K142. The law of God will reveal men's conscience

- including the conscience of every believer and sinner
The law of God is like a mirror. The mirror does not create ugliness; it shows ugliness. But do we throw away the mirror just because it cannot remove our ugliness? No. Similarly, the law does not produce sin; it reveals sin. We do not throw away all the law of God just because it cannot remove our sins too:
1Co 13:12 KJV  For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
2Co 3:7-18 KJV But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away .. (9) For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory .. .. (18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Paul did tell us about the limitation of the glory or the law of Moses in stones; but did he condemn the law of God as useless and tell us to throw it away? No, on the contrary, he showed us that the law is no longer a mirror which will just reveal sins; it is now more than a mirror.
The law was obeyed and understood as the law of stones from Moses in the form of the Old Covenant; but now the law is spirit and it is part of our life, to the extent of becoming an important part of our spiritual obedience in our thoughts and minds too (Heb 8:10, 10:16); no more physical obedience or training in the form of external flesh, circumcision, human efforts, or religious ceremonies as though we are being trained by the schoolmaster (Gal 3:24-25). Many argue that God's law can only come from His Spirit and it can never be spirit because Paul mentioned it as the law of the Spirit or the law from the Spirit (Rom 8:2). I will ask them, Can the Biology or Physics which we studied DWELLS in our hearts or minds? No, our Biology text book can be memorized by heart, but it can never dwell in us or be written in us. It can dwell in us only if it is spirit. We have probably heard of the difference between the 'logos' word and the 'rhema' word too. When the word becomes spirit and life, it will speak in us.
Joh 6:63 KJV  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Joh 3:34 KJV  For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
If the word of God can be spirit and life, why can't the law of God be spirit and life too? Hence, God's laws will still guide, teach, sanctify, protect, and preserve His people (Heb 8:10, 10:16). For example, the command of the Lord for a man to be a faithful husband to his wife or the marriage vow is still a law of God in the churches and in the life of all the believers today. It is still the same law after God created Adam and Eve, after He gave His Ten Commandments to the Israelites, and after He sent Jesus to the world. Jesus, Paul, and John had never taught love only as a good thing; they taught love as a COMMANDMENT (Joh 13:34, Rom 13:9-10, 2Jn 1:5). Today we have heard many preachers teaching love 'as a good thing' or 'good feeling', but is it same 'as a commandment'? Certainly not. Why? 'A commandment to love' is different from 'a teaching just to love' because:
1. A commandment always has the clear written 'do good' principles from God; but a teaching may just tell you to 'do nothing' or go by the flow, by the 'hot-cold' principles or philosophies of men. Teaching without the law of God may also bring lawless conscience which are very much dependent on the philosophies and teachings of the false prophets in the end time (Mat 7:15-23). Many people will turn to the false prophets for the teaching and definition of 'doing good' so that they can keep feeling 'no condemnation' everyday. Unknowingly it has also become a bondage as they need to hear more and more false teaching and they become more and more dependent on the lies and definition of 'law' (or 'doing good') from the false prophets.
2. A commandment will tell you that there are serious consequences or judgement if you do not do it; but a teaching may just tell you to do anything you like and there is no judgement of God:
Rom 13:9-11 KJV  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  (10)  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.  (11)  And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
1Th 5:19-23 KJV Quench not the Spirit.  (20)  Despise not prophesyings.  (21)  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  (22)  Abstain from all appearance of evil.  (23)  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The law of God is not useless after grace came
Now I would like to talk to the hyper grace preachers who think that all the laws are the 'useless do good get good' principles for the believers. I will ask them, Do you consider the two Bible teachings above (in Rom 13:9-11 and 1Th 5:19-23) as the law of the Spirit or the law of God? If it is the law of the Spirit to hold fast to what is good, to do good, and to abstain from evil, isn't it a law of God too? Yes, God's laws are 'do good' principles. But, if you label all God's laws as the 'useless do good get good' principles and mock at them, you will preach against God's people too.
1. I hate it when many preachers criticize that God's preachers or other preachers are preaching the 'do good get good' or 'do bad get beat' principles. I hate it not because I hate them who criticize others, but because I love the laws of God. We do not hate the people; but we can certainly hate what they preach or what they criticize if they do not speak the truth.
2. Many hate God's laws even though they boast that they can never hate. Do you notice that what 'I hate' and what 'many hate' above are two different things? We can love and we can hate too, but we must know what we hate. We love what God loves and hate what God hates.
