Are there preachers who preach against the word of God?

W71. Are there preachers who preach against the word of God?
Very likely there were people who tried to destroy or corrupt the Bible during the early churches. But today no people will do that any more. They know that they cannot destroy the Bible or preach against the Bible, but they will do it subtly by preaching or teaching against the word of God. Ironically, they are not the atheists of the world who hate Jesus Christ; they are the preachers in our churches who call themselves the anointed ones.
Many preachers may not preach against God, but they will preach against the word of God. They may not preach against Christ, but they preach against the word or doctrine of Christ, and they know how to preach it evasively, so that when we try to correct them, they will turn back and say that we have falsely accused them and that we are too legalistic or careful about the doctrine and the law of God. They will bring all kinds of definition and confusion about the word, doctrine, or law of God, confuse the believers, and argue against every law or teaching of Jesus Christ.

How would a preacher preach against the words of God?
A preacher who preaches against the words of God must be someone who preaches the words of God. Of course, a religious preacher of other religions can never preach against the word of our God if he just preaches about himself, his own religions, or his gods. The Bible spoke of the three places where the devil would preach the words of God to tempt us: the garden, the wilderness, and the churches. So we know that the devil will not preach to the people of the world; he will preach to us. He preached:
1. to Adam and Eve in the garden and
2. to the people of Israel and Jesus in the wilderness, and he will preach
3. to the believers in the churches in the last days too (2Co 11:3)
In another words, after the devil 'preached' against the commandment of God (Gen 2:16-17) in the garden, he will preach against the words and doctrine of Christ in the churches. Like what he had preached to Eve, it is not a license to sin; it is just something that will make you feel wonderful or safe, but unknowingly it will make the word of God (or the garment that covers you) disappear and make you naked again. If the serpent had preached against the word or commandment of God given to Adam, he will preach against the word or commandment of Jesus given to the churches. He may argue that he still preaches the words of God, but we know that he has removed all the important components of the law and commandment of God and re-present it to you. We know that he is still preaching lawlessness or a form of lawlessness in his hyper dimension where there is no law of God. Lawlessness in the eyes of God is not necessarily breaking all the laws to steal and kill or doing the criminal acts; it simply means faithlessness in His words or commands. So a preacher of lawlessness is not necessarily a wicked preacher who preaches license to sin or preaches against 'do good get good' principles; he can be just any preacher who does not believe in any God's law or commandments. He is able to preach a better 'truth' or wisdom, but he is a liar like the serpent. He may preach the word of God radically, but he preaches it in a subtle way to remove any word or law that speaks against him or judges him. He may boast that he is a friend to all the sinners (like Jesus to the sinners); but he is actually an enemy to those who teach and walk in righteousness (or teach and walk in the law of God).

Many preach the words of God with contradictions and hidden motives
They preach the words but soon you will notice that they always preach with MANY contradictions and unknown motives:
1. They claim that the teaching of the Ten Commandments, God's moral law, or the doctrine of Christ is the teaching of the law churches, 'do good get good' churches, or the Pharisee's churches; but ironically they still preach the law or principles in the Proverbs, Psalms, or Old Testament. They boast that it is their preaching and wisdom that really gives you the moral favors or riches.
2. They claim that the churches teach too much law (eg. the moral law) or too many do's and dont's (eg. the Ten Commandments) that the people become law-conscious and hypocritical; but ironically, they themselves are more hypocritical when they they try to preach more laws from the Old Testament or Psalms to prosper you. They insist that you can just keep thinking about all the law that prosper you; but not the moral law that tells you to do good.
3. They say that preaching the law and grace is preaching a mixture and that they are the only church who can preach pure grace without any consciousness of the law; but ironically, they tell you that it is a blessing for them to sing about the law in the Psalms and that singing about the law or principle will never be a mixture: https://youtu.be/q2pMoCV_EwQ?t=2m13s Of course, we can always sing about the law or commandment of God. But, if it is alright to sing about the Commandments, what's the problem if we think of the commandments or become conscious of the law of God ?
