Is there a mark for the true believers?

Continued from "The error of the lawless
10. Is there a mark for the true believers?"

Is there any remaining prophecy which will come true in the future ?
  • Rev 13:14-18 KJV  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  (15)  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  (16)  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  (17)  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  (18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
  • Rev 12:15-17 KJV  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  (16)  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  (17)  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
He will spill out false doctrine like a flood and it will cause many from the churches to fall from their steadfastness and carry them away before he could be defeated by the 'sword' of the Lord.
  • 2Pe 3:14-17 KJV  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.  (15)  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;  (16)  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.  (17)  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
I will tell them, You could deceive the people by saying that the book of Revelation is not for them. But you can't deceive us when you said that your gospel will be spread to every corner of the earth. Yes, this is a prophecy which you have fulfilled in the book of Revelation even if you would deny it knowingly or unknowingly. If you believe in the prophecy of the Revelation, how can you believe it only partially when the Lord wanted you to read and preach His prophecy in full, without deceitfulness:
  • Rev 14:6-12 KJV  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,  ... (11)  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  (12)  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  • Mat 24:14-15 KJV  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  (15)  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
If we believe in the preaching of the gospel to all nation, we will believe the full prophecy
Can you see what is the prophecy that will come true? Yes, the gospel will be preached to every nation, but so is the beast or lawlessness too.
I don't know what kind of anointing, the beast or the error of the lawless will have, but I do know that Jesus had prophesied about their anointing.
They will call themselves 'the anointed ones', 'Christs', 'the blessed ones like Christs', the 'Benjamins' who suck in the wealth of the ungodly, the 'As He is, so am I' confessors, the 'I will.. I will..' boasters, or the persecuted ones who are like Christ .. There it goes .. They will call themselves anything which will convince the greedy believers whose eyes are on prosperity and success. They may argue that their eyes are forever focused on Jesus alone, but God knows if they are genuinely seeking the righteousness of God. They may boast that they love Jesus, confess Jesus, and think Jesus radically, but it is clear to us and even to the eyes of non-believers that they are not really focusing on Jesus - they are focusing on the Mammon that is behind the name of Jesus.
  • Mat 13:22 KJV  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
  • Heb 3:10-14 KJV  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.  (11)  So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)  (12)  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  (13)  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.  (14)  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
All their arguments and explanation of how much they seek God's kingdom and righteousness in Matt 6:33-34 are just empty confession. They may think that only unbelief on the grace of God is sin. But I will tell them, Twisting and changing the commandments and teaching of the Lord is not only an act of unbelief, it is rebellion. It is not grace. Please think, If someone really thinks that you are his master, will he say something or do something that is different from yours? Never. Will you believe that he is a good disciple if he argues that he needs to change your words or teaching because he dreamed that you told him to change your words or commandments into something more 'gracious' ? Similarly, there will be many believers who will argue with the Lord in that day:
  • Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? ..  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
  • Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  (48)  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood (false doctrine) arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)

What is the mark of a true believer?
If the Bible has warned us about the mark of the beast, the Bible would tell us the mark of a true believer also. I have said earlier that 'being anointed' is no longer the sign of a true prophet". Many will ask, "But what is the sign now?" I will tell them, We do not need to look for the sign of a true prophet today. We just need to ask ourselves, Do we have the sign of a true believer? We can find it in words of the Lord in the last days, in the book of Revelation alone:
  • Rev 12:15-17 KJV  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  (16)  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  (17)  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
  • Rev 14:11-13 KJV  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  (12)  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  (13)  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. ('Those who died from henceforth' may not be those who were killed in the past, but those who will die from now on, after being persistent in keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Henceforth (from now on), keep the commandment and faith of God)
  • Rev 22:4-7 KJV  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.  (5)  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.  (6)  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.  (7)  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. ... (14)  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. .. (16)  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  (17)  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Many will still ask, "How do we know that His name is in our foreheads?"
  • Heb 8:9-13 KJV  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.  (10)  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:  (11)  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.  (12)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.  (13)  In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Do we still need the false prophets to interpret it for us if we can find it so clearly written in the Bible? I am sure they will twist the word of God and try to show us that the mark of a true believer is something else, or something which they could derive from other Bible verses. Yes, it may sound 'biblical' but it would become the 'twisted word of God'; it would be no longer God's command or God's word; it could be lie. Without keeping the word or command of God, man shall surely die - man shall not live.
  • Gen 2:16-17 KJV  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  (17)  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.  Gen 3:4 KJV  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
  • Mat 4:4 KJV  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