However, many do not love what God loves; instead they hate what God loves. They hate God's laws, even though they may argue vehemently that they have high regard for God's laws. Yes, they have 'high regard' for God's laws; but it is not the regard to follow His laws , but to shun His laws. Their 'high regard' for God's laws is a hypocritical way or excuse for them to say that God's laws have an 'unrealistic standard' which is too high for them. So, their 'high regard' for God's laws is just to ignore His laws or even speak evil against His laws. The truth behind their 'high regard' is: They do not really have high regard for God's laws or love God's laws. Those who really have high regard for God's laws are those who have the laws of God in their hearts and minds. Hence, later when some preachers realize that their believers still believe and need some kinds of 'law' from God, they would just subtly change God's laws, give their own 'laws', lie about the definition of 'law' and 'doing good', and do like the Pharisees (Mar 7:9-13).
I will tell them, If God's people are observing and obeying God's laws to do good, how can you falsely accused them as the law-based preachers or Pharisees? No, God forbid. You may claim that you can preach a better or more exciting new age doctrine or grace without any law or commandment; but you are no better than the Pharisees if you preach like them. Please open your eyes. Wherever you preach from Psalm 1, please have the guts to tell your believers that you are preaching from the law of God! Jesus and Paul have never changed it into a different law. It is still the same law of God:
Psa 1:1-6 KJV  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  (2)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night  .. .. (5) Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  (6)  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Jud 1:10-13 KJV  But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.  (11)  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core ..
Many argue that the law of God is not for them because they read the following Bible verses. They conclude that the law is not for them because they have been made righteous:
1Ti 1:5-9 KJV  Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:  (6)  From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;  (7)  Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. (8) But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; (9) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers ..
It means that the law is made for the lawless. But we are not the lawless because we have the law of God. So, the external law has not much use or effect on us who have the internal law of God in our hearts. Would Paul, therefore, suggest to remove all the law from us? No, the law of God has its purpose to judge the wicked and to 'mark' God's people. The law of God will still be there even if we have become saints IN HEAVEN. Why? When there is the law of God in heaven, the lawless, the disobedient, the ungodly .. and etc cannot enter into the kingdom of God. This is for our good when no evil can enter the kingdom of God.
I will tell them, If you are really righteous, you may not need any law or commandment. But are you really so righteous that you do not need any law or commandment from the Lord? I doubt so because, if you do not have the commandment, how can you have the end of the commandment which is "charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned" (1Ti 1:5).
Hence, if you do not have the commandment of God, you are a liar, not only to men; but to God:
1Jn 2:4 KJV  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
The Bible confirmed that those who lied against God's commandments will also lie about their sins and make God look like a liar too. They were once 'great believers', but now 'great liars' in the eyes of God:
1Jn 1:6-10 KJV  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  (7)  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  (8)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  (9)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (10)  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Do you notice that the walking, the confessing, the verbs, the promise, the cleansing, the forgiving, the conditions 'If' .. and etc are in the present tense? It means that the promises, the teaching, and the things that we need to do are applicable to all of us, whether we are the agnostic believers, gnostic believers, lukewarm believers, strong believers, weak believers, male believers, female believers, transvestite believers, young believers, or old believers ..
I think the Bible is very clear about the compassion of God to everyone, especially the weak believers or the depressed who will confess their sins (1 John 1:9). We should show compassion, forgive, and say words of encouragement to them. However,  If the false prophets or Pharisees say that they are feeling depressed and condemned too, do we say the same thing to them? No, I prefer to tell them to repent and I will ensure that they can show the fruit of repentance first. Why? It is because, if they do not repent, our compassion and sympathy on them will help them to deceive even more people ! This is the same reason why Jesus had no compassion on the false prophets who could even confess His name:
Mat 7:15-23 LITV (15) But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves .. ..  (21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven.  (22)  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power?  (23)  And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"