4. They claim that the law-based churches teach too much 'do good get good' law which is self-effort; but ironically they say that it is alright to meditate on the law of Psalm 1:1-3 day and night, and prosper yourselves effortlessly. They claim that they are the grace-based preachers who preach grace only; but we know that they could be the lawless preachers or hyper grace preachers who use grace only to preach something more subtle: a lawlessness like what the serpent had preached to Eve.
5. They claim that the Ten Commandments are obsolete; but ironically they say that you must love your wives and that the Ten Commandments could never teach you to love others. They claim that the Ten Commandments or God's moral law is the law of Moses, and therefore, it is the law that curses.
6. They claim that the gospel that they preach is extremely easy and good. They argue that their gospel is an easy gospel, let-go life, or effortless philosophy which was also preached by Jesus; but ironically, they say that His Sermon about the narrow way, the difficult path, the disciple's life to obey every commandment given by Him, and the willingness to take up the cross to die to their worldly desires is not for them.
7. They claim that the Ten Commandments and the Sermon of Jesus on what they need to do is too difficult for anyone and therefore no one can keep them, but ironically they believe that they can keep all the laws in the Psalms that prosper them and make them rich: https://youtu.be/XgnBQ60FeGo?t=2h43m3s.

There should not be contradictions in preaching the words of God
There should not be contradictions in preaching the words of God; or else it is preaching against the words of God. Now I will address those contradictions by asking them:
1. If you do not believe in God's moral law, you do not have God's morals or favors. What's the use of having your moral wisdom or riches when you do not have God's morals or commands to live out the riches that God has given you?
Psa 1:1-3 KJV Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (2) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
2. Do you know what are morals? According to the WordWeb dictionary, morals means 'motivation based on ideas of right and wrong'. It is like the law without which you can never know what is right and wrong. So without morals, you are like the beasts which can never have the Spirit of God to understand God's law or commandment. You will just do anything you like, based on your own arguments, justifications, concepts, desires, or thinking without any law or commandment of God.
3. Has the moral law become obsolete under Christ or under grace? No, only the law of Moses is obsolete because God will never change His moral law. If He has commanded that we cannot kill, He won't change it and say that we can kill now. So, if the moral law can never be obsolete, how can the Ten Commandments (which is the written moral law) be obsolete? Do you know that the Israelites were born as Israelites and that was by grace because they did not earn it; but yet they were still commanded to keep the Ten Commandments? Similarly, we are born again as God's children by grace and we can never do anything to get saved too, but yet we must still keep the law of Christ. Whenever Jesus told us to keep His law and commandments, did He tell us to keep the law of nature and the law of supply and demand, or just keep thinking of Him to prosper ourselves and worry less? No, keeping His law and commandments is simply keeping God's law which is the moral law, and doing it, not with our thoughts or sayings; but actions:
Joh 7:16 KJV Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. Joh 14:10-24 KJV Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works .. .. (12) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father .. (15) If ye love me, keep my commandments .. (24) He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
So Jesus is not just grace; He is full of grace and truth (doctrine and commandments for those who need to abide in Him).
4. What's the law in Psalm 1:1-3? Isn't it God's moral law or His do-good law? When did God give us that moral law in Psalm 1:1-3 which is the do-good-get-good law, the do-not-steal law, the do-not-do-wicked law, or the do-not-kill law? Do you know what happened to Cain after he killed Abel, and that there was an unwritten moral law for him ? Obviously Cain got what he sowed after he violated that law right from the beginning of the human race. That law was given long before the Israelite got the Ten Commandments or the written moral law. That law can never be the law of Moses or the law of circumcision. That law is the moral law that was still taught by Jesus. If the moral law or the Ten commandments were still taught by Jesus, they are now the law of Christ. So what's the problem if we still teach the moral law or the Ten Commandments as the law of Jesus Christ?
5. Isn't it contradictory to say that the commandment against adulteries is obsolete but the commandment to love your wives is not obsolete? So are you giving the message that you have the commandment to love your wives; but no more commandment against adulteries? Of course, the hypocritical preachers would say they believe only in the commandment to love their wives. But when they commit adulteries, they will just say that the Ten Commandments are obsolete, and their wives must forgive them because they are the righteousness of God under grace.
