Mat 24:23-26 KJV  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
 (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.  (25)  Behold, I have told you
before. (26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the
desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
It
is no doubt a double confirmation from the Lord. What He said is quite
the contrary to what most preachers say today. Most preachers would tell
us to believe whatever they say, especially whatever they preach
'positively' or 'radically' from the Bible. They always add the prefix
of "Hear ME", "Don't judge", ".. because I'm a GRACE preacher", "I'm very humble .." to what they say.
Of
course, Jesus would want us to believe everything from the Bible; but
not every preacher who preaches radically or hypocritically. Please
think, Are we cynical if we test or judge what they said with the words
of God? No. However, if they are afraid to pass the test of sound words,
and therefore, always try to lie that they are misunderstood,
misjudged, or 'persecuted' at the slightest correction or disagreement
from other churches or fellow preachers, they are very likely the false
christs or false prophets that Jesus has warned us about.
Of
course, false prophets can preach the words of God too, in fact, much
better than many of us. They can preach grace too, and expound on how to
believe 'effortlessly' under the new covenant; no one can argue with
them. But they have no Spirit of Christ. It is certainly not easy for
the sinners, especially those who are still walking in the flesh, to
detect whether the false prophets have the Spirit of Christ. Those who
walk in the flesh do not have the Spirit of Christ to follow the words
of Christ:
Rom 8:2-10 KJV  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  (3)  For what the law
could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in
the flesh:  (4)  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in
us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  (5)  For they
that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that
are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  (6)  For to be carnally
minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  (7)
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be.  (8)  So then they that are in the flesh cannot
please God.  (9)  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so
be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ,
he is none of his.  (10)  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead
because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Who
are those who still walk in the flesh or have no Spirit of Christ? Of
course, the sinners; but they include also the believers and the false
prophets who find it hard to delight in the law of God or to keep the
fight of resisting the flesh and the law of sin and death; they cannot
be subject to the law of God. But those who have the Spirit of Christ,
though they may fall, they will still rise, serve the law of God with
their minds, and kill, starve, or crucify the desires of their flesh
under the law of sin and death:
Rom 7:22-25 KJV  For I delight in the law of God
after the inward man:  (23)  But I see another law in my members,
warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to
the law of sin which is in my members.  (24)  O wretched man that I am!
who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  (25)  I thank God
through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Hence,
false prophets can never understand the Spirit of the law of God. They
will make people misunderstand the words of God, and mislead the people
with a different version of the gospel which is effortless; but without
the Spirit. It could be a gospel which is full of the positive words
from the Bible; but it has 'no doctrine', 'no law', and 'no
commandments' of the Lord. To patch up these 'holes' which they have
created for many years (in their past sermons and videos), they may
resort to deceptive tricks to deny, change, hide, manipulate, tamper, or
re-define some or all of their messages. However, this will only show
to us that they are more 'lukewarm' than the lukewarm believers or
carnal believers. It will show that their 'waterless' doctrine that is
tossed to and fro like the raging waves, or 'hot and cold' approaches on
God's doctrine are more disgusting than any sin or falsehood. They are
vomits:
2Pe 2:17-22 KJV  These are wells without water, clouds
that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is
reserved for ever.  (18)  For when they speak great swelling words of
vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much
wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
(19)  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants
of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought
in bondage.  (20)  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the
world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they
are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with
them than the beginning.  (21)  For it had been better for them not to
have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to
turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.  (22)  But it is
happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Jud 1:12-13 KJV  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds;
trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by
the roots;  (13)  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
1Ti 4:1-2 KJV  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,
that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  (2)  Speaking lies in
hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Hence,
Jesus tells us not to believe them even if they can repeatedly confess
His name to convince us that they are 'Christs' (or the anointed ones).
If they preach like the 'raging waves' or the 'ding dong bells', they
are not from Jesus Christ; do not believe them. They may claim that they
are in the desert or in the secret chamber of God, and therefore, they
are more anointed than us and that they can pray that there is no rain;
believe it not. Their prophecy is not from God. It could be a clever
trick which makes the ignorant people believe that their words are God's
that can change the world, and therefore, they are more anointed than
other preachers when they are actually 'false prophets' (or wolves) !
BTW, please think, If you are in the desert, do you need them to pray
that there is no rain?
Similarly you do not need them to pray
that you will prosper too if you can prosper by the words of God. You do
not need them to pray that you can receive more grace if you are
already under grace. You do not need them to pray that you are saved
from the earthquakes or hurricanes if you are staying in the countries
that have no earthquake or hurricane. You do not need them to pray for
you; you need to hear and understand the words of Jesus Christ.