A clear conscience can never come from a lawless conscience or seared conscience
Many of us think that we will never need to answer the question regarding any false prophets because everyone we meet is a good person; not the false prophets. But we should be prepared to answer the Lord and His questions: "Is your conscience clear every time you interact, commune, or eat with them? Did you ask them to repent? Or did you join them, support them, and adopt their lawless conscience instead"?
False prophets and Pharisees will always ask for grace conscience, compassion, and sympathy not to judge them. They will always deny vehemently that they are the false prophets. But have they given compassion and sympathy to the people whom they deceive and 'devour'? If they have compassion and sympathy for others, they would not teach lies which put the people into their hopeless or lawless position. Hence, lawless preachers and false prophets will be judged more severely by the Lord not because they do more lawless deeds; but because they teach lawless conscience, lawless philosophy, lawless doctrine, or lawless lies against the will and commandments of God. Hence, they are worst than the sinners (who may still repent, obey, and do the will of God) because what they teach is worst than lawless deeds. They teach lawless conscience.
However, what is a lawless conscience? We know that it is a conscience or desire to transgress against God's law. It comes from the false prophets, lawless preachers, or lawless doctrine. But if we trace it back to the beginning of the creation, we will know that lawless conscience is from Satan who desire to be God or to be like God, and he would like to pass that conscience to Adam and Eve too:
Gen 3:4-5 KJV  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  (5)  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Isa 14:12-15 KJV  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  (13)  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  (14)  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (15) Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
When Satan or men have the conscience to be like God, there is a likelihood that they cannot love the law of God. They would desire to live above the law of God and to give their own 'carnal' laws for themselves and others too. They may not behave like evil or wicked men; however, that could be the beginning when evil and wickedness will creep in and rule their hearts unknowingly. Hence, sin could have begun from lawlessness, and lawlessness will multiply and bring in much evil and wickedness in the last days too:
Mat 24:10-12 LITV  And then many will be offended, and they will deliver up one another and will hate one another.  (11)  And many false prophets will be raised and will cause many to err.  (12)  And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
Luk 12:49-54 LITV  I came to hurl fire into the earth, and what will I if it already has been lit?  (50)  But I have a baptism to be immersed in, and how am I pressed until it is done!  (51)  Do you think that I came to give peace in the earth? No, I say to you, But rather division.  (52)  For from now on five in one house will have been divided, three against two, and two against three.  (53)  Father will be divided against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against her bride, "and the bride against her mother-in-law." (54)  And He also said to the crowd, When you see the cloud rising up from the west, you immediately say, A storm is coming; and it happens so.
Jesus has prophesied and said it very clearly, Many will feel offended. Those who love lawlessness will not like to hear any law of God. They will feel so offended that they would not hesitate to take legal actions against their fellow brethren. Many will become easily offended under the influence and deception of the false prophets. They would be deceived to think that everyone is the devil, including their 'law-based' bosses or Christian brethren.

We have good conscience if we keep the commandments of God
1Jn 3:16-24 KJV  Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  (17)  But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?  (18)  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth ..  ..  (21)  Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  (22)  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.  (23)  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.  (24)  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Joh 15:10 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Hence, it won't make sense to argue that Jesus would only want us to keep His commandments; not God's commandments. If Jesus would listen to His Father, He would want us to listen to His Father too. Hence, His commandments is what He heard from the Father too:
Joh 14:10 KJV  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works .. (24) He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Our names will be written in His book
if His laws are written in our hearts