6. Are you sure that Jesus preached an easy gospel, let-go life, or effortless philosophy? Please read the words and teaching of Jesus again. You claim that you have the word of God and the heart for the people, but we know that you have the mind of the serpent (or the lawlessness of the serpent) and you will speak hypocritically with the word of God to provoke God or God's people. The serpent will only tempt God's people; not the sinners. When he tempts us, he will preach the same thing like what he said to Eve. I am not very sure what he had said to Eve to make her believe him, but I am sure that one of the things he convinced her was: If God did not condemn him or cast him into hell, God would not punish her too if she disobeyed or sinned like him. Today many still preach the same lie using the name of Christ or grace.
7. Yes, it does not make sense to preach any law or commandment if no one can keep a single law. But, if all the law including the law of Christ in the Sermon on the Mount is obsolete, does it make sense to teach the law in the book of Psalms or Proverbs? No, we know why the lukewarm believers or tongue-twisting preachers are more disgusting than the wicked or lawless people and why Jesus would judge them as the wicked:
Rev 3:15-16 KJV I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. (16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
So the root problem of the hyper-law or hyper-grace preachers is not because they are hyper-law (like the Pharisees) or hyper-grace (like the false teachers), but because they are hyper-hypocritical. A tongue-twisting preacher will change his clothes like changing his doctrine. He may deceive the carnal believers who look at the surface of what can prosper them, excite them, or give them good life, but he can never hide from the Lord who discerns his motives even though he may change his clothes, doctrines, or 'skins', like the chameleons:
Rev 16:13-16 KJV And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. (14) For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (15) Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (16) And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Obviously we are living in the end time in the book of Revelation where the analogy does not refer to the physical wars among the nations; but a spiritual war that has already started in the spirit realm. Of course, it does not make sense to talk about all the exciting wars among the nations without the warning of the false doctrine or false prophets who will try to remove our wedding garment. Obviously the physical wars, missiles, or computer chips are not something that can remove our garments; only the wars in the spirit realm and the corruption of God's law in our hearts can remove our garments.

Many preach the words of Christ with contradictions and hidden motives too
When the Lord said with the parables or analogies that there are people who will be judged at His 'bayma' seat, cast out from His presence, or spue out from His 'body' (churches), He was not referring to the sinners of the world; but the believers, servants, or children of the kingdom who are in the churches. Do you notice who were cast out in the following Bible verses:
Mat 5:13-14 KJV Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 7:15-23 KJV Beware of false prophets, which come to you .. (19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire .. (21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven .. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not .. (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 13:40-42 KJV As therefore the tares are gathered .. (41) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom .. (42) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth ..
Mat 13:47-50 KJV Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea .. (48) Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. (49) So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, (50) And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 18:6-9 KJV But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (7) Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! (8) Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. (9) And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire (Do you notice the difference in application when this is compared with Mat 5:29-30?)
Mat 18:31-34 KJV So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. (32) Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: (33) Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? (34) And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Mat 21:12-13 KJV And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, (13) And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Mat 22:9-13 KJV Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. (10) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. (11) And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: (12) And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (13) Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Do you notice that, if a preacher can go into the highways and byways to get many into the kingdom of God, but what's the point if he (himself, alone, one person) has no garment?)
