parable below became a better person after he had received forgiveness from the king. No. Probably he had been rejoicing and thinking of the grace and favour of God. However, without true repentance or thinking of the law of God in his heart, he still failed miserably in the end.
(29)  And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.  (30)  And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.  (31)  So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. (35)  So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
a. justification by faith or by grace is only the beginning of a believer's forgiven life so that he can do more with the words and commandments of God in his life. The grace for cancellation of debts or forgiveness of debts is not given so that we can have more future debts or more future lawlessness. It is certainly not an excuse or license to have more future sins with no more repentance (or to sin wilfully).
  • Luk 13:2-10 KJV  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  (3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (4)  Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  (5)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  (6)  He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.  (7)  Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?  (8)  And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:  (9)  And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.  (10)  And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
b. Grace is not forever - it is given for the purpose of repentance, turning back to God's commandments, keeping God's laws, and doing His words. Grace is not given for the purpose of enjoying or living in lawlessness forever. Grace is not there forever if we are forever lawless in our hearts or minds. However, if we repent, keep the commandments of God, and live with the laws of God in our hearts and minds, God will remember all our lawlessness no more and He will be our God forever:
  • Heb 10:16-17 LITV  "This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My Laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds;"  (17)  also He adds, "I will not at all still remember their sins" and their lawlessnesses. ..
  • Heb 8:10 LITV  Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My Laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
  • Luk 19:8-10 LITV  But standing, Zaccheus said to the Lord, Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor. And if in anything I accused anyone falsely, I restore it fourfold.  (9)  And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, for he also is a son of Abraham.  (10)  For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the one being lost.
Hence, the cancellation of debt or forgiveness of debt is not given so that a believer can have more future debt or lawlessness forever. It is certainly not an excuse or license to have more future sin or lawlessness without any repentance. However, many preachers have deceived the believers into thinking that they can literally expect forgiveness of all their future sins, and even supernatural cancellation of all their future financial debts, if they will just radically believe or do and teach their 'holy communion's blood cleansing' ritual, 'pure grace' confession, 'supernatural' favour, 'mind changing' philosophy, or 'false repentance' to disregard and to 'repent' from all the laws and commandments of God. I did write about some preachers who have managed to quote the Bible out of context and capitalise on this 'supernatural' deception or 'cancellation of debts' to transfer effortless wealth to themselves. (see "Supernatural cancellation of debts - Is it really a supernatural transfer of wealth, a religious gimmick, or just a vain religious boasting?" in my previous post here.)

13. The error of the lawless will confuse the keeping of God's laws with the works of old self
They will still argue, "Let me ask you, How are you saved ? Is it by your self-effort? No, it is by grace. Similarly, in the area of holiness, the same thing applies. God wants you to understand that you are in Christ Jesus, you have no more self-doing in the pursuit of holiness. When you have no more self-doing or thinking about self-doing, you would not need to think of doing any God's laws and commandments. Hence, you don't think of God's laws, God's commandments, obedience, godliness, discipleship, faith, prayer, doing good to your neighbours .. etc. You will just think of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus only or grace, grace, grace.. You don't need to think of repentance too. You will just think of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, .. YES, JESUS ONLY. Think of His finished work.. If we think of Him and His finished work, we have no more self, no more laws, no more God's commandments, no more struggles against sins, no more dying to our sinful desires over and over again..  In another word, we can never feel sinful or sins conscience anymore even if we've sinned or if we will sin in the future . We feel righteous instead. Why? it's because we are like JESUS.. AS HE IS, SO AM I .. That's why we are honest to tell everyone that, yes, we will still sin, but we will never feel sinful and we do not have the need to keep God's commandments everyday. Please think if God has seen you righteous, do you still need to think of keep His commandments? No, thinking of His commandments will insult Him. It will show that you don't trust the ability of His grace to make you righteous .."
I will tell them, Yes, you can psycho yourselves to think that 'As Jesus is, so are you' or even 'AS GOD IS, SO ARE YOU' too. But are you God ? No. You are still a man, a sinner, who will still has the propensity to sin, although you can deny it vehemently. Yes, God will consider us righteous because of His Son, Jesus Christ, but we know that it is by grace. If we really know grace, we would not think that we are so righteous that we can do anything we want and think that we are still righteous. The servant in the parable above Mat 18:27-35 should be clear warning to us. Hence, if we think, speak, or behave like the servant in the parable, we don't really know grace. Grace is fit for only those who are humble and know how to live by grace. From the way you think and boast about your righteousness over your sins, I have wondered if you really know grace.
Yes, we are not saved by self-effort. But did Jesus say that therefore you have no more effort to keep God's commandments or to do good to your neighbour?
  • Luk 10:36-37 KJV  Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?  (37)  And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
  • Mat 25:37-40 KJV  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  (38)  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  (39)  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  (40)  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
  • Mat 7:15-16 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? ..  (20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
  • Joh 15:10-14 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  (11)  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  (12)  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  (13)  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  (14)  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
  • Luk 9:23-24 KJV  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  (24)  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Amen.
Please be honest, Do you see any doing for the believers in the Bible verses above? I would think that these are all good effort or great effort to do the will of God. Is it the self-effort we should condemn ? NO. It is clearly mentioned as the good and important individual effort which must be found in every believer. It would be blindness and deceit if we keep preaching against it and insist that there is no more such effort to obey, to do, to keep, or to teach God's commandments in our churches.
I will tell them, If I were to teach others not to trust in our 'self-effort' for God's salvation, I will not confuse it with our repentance effort to turn away from sins, or to meditate, keep, and do God's laws and commandments. I may give additional definition by saying that 'self-effort' is the works of the old self which has to die daily on the cross. From Paul's arguments with the Jewish believers who trusted in their laws and circumcision, we should know that :