Rev 20:15 KJV  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Heb 8:10 KJV  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb 10:16-17 KJV  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  (17)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Hence, we are no more under the schoolmaster (Gal 3:23-25) to have the law of God written on the stones; but we are still under Christ to have the law of God written in our hearts. His law does not save us; but His law does show whether we are written in the book of life.
The mark of the beast does the reverse. It can remove our names from the book of life if we allow it. Hence, after God has put His law into our hearts and minds, it is not the end of everything. We must still walk according to His laws in our hearts:
Eph 4:22-25 KJV  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  (23)  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  (24)  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  (25)  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

We must not only be saved; we must obey and beware
Many think that if they have been saved, they can never be 'unsaved'. They argue that the blood of Jesus or grace is so powerful that they can never be judged again even if they will sin or rebel with grace. But God has never said that if they are saved, they are forever saved, irregardless of what they will do or how they will sin in the future. On the contrary, God said that He could save and, afterward, destroy:
Jud 1:4-5 KJV  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (5) I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

1. God said it so clearly: If He would destroy them that believed not after saving them, He would destroy them that turn His grace into lasciviousness after saving them too. If He would destroy those who believed not (or sinned rebelliously) under His law, He would destroy those who sin rebelliously under His grace too. He would destroy any believers who turn His grace into lasciviousness, into 'cheap grace', or into excuse and justification for their sins, lawlessness, rebellion, lukewarmness, arrogance, hypocrisy, or carnal desires too. Thayer's dictionary explains lasciviousness clearly as "unbridled lust, excess, licentiousness, wantonness, outrageousness, shamelessness, insolence". When they turn grace into a tool for their carnal desires, they deny the Lord who bought them and behave like the ungodly men or non-believers too.
2Pe 2:1 KJV  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2. God said it so clearly again: They are among the people and among you, and they privily preach heresies after creeping in unawares. They are the messengers of Satan although they profess to know God and Jesus Christ. They are not the outsiders. They are in the churches and in the world. They are the hidden fallen believers or fallen stars who know God's grace and turn God's grace into lasciviousness.
a. When they exalt grace or the gift of God above God or as God, they could have done it (with a very well camouflaged Satanic propaganda) to bring the people to worship another 'god' or an 'idol' who can never judge them. And they will boast about 'him' so much that 'he' could satisfy or indulge all their lustful, covetous, carnal, licentious, outrageous, shameless, arrogant, immoral, rude, naked, and lawless conscience. They will give the false idea that God is created for men; instead of men being created for God.
They will try to argue that Jud 1:4-5 can never happen to them because they are the 'anointed stars or princes'. However, the more they argue or the more they justify themselves, the more they show to us that they have ungodly conscience and motives.
b. The serpent exalted the fruit when he told Eve that by taking it they could be as gods too. Today the serpent will still exalt any gift of Christ and tell you that by taking it you can be as Christ too ! However, he will not preach to you the traditional Biblical version of 'being like Christ' in humility, suffering, and obedience; but the abominable version of 'being like Christ', 'little christs', 'little gods', or 'superstar' with God's attributes, power, anointing, wisdom, glory, majesty, sovereignty, and prosperity. The devil may not tell you to be God who is omnipotent, omniscience, or omnipresence, but he will tempt you to have the increased lust for Godhood in power, prosperity, and glory by taking 'something' from him.

Commands and warnings are part of the Bible
Commands and warnings are God's words. But many try to argue that Jud 1:4 is not a warning about the abuse of grace or turning of grace into lasciviousness. They argue that grace can never be abused or perverted to become a license to sin because grace is not a license to sin. I will tell them,
1. No one says that grace is a license to sin; but
2. grace can be turned into a license to sin
I don't know how you can twist and explain it so that everyone misunderstood what Jud 1:4 says. Isn't a clear simple warning that grace can be turned into unbridled lust, lasciviousness, excess, licentiousness, wantonness, outrageousness, shamelessness, or insolence (according to Thayer's dictionary). Can you explain why there are many simple and clear warnings against the turning of grace, the abuse of grace, or sinning with grace in other Bible verses too; not just in Jud 1:4?
Rom 6:1-2 KJV What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  (2)  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Heb 10:26-29 KJV  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  (27)  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  (28)  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  (29)  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
The Bible simply warns against using the grace of God to keep on sinning.