Mat 25:29-30 KJV For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. (30) And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:11-32 KJV Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. (12) But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. (13) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (14) For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, .. (29) For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. (30) And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (31) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Rev 3:16 KJV So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 12:10 KJV And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:17 KJV And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ .. .. (14:18-19) And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. (19) And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Please tell me, Did Jesus say that everyone who receives His words, His grace, His healing, or His gospel is saved forever? No, there are preachers who may even preach His name or His words after they received grace or received His seed, but we will find out that they are the false preachers or hypocritical preachers who only want to prosper or exalt themselves. They are the seed in the parable of the sower which believed or received His words, but they cannot grow. Do you notice that the Bible verses above are all the words, parables, and doctrine of Jesus Christ and that those who were cast out were all His servants or believers; not the non-believers or the sinners of the world? If the serpent and his preachers want to deceive us, they would preach against His words. They would preach:
1. that all the words, parables, and doctrine of Christ are obsolete
2. that all the His teachings or warnings are not applicable to them
However, they are liars because we know that the words of Christ or His doctrine can never be obsolete. The words of Christ are the prophecies against them in the end time. His words will be fulfilled in the book of Revelation too. Hence, the moment they preach against any word, commandment, hard saying, or parable of Jesus Christ, they have revealed themselves as the 'goats', the 'tares', or the false prophets in the prophecies. They may preach against the words of Christ; but not the words of God in the Old Testament, Proverbs, or Psalms. Why? It is because they know that the Old Testament never say much about them, about their deception, about the judgement against them, or the necessity to beware of them. They know that they can twist the words in the Old Testament to preach their gospel of favor and prosperity. But the words of Christ say plainly and clearly about them and warn us repeatedly that there will be two great judgements:
1. one is the judgement of Christ before His bayma seat (or judgement seat)
2. the other is the judgement of God before His great white throne
One is the judgement and separation of all the believers between the true believers and the fallen preachers (or lukewarm believers) during the rapture, the other is the judgement for both the great and small (Rev 20:11-12) including the remnants of believers who got saved after the rapture. There are no other judgements besides these two judgements. The judgement is not done at the heaven's gate where, many believe that, the angels will decide who can enter and who cannot; neither is it done at the cross where, many believe that, the believers are all assured of their salvation too. Obviously the false prophets who preach about their smiling God or Jesus would be terrified to know that there is still a 'judgement' for them at the bayma seat of Christ (2Co 5:10). I am not surprised that they will define 'bayma' seat of Christ as only a 'reward' seat or 'mercy' seat for everybody where there is no serious judgement. I will tell them, Please study your Bible again, the word 'bayma' is just a Greek translation for 'judgement'. It has no other meaning. So you can never use the Greek tradition or your own assumption to add meaning to it. It is ridiculous to define it as the 'mercy' seat when the word 'bayma' was a translation for judgement from what Jesus preached in Aramaic or Hebrew. It doesn't matter whether the face of our Judge is a smiling face or angry face, or His judgement is a gracious judgement or severe judgement, the important thing is to know whether we obey His words, know His doctrine, take heed to His warning, and have the 'garment' (Mat 22:11) when we see His face.
There are now many false prophets or fallen preachers who preach against the words of Christ. We do not have to look far into the future to know who they are or what they will preach to create the 'effect of falling away' as prophesied in 2Th 2:3; it is because they are already here and they mount the biggest attack or provocation against the three major teachings of the churches, to differentiate themselves, or to distant themselves from the major traditional doctrine of Christ on: a. Law, b. Grace, and c. Sin:

a. Law
They preach strongly against 'law' but they are careful enough not to preach against the law of Christ or other God's commandments so they can turn back to say that those who rebuke them, correct them, or point out their mistakes are 'the elder brothers' or 'the jealous brothers' who falsely accuse them and judge them. They like to preach against the law of Moses, circumcision law, Pharisee's hypocrisies, or Jewish law when they know that most of the churches are not preaching it or keeping it. However, in order to arouse criticism, confusion, and unrest in the churches, they deliberately choose to attack and preach against the Ten Commandments and the commandments which tell us to love others and do good. They know that the churches cannot keep quiet and ignore their provocation but will argue with them because the churches know that the Ten Commandments or the laws to do good are still the words of God. The law and commandments of God are still the Lord's basis of teaching and doctrine to us (although the Lord's standard is much higher). Obviously they know that, although:
1. the churches do not keep the law of Moses to do the ceremonies or the works of the law,
2. the churches still keep the law of Christ, the law in the Psalms and Proverbs, the Ten Commandments, and the law of God to do good:
Joh 7:16-17 KJV Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. (17) If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself (see Mat 4:4, Luk 18:18-20, Joh 14:15, Joh 15:10, ... etc)
So I believe that both Mary and Martha were actually told to hear and do (not just hear and hear) His laws and commandments too. See Luk 10:25-28, 37, 41-42. The Bible clearly shows that we still need to keep the word or doctrine of Christ which includes the Ten Commandments, but the hyper grace preachers who preach against the Ten Commandments would tell the people that the word or doctrine of Jesus is obsolete. It seemed that they cannot preach a Jesus who still teaches God's commandment. We now know why they would always argue that the doctrine of Jesus, the law of God, or the Ten Commandments are not for us; but for the Jews or for testing the Pharisees only. It is because they know that the preaching against the law AND THEN against the Ten Commandments is a PERFECT combination or strategy to provoke us and arouse the most confusion, unrest, or even uproar in the churches so they can capitalise on it, spread the 'law-free revolution', merchandise it (2Pe 2:3), and boast about how much they can preach grace or preach like Jesus; but we know that they never really preached the doctrine of Jesus. Their revolution or provocation which caused the UPROAR was always quoted out of context when they tried to impress the people that they had preached or suffered like Jesus and the apostle:
Mat 26:4-5 KJV And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him. (5) But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an UPROAR among the people.