Paul was against the works of the law which was the Jewish law of the old covenant, the law of Moses, the law of circumcision, the law of sins and flesh. In another words, he was against the works of the old self or the effort of the self which would glory in the flesh. However, Paul was not against the keeping of God's laws and commandments.
  • Gal 6:11-18 KJV  Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.  (12)  As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.  (13)  For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.  (14)  But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.  (15)  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.  (16)  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.  (17)  From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.  (18)  Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. To the Galatians written from Rome.
  • Rom 7:5 KJV  For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death   ...   (22) For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:  (23)  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
  • Eph 6:1-3 KJV  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  (2)  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)  (3)  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Please think, If Paul himself would teach us to keep God's commandments, would he tell us that keeping of God's commandment or teaching of God's commandments is self-effort or mixture of law and grace ?

14. The error of the lawless will become more and more religiously defensive
They will argue, "Do you know that  God is love and God is good? Hence, God cannot judge; God can only love. Similarly, Jesus is not only Grace; He is Radical Grace. It means that He can only save us, He can only bless us, He can only prosper us .. etc; but He cannot condemn us, judge us, or convict us of our sins .. He is too good to be true. Only churches who preach such a God are the true churches... All the rest of the churches who still have do's and don'ts, God's laws, God's commandments, God's judgement, and God's condemnation, are false churches. Why do I say that? They always use the law of God to condemn us. They are self-righteous. They think they have the word of God. They think like the Pharisees. They think that, since they have sound doctrine, they can correct us from wrong teaching or wrong beliefs. However, they don't have love. They don't have the grace of God. They only have the condemning spirit of the Pharisees who accused the adulterous woman and the sinners. They are the brethren accuser. Please think, If they are from God, don't you think that they should pray for those who have gone astray first and forgive them if they have done any wrong things.."
I will tell them, If you have preached the error of the lawless, and a God's prophet or an Apostle now comes to you and rebukes you and tells you to repent, will you accuse him for the lack of love and demand that he should pray for you first? No, your reply (or your preaching to everyone) will show us if you have truly repented or if you have only become more rebellious. Of course, God's prophet or the Apostle would like to pray for you if you are sincere about your request for prayer, but they will all do it only after you have shown readiness in your effort to change, sincerity in the hearts, or fruits of repentance. Of course, they would never pray for you unless you have repented.
  • Mat 3:7-10 KJV  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  (8)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:  (9)  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  (10)  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
  • Luk 3:8-9 KJV  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  (9)  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
  • Act 26:20 KJV  But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
  • Act 8:20-24 KJV  But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  (21)  Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.  (22)  Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.  (23)  For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.  (24)  Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

Right believing will lead to right living. However, wrong belief will not only lead to living in error, but also to an unknown 'God'.."

Warning:This is definitely not a website for the faint-hearted; but for those who are bold enough to seek the truth. Honestly I did not expect it to be so gloomy for the lawless one or for those who will follow the error of the lawless when I first started to write on this page. I have only written what I know fully based on the teaching of the Lord from the New Testament. Although it is gloomy, it can never be more gloomy than what we will see in reality, in the Book of Revelation. Hence, I hope that you will understand that it is not the heart of God to condemn any people. However, when the error of the lawless is looming near, it is time for God's people or the churches to read the Bible again with the 'eyesalve' of the Lord: Rev 3:17-22 KJV  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  (18)  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  (19)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  (20)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  (21)  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.  (22)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