Many will still argue that they can never fall because of grace. They argue that BELIEVERS CAN NEVER FALL.
1. A command for us to obey - I will tell them: If we can never fall, it is meaningless for Jesus to give the following command to us. It is a command because there is the consequence of being a fallen branch if we do not obey. It is like the Ten Commandments which we must obey, or else we can be judged for rebellion or lawlessness. When Jesus told us the consequence if we do not abide in Him, He has also given the judgement: Joh 15:4-6 KJV  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  (5)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  (6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

2. A warning for us to beware - I will tell them: If we can never fall, it is meaningless for Jesus, Paul, Jude, and Peter to warn us about the false prophets too (Mat 7:15-23, Act 20:28-31, Jud 1:4-5, 2Pe 2:1).
Act 20:28-31 KJV Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  (29)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  (30)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  (31)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Paul, Jude, and Peter warned the believers in their churches because they knew that there were ignorant believers who might be drawn away by the false prophets or wolves. But can you guarantee and say that there are no ignorant believers or Christians in your churches? No, if there are still ignorant believers or ignorant people in your churches, there would be the possibility of they being fallen or drawn away. Please think again, If all the Apostles would warn the believers about the danger of being fallen, do you think that they would tell the believers that they can never fall, never die, or never be judged? No. Hence, you are required to command and warn the believers if you are a preacher. However, if you keep arguing that you or your believers can never fall, you are arguing against the command and warning of the Lord above. You have denied the Lord.

I have heard a certain preacher who interpreted 'turning of grace into lasciviousness' in Jud 1:4 as 'removing of grace'. I don't know how he could turn and change it to mean that. Obviously he believe that grace can never be turned into lasciviousness.  I will ask him, You may interpret 'turning' of grace in Greek as 'removing' of grace, but how do you explain the words 'into lasciviousness' which come from another Greek word(s)? Isn't it clear that the word 'removing' cannot join the word(s) properly to form the full sentence with 'lasciviousness'?
l will tell him, Sorry, your attempt to change the words of God in the Bible fail again. I still believe that the translation by the King James Version is correct to warn us about the 'turning of grace into lasciviousness'; not 'the removing of grace'. If you were right that the Jud 1:4 KJV has been translated wrongly as 'turning of grace into lasciviousness', it is a serious mistake which can cause us to throw away the whole KJV Version and all the Bible versions (eg. LITV, MKJV, NKJV, ASV, ISV, NIV, RSV, NLT, .. and etc). And this means that all of us including all the Bible scholars must now consult you for a more accurate meaning of the Bible. This is ridiculous. However, if the KJV version is correct to translate Jud 1:4 as God's warning against turning grace into lasciviousness and you are preaching grace as lasciviousness, be afraid of God's judgement.
I will ask him, Did you preach against repentance and say that it is an Old Testament doctrine? If you did, you have turned repentance into a vain doctrine too? Did you preach against God's law and say that it is useless? If you did, you have turned His laws into something of none effect too. Now, please think, if you could turn repentance into a vain doctrine or turn anything into something else, you could turn the grace of God into anything too. If God's warning is true about the possibility or danger of turning anything into a false imitation or something else, we should just take heed, right? We should be diligent, instead of being ignorant, right?
2Co 11:13-15 KJV  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  (14)  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  (15)  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
You may tell your believers to explain away everything, including all God's warnings and commandments, and enjoy sweeter sleep at night, but we won't take a chance.