Act 20:1 KJV And after the UPROAR was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
So do we accuse the churches of being under the law if the churches today still preach the law of Christ, the law of God, or the Ten Commandments? No, the Apostles had settled the issue or the UPROAR long time ago when they said to the Gentiles believers that they might not keep the law of Moses, but they must still keep the law of God, the Ten Commandments, and the law of Christ. Please go back and read Act 15:5, Act 15:24, Act 15:28-29, Eph 6:1-3, Rom 13:9, Heb 8:10, 10:16, and the Bible verses below:
1Co 9:21 KJV To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
Psa 1:2-3 KJV But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
So being under grace does not mean thinking of 'pure' grace with no more law. We notice that the Bible had never condemned the law until the Pharisees started to preach it radically, or until it was preached merely as a provocation against the Messiah. There was no complaints about the law which had served the Jewish community well, until the Pharisees started to corrupt, ritualize, and radicalize it to oppose the Messiah or the word of Christ as prophesied in the Bible:
Mal 3:1-15 KJV Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. (2) But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: (3) And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness .. .. (13) Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? (14) Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? (15) And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
Act 15:5-24 KJV But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses .. (23) And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: (24) Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment ..
So it is for this reason that Paul wrote the letter of Galatians to tell the radical law believers (or the legalistic Pharisees) that the gospel is not all about law or 'pure' law because there is grace. However, Paul would still give serious rebuke to the radical grace preachers if they preached the gospel as 'pure' grace or preached it as a 'provocation' without any law too; they could be worse if they set up the wickedness, lawlessness, or provocation against Christ like those prophesied in Mal 3:14. That is why, in Act 15:28-29, the Apostles wrote to the people that, while abolishing the law of Moses, they must still keep the law of God in the Bible or Psalms, especially the Ten Commandments of not to worship any idols or other gods ..

b. Grace
Naturally, hyper grace preachers would preach hyper grace, but ironically, most of them would not admit that they have preached hyper grace. So, when a hyper grace preacher tries to bring 'misunderstanding' or confusion to the churches and then tries to deny that he has preached hyper grace, what should we say to him? We just tell him to remember what lie he had made when he preached that God had told him to preach 'grace' RADICALLY (in a dream, in a vision, in a still small voice, in an audible voice, in a chime, in a cartoon, in a TV, in a room, in a humorous spirit, in exaggeration, in illusion, in insult, or in a lie? I can't remember which is which but I am certain that it cannot be GODLY if it is preached RADICALLY), and how he had accused the churches and exalted himself by saying that if they did not preach the gospel RADICALLY until everyone misunderstood it, they were not preaching the gospel of grace or the gospel that Paul preached. In that one sweeping statement, he might not realise that he had just 'swept' across the whole church history (from the first century to the twentieth century) to accuse all God's people and pastors of all churches as not preaching the right gospel (including the Bible scholars or men of God eg. James Strong, Thayer, Hudson Taylor, John Wesley, John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, .. and etc who were more concerned to preach the gospel in doctrinal soundness and simple clarity than in exciting exaggeration, weird typology, wild imagination, Old Testament fantasies, New Age philosophies, positive mental peace or beliefs, or radically extreme grace). We should tell him to use common sense (instead of radical sense):
Firstly, if Paul was the only apostle who preached the gospel of grace because he could preach until everyone misunderstood him, what about the gospel that Jesus preached or the gospel that the other apostles preached? Did they preach a different gospel because they never preached until everyone misunderstood them? Are they legalistic preachers because they never preached grace radically or preached like you?