How to keep a good conscience?
Act 23:1 KJV  And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
1Ti 1:5 KJV  Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1Ti 1:19-20 KJV  Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:  (20)  Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Paul still believed in having a good conscience. However, a good conscience can be easily corrupted or seared by ignorance. Many ignorant people think that, if sin is the transgression of the law (1Jn 3:4), the solution to sin problem is to remove all the laws or change the laws. Their logical thinking or human philosophy is that "if there is no law, there is no sin". However, will removing the law really solve the sin problem? No, without the law, there is still sin because sin is also lawlessness.
1Jn 3:4 LITV  Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
If lawlessness or removing the law can never remove sin, then the solution is still the need to know God's laws, the need to confess our transgression of His laws, and repent. Hence, assuming that we have no law or assuming that we do not need to confess any transgression against His laws will never lead us to true repentance. it will lead us to behave like the self-righteous Pharisees. It will lead to hypocrisy, arrogance, ignorance of God's laws, pseudo-repentance, lawless conscience, or seared conscience.
1Ti 4:1-16 LITV  But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons,  (2)  in lying speakers in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience .. (7) But refuse the profane and old-womanish tales. And exercise yourself to godliness .. .. (15) Give care to these things; be in these things in order that your progress may be plain in all. (16)  Give attention to yourself and to the doctrine; continue in them, for doing this, you will both deliver yourself and those hearing you.

To keep a good conscience, we must be decisive in obedience
I do not like to say it but I must say it: Many preachers today are not decisive in obedience to God's commandments. Like king Saul, many are afraid to be decisive in obeying God's commandments. Many twist and turn their words when it comes to obedience to God or obeying God's commandments. At one moment, they will tell you that they are no longer required to keep any commandments, but yet at another moment when they are confronted with the commandments of Jesus Christ, they would say that they will only keep the indicative part of His commandments; not the imperative or the 'do's and don'ts' part of His commandments. I will tell them, What's the problem? Just do it! You are wasting your time if you keep thinking of which part of the commandments to keep. Do you remember the two lawyers who asked Jesus, "Which is the great commandment?" and "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" (Mat 22:36, Luk 10:25). They knew all the commandments of God, but yet they were not willing to do all the commandments. Today many are still trying to question and argue about the need to obey God's commandments. I will ask them, Have you been in the army before? When your commanding officer said, "It is an order !" Do you argue with him or ask him, "Is it an indicative order or imperative order?" No, you have no time to think and your immediate response would be "YES, SIR" and immediate obedience. Hence, when Jesus gave the disciples the commandments:
1. to teach whatsoever He taught (Mat 28:19-20),
2. to preach repentance to all nations (Luk 24:47),
3. to call all sinners to repentance (Mat 9:13),
4. to pray (Luk 11:2-4), to repent (Luk 13:3-5) and to humble before God (Luk 18:14)
5. to be diligent and wise,
6. to watch and pray (as the watchmen)
7. to beware of false prophets (Mat 7:15-23)
8. to keep all His commandments (Joh 14:15),
9. to love thy neighbor (of a different race and even religion), and
10. to do and teach the Ten Commandments (Luk 10:26-37),
the disciples would never ask, "Is it an indicative command or an imperative command?" They just obeyed. They were not that smart to argue and ask many questions. But the false prophets will deliberately make everything confusing and difficult for the believers to obey God.

Self-defense can never keep a good conscience
If a preacher always says, "I am not a false prophet. I am vehemently against sin. I can never lie. I have no condemnation. I can never fall. I am the righteousness of God. I am not wicked. I am righteous. I am rich. I am very humble. I do not judge. I do not preach license to sin .. etc", we should know that it is not something normal. Something has become very wrong with the preacher. I live long enough to know that no preachers in the past need to repeat those words in self-defense before men. I did not find Hudson Taylor keep telling us that he was not a false prophet. I did not hear Billy Graham keep confessing that he is very humble. I did not hear Martin Luther keep saying that he did not preach license to sin too. So, if a preacher keeps confessing and defending himself on the pulpit or facebook, it shows that he has a problem with his conscience because he could be saying it, preaching it, or confessing it to assure himself and others that he has a good conscience. Many do not know that he does it repeatedly or 'positively' because he has a bad conscience. But when he tries to convince himself and others more radically and uses his 'positive' confession to attack those who do not feel like him or preach like him, it will backfire on him. It is because God's preachers will 'dissect' his 'positive' confession and expose all those 'worms', fruits, or bad doctrine which came from his bad conscience.
Mat 7:15-23 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? ..  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity:

1. False prophets have bad conscience because they are lawless. The false prophets would always say that they have been misunderstood or falsely accused too. They would say, "We have NEVER told people to shun God's commandments. We vehemently deny that we are lawless, we have never committed adultery, we never watch pornography, we never lie, and we are always humble. If God has forgiven all our lawlessness, how can we be lawless again? No, we have high regard for God's laws and commandments. We have good conscience."
I will tell them, Your 'high regard' for God's laws is a hypocritical way or excuse for you to say that God's laws have an 'unrealistic standard' which is too high for you. So, your 'high regard' for God's laws is just to ignore His laws or even speak evil against His laws. You do not have high regard for God's laws; you have negative regard for God's laws. You have forgotten how you have spoken evil against God's laws and commandments when:
1. you said that no one can keep a single law or commandment of God, and therefore, no one need to keep any law of God
2.you said that God's laws cannot save; they are all 'do good get good' or 'do bad get beat' principles which are useless for men
3. you said that law demands, grace supplies, and therefore, law can only bring self-effort and curses of law
4. you said that the Israelites were killed because they boasted for God's laws and therefore God gave them the laws to 'teach them a lesson'
5. you said that God had to build the ark of covenant to lock up His commandments so that His commandments could not come out and kill the Israelites
6. you said that Jesus taught about the commandments in His sermon to tell the people and His disciples that they would lose their eyes or limps if they would still keep God's commandments, implying that Jesus would never want His disciples to keep any God's commandments. I will say, This is your greatest lie! Why? If Jesus would not want us to keep any God's commandments, please explain why Jesus would say the following words:
Mat 4:4-10 KJV  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God .. .. (7) Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. ..  (10) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mat 5:19 KJV  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

2. False prophets are self-seekers when they have bad conscience. A false prophet is very self-conscious about himself. We can never imagine what he will do to himself to please himself or to please the 'image' of himself:
Rev 13:13-16 KJV  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,  (14)  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  (15)  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  (16)  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

3. False prophets are attention-seekers when they have bad conscience. The difference between a self-seeker and an attention seeker is: a self-seeker is one who does radical things on himself, whilst an attention-seeker is one who does radical things to get attention from others. Hence, a false prophet is both a self-seeker and an attention seeker. He would love to:
a. show or create images of himself, and
b. put it everywhere for others to know him too
Hence, we know that the beast is a false prophets because he shows these 'fruits' of the false prophets. Many false prophets will rise with bitterness after they were rejected by their traditional churches for believing in radical doctrine, lawless doctrine, or unrepentant doctrine. They felt condemned and yet they did not want to live in the shadow of their past. So, they will rise up with bitterness against their former churches and preach against the doctrine of their former churches. It may help many of them to regain their self image and confidence successfully. However, little will they realize that they are heaping coals of fire on their heads when they will also preach against the words and the laws of God.
Rom 12:20-21 KJV  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  (21)  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
The teaching of the Lord is always doing good to others including our enemies. However, if we do the reverse and we do it on our God's preachers, we will heap coals of fire on ourselves.

4. False prophets are power-seekers when they have bad conscience. One of the fruits of the false prophets is their love for power and fame. They know people means power. If they have people, they have power. They may say, "We love Jesus only. We have no love for power. We are very humble .. etc" But when they were questioned and asked to explain their bad doctrine, they will immediately bring out the size of their congregation. They would say, "Who are you? Have you SAVED any souls? How big is your church? Please shut up." They have riches and legitimate power to hire bodyguards and commercial services to stop anyone from getting near them, speaking to them, writing to them, or even blogging about them. We know that bodyguards are necessary for the President of the country. But when we start to see bodyguards becoming a necessity for the pastors too, we need to reflect. Either there is something wrong with the law and order of the country or there is something wrong with the pastors. Hence, the false prophets may say that they do not love power, but they love to show their power whenever they cannot answer God's preachers. They may say that they can NEVER be affected or condemned by any comment, criticism or rebuke, but they will keep saying that they are condemned by God's preachers and that you must listen more to them instead. Hence, false prophets are liars and they are so desperate to protect their good image that they will lie constantly, 'rationally', 'positively', and 'legitimately'. This is one of the reasons why they need to speak and preach constantly and positively to assure themselves and others that they have good conscience.