Secondly, if everyone misunderstood the gospel, how can it be the gospel of truth? How can anyone be saved if everyone 'misunderstood' the gospel or truth? If we need to lie or make everyone 'misunderstood' to be saved, our gospel can never be the gospel of truth: that's pure common sense. Sometimes, we can be saved by just pure reasoning; not 'pure' rubbish from those who want us to think like zombies or animals (sic):
Jud 1:8-11 KJV Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities .. (10) But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. (11) Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
2Pe 2:1-3 KJV But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (Do you notice that the false prophets were bought by the Lord and they were among us too? It means that they were Christians. I am not sure if they were already righteous or were the righteousness of God as they claimed, but I am sure that no one should boast before we can finish the course of our life: 2Ti 4:7)
Mat 24:23-26 KJV Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not .. (25) Behold, I have told you before. (26) Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
I would say, Believe it not even if they said it in the bathroom, in the TV, in the chime, in the signs and wonders, in the internet, in the chatroom, in the channel, in whatsapp, or in facebook ..

c. Sin
Most hyper grace preachers have realised the 'mistake' of making their wildest proclamation or provocation that 1 John 1:9 was not for the Christians or true believers and that it was for the agnostic believers. But now they are trying to contain the situation by saying that all 'the elder brothers' have misunderstood or falsely accused them. They say, "We are not against 1 John 1:9 because we are under grace, and if we are under grace, we would be humble enough to confess sins and confess that we are the sinners before God. We always confess it, but when we confess it, it is not necessarily to ask for forgiveness. We do not need to repent or confess our sins to be forgiven because God has already forgiven us. We just confess because we know that God has forgiven us. We think of it like saying sorry to our wives whenever we make 'mistakes', and know that they have forgiven us because they love us too.. they love us too much.. Unfortunately many people misunderstood us and they falsely accused us of preaching against 1 John 1:9."
I will tell them, Of course, if you said sorry to your wife because you only stepped on her toes accidentally, you do not need to kneel down to ask for her forgiveness or worry if she will forgive you or not. Of course, God may not tell you to say sorry for everything too (eg. if you make stupid mistakes or say the stupid things which are not sins). But, please think of your sorry if you committed adulteries. If you committed adulteries, would you just say sorry only, without any need to ask for forgiveness from your wife or God? Or would you just confess it for the sake of confession only, with no contrite heart or repentance? I don't think John would take his confession likely if you read his confession in 1 John 1:9 within the full context:
1Jn 1:8-10 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Do you notice that John never said, "If we are the sinners of the world or the agnostic believers, only then will we confess our sins"; instead, he simply said, "If we .. ourselves .. us.. our .." Obviously he stressed that everyone who sins (whether we are the sinners of the world, agnostic believers, the lawless one, or the saints) need to confess our sins. So none of us can insult God because of confession or because of too much sin confession which is from our heart.
I will tell them, The sinners could have misunderstood you; but God's people would never have misunderstood you because they knew your motive and mocking. Do you remember your 'humorous' illustration of how you said that you were afraid of dying in a sudden car crash before you could confess all your sins from 'a-z', and therefore, 1 John 1:9 is not applicable or practical at all? You labelled all those who teach 1 John 1:9 as stupid fools because they had made you confess like a fool before? However, do you know that confession is not enough? You may now maintain that you have confessed 1 John 1:9 because you confessed that you were a sinner under grace. You may beat your chest, humble yourselves before God, and even confess like the publican in Luk 18:13, but you may still be ignorant of the true meaning or spirit of confession in 1 John 1:9. Why? It is because John never told you to just confess like a parrot or a robot; John told you to confess with an attitude of repentance. It is certainly meaningless to confess anything (even the righteousness of God) if there is no attitude or willingness to turn away from sins.
Many just want to confess that they are the righteousness of God and fullstop, or just confess and quote 2 Cor 5:21 radically. They think that they are righteous if they can just confess it day and night. They think that if God had called them 'righteous' or 'holy', no one can call them otherwise. However, they have forgotten that the Pharisees had told the Jews that they should do likewise too. They told them that they would be holy or set free if they would just confess or say the right word - 'corban' (Mak 7:11). So, the confession of the Pharisees , the confession of 1 John 1:9, or the confession of 2 Cor 5:21 are still empty words if they are confessed without any spirit of repentance or obedience. Hence, if we say that the Pharisees or the Jews were hypocrites, we ought to know that we are no better too. If we say that the law preachers or Pharisees can fall from grace and come under the curse of the law because of wrong belief, similarly we can fall into sin, take the grace of God for granted, and lose our salvation too because of false repentance. So please do not just read 2Co 5:21 and confess your righteousness like a parrot or robot, please turn over to the next chapter immediately after 2Co 5:21. Do you notice that Paul beseeched that ye receive not the grace of God in vain too:
2Co 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2Co 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Do you notice that Paul began the next chapter with the words 'We then' immediately after 2Co 5:21? According to Strong's or Thayer's dictionaries, it could be interpreted as 'We but', 'We now', 'We also', 'We moreover' .. and etc; it is clearly a continuation of 2Co 5:21. Obviously Paul knew that there were believers or Corinthians who received grace or righteousness of God in vain. They might call themselves the righteousness of God, but they turned the grace or righteousness of God into licentiousness or unrighteousness (Jud 1:4), and sinned wilfully (Heb 10:29). If it was not true, Paul would not need to beseech us or warn us after saying that we are the righteousness of God (or we might be righteous).
Today many churches are still confused by the confession of hyper grace. They were told to confess only righteousness whenever they sinned or thought of sins. I will tell them, Please don't confess anything if you are not willing to repent. The Bible shows us that there are many who could confess their righteousness and many who might confess only their sins, but they all might not want to repent or know what repentance is. They do not want anyone to tell them: What is repentance? I do not have time to explain repentance in details now, but I can say that hyper grace preachers do not want to repent or know what is real repentance because:
1. They preach that repentance is just changing your mind only, changing your thinking from a negative opinion about God to a positive thinking, or just believing only
2. They argue that the word 'metanoia' or repentance in Greek is just changing your mind with no mentioning of sin or turning away from sin. They may use the Greek word to change the meaning of repentance, but Greek word is never the accurate translation for the whole Bible. I will ask them, Do you think that Jesus would preach repentance as 'metanoia' only or in Greek only? No, He might be preaching it in Hebrew or Aramic too. It is ridiculous to preach repentance as 'metanoia' only when Jesus had preached repentance as more than just a change of mind in many Bible passages: Mat 11:21 KJV Woe unto thee, .. for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
3. They say that under grace or under the new covenant, there is no more law, but I will tell them, If there is no more law, it is meaningless to preach repentance. If God did not give any commandment to Adam (Gen 2:16-17), would men still need to repent? No, men would never sin, and men would never need to repent too. Men would just believe. But, if Jesus would still call sinners to repentance, it means that all men must turn away from their sin and lawlessness, and that the gospel will still tell us to keep the law of God. However, I am afraid mos of the believers who listen to the hyper grace preachers to change their minds have only 'metanoia'. They insist that they have 'repented', however, we know that they will never acknowledge their sins, confess their sins, or turn away from their sins. They would only 'metanoia' and believe ('repent and believe') and get saved, according to the definition given by their favorite preachers.

There are preachers who argue against repentance; instead of preaching repentance
Today the hyper grace preachers are still arguing. They say, "Under the Old Testament, people need to repent first and then God will forgive them; but under grace, God had already forgiven us even before we repent. So we only need to preach grace; not repentance. Does anyone here clean yourself first before you take a bath? No. Similarly, today we do not need to repent or do anything; we just expect Jesus to clean us, purify us, make us righteous, and prosper us. He will do everything for us .."