5. False prophets lie when they have bad conscience. They would tell us that they never lied; but they exaggerated. They will say that even if they lied, God would have forgiven them because Abraham lied too. Hence, they love to preach the Old Testament like a fantasy, because when they exaggerated, no one dare to accuse them of lying. For example, they would say that because the Israelites were not 'feeble' after taking the passover lamb and they experienced supernatural strength to walk thousands of miles without wearing off their shoes, we who take the holy communion should be healed of all our sicknesses too. I will tell them, I do believe in miracles, but I do not believe in exaggeration. Will you explain that the opening of the Red Sea was possible because  of taking the passover lamb too? Will that be applicable to us too?
They may say, "Oh, only the eating of the passover lamb is supernaturally and physically applicable to us for healing; but the opening or crossing of the Red Sea is only spiritually applicable to us. Probably it could mean a new opening in your career path or a job promotion. It could mean going oversea for a holiday too". Opps! LOL,  I will tell them, Brilliant. So, you are now setting all the precedence to show us when the Old Testament stories are applicable to us and when they are not applicable to us, according to what you say? You are showing us that it will depend on your own assumption or our own assumption? You are stretching on your own exaggeration; not on God's words. I don't think anyone should listen to you. If God has never said that eating the passover lamb or eating the Holy Communion will heal your body, we don't say it. We don't add anything we like into His words. If every preacher can just add anything they like, any of their assumption, exaggeration, or lies into His words, the Lord's Holy Communion or any Bible fantasies would be able to make us into a superman or billionaire. This is unbelievable.
If anyone tells me that I preach too much law which is too rigid for him, I will tell him, I preach the law of God not because I love to be rigid or inflexible, but because I love righteousness and hate lawlessness. I could be flexible if I wanted to. But I would just prefer to show the Bible verses which support our position against lawlessness (without exaggeration):
Mat 7:15-23 LITV  But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.  .. (23)  And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"
Mat 13:41 LITV  The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness.
Mat 23:28 LITV  So you also indeed outwardly appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Mat 24:12 LITV  And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.
2Th 2:7 LITV  For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he is holding back now, until it comes out of the midst.
Heb 1:9 LITV  You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beside Your fellows."
1Jn 3:4 LITV  Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

6. False prophets are false prophets when they have bad conscience, and bad conscience is from lawlessness. I have said earlier that false prophets have bad conscience when they do not have the law of God or they are 'lawless'. False prophets are not necessarily wicked people. They could be 'nice' people with compassion for others. However, they could be so blinded by bad conscience or 'lawless' conscience that they become easily offended by any law or any teaching of law. They become easily agitated when they do not meet any 'gracious' people who must fit their expectation. Their behaviors or attitudes could be attributed to an unhealthy perception or past unpleasant perception of a certain law, demand, rule, regulation, or chastisement. Naturally, their teaching will become bitter against the law of God too:
Heb 12:7-17 KJV If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?  (8)  But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons .. .. (14) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:  (15)  Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;  (16)  Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.  (17)  For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Many of us think that bitterness can only rise from within a wicked man or hateful man. However, Peter saw that bitterness and wickedness could rise from greediness, unrighteousness, or lawlessness within a unrepentant believer too.
Act 8:18-24 KJV  And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,  (19)  Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.  (20)  But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  (21)  Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.  (22)  Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.  (23)  For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.  (24)  Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
According to Thayer's dictionary, 'iniquity' in v(23) above could be unrighteousness, injustice, or a deed violating law and justice too. The Psalmist said in line with Heb 10:16 that we can have the cleansing of our ways if we have His laws or commandments too:
Psa 119:9-11 KJV  BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.  (10)  With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.  (11)  Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Heb 10:16-17 KJV  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  (17)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