I will ask them, Do you take out your clothings before you take your bath? Of course, yes. Taking out your clothings is not cleaning yourselves, but it is still necessary. Similarly, repentance is not cleaning yourselves. You can never clean yourselves by repentance, but you must still do it (or are ready to do it) before you can be continuously and totally cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Of course, we are not particular about the sequence: to repent first or to be cleansed first; however, we are particular if you preach a gospel that has no repentance.
I will tell them, Do you read the Bible? It says that God forgives us if we repent or confess our sins? Do you know that the repentance preaching of Jesus and 1 John 1:9 are still under the New Testament?
1Jn 1:8-9 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Mat 9:13 KJV But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Luk 24:47-48 KJV And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (48) And ye are witnesses of these things. (Do you notice that repentance and forgiveness of sins are supposed to be preached together? So it won't make sense if we preach only forgiveness without repentance)
Act 2:37-38 KJV Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Mar 1:14-15 KJV Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, (15) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
I will ask them, Why did Jesus say "repent, AND believe", not "repent OR believe" ? It is simply because 'Repent' and 'believe' are not the same. It means that all the sinners must repent before they can come to the Lord and believe. They must be called to repentance first, before they can really believe in word of Christ, take up their cross, abide in His doctrine, and follow Him. It means that no people can come to Him unless they repent. Hence, the sinners can never be a true believer if they only believe what they want to believe:
Luk 8:13 KJV They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Joh 6:11-66 KJV And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would .. .. (15) When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone .. (26) Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled .. .. (65) And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. (66) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Mat 18:31-32 KJV So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. (32) Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me..

There are three types of people in the churches who do not do the doctrine of Christ
They are
1. the preachers who do not preach what Jesus preached,
2. the believers who do not believe what He preached, and
3. the disciples who do not follow what He preached.
There are now many believers who might have believed and 'eaten' from Jesus. They boast that they could 'eat as much as they would'. However, they might not know that they are still boasting in unrepentant spirit and pride. Yes, they might believe but, like the believers in Joh 6:11-66, they only want a king who can satisfy all their desires or wants. They cannot see beyond the flesh or the physical realm, and understand the spirit in the gospel or doctrine of Jesus Christ. So they interpret everything based on their physical needs and carnal desires. They may confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, but in reality they only want a Servant or a superman who can serve them. They believe only in 'supply'; not in 'demand' or 'command' for them to do God's will. They believe that they are like the kings; not like other servants. They believe only in being served at all time. So they will start to behave like the wicked servant (or a 'spoiled kid') and boast against all other fellowservants or preachers too. Something is wrong if the fellowservants still keep quiet, or justify their boastful behaviours and agree with them that they are forever saved because they are forever forgiven, already under grace, or more favoured by God. Many may argue that they deserve grace or deserve to be forgiven just because they are under grace, because they are the sinners, because they keep confessing that they are righteous in Christ, or simply because they are favoured to get whatever they desire. I will ask them, Who told you that? The Bible never said that you deserve grace just because you are a sinner; it said that you will receive grace if you are a sinner AND you repent. Similarly, the Bible never said that you don't deserve grace just because you think that you are righteous too; but it said that you don't deserve grace if you think that you are always righteous AND you still sin without repentance.
Some of them may argue, "The parable of the wicked servant in Mat 18:31-32 above is not applicable to us because we are under grace; not under the law. Today every sinner deserve grace or would receive grace irregardless of whether they repent or not. Today, if we just believe, we can be the kings, princes, or children of God. We are the sons. But the slaves or servants are under the law. They must repent. That's why the preaching of Jesus was for everyone who were under law or who must repent. It was for the Jews or 'slaves' who must repent. It was a warning for them. However, repentance is not for us." I will tell them, Yes, precisely we are under grace, but it is because of the fact that we are all under grace, repentance and the parable of Jesus is more applicable to us than to those who were under the law. Under grace, all our sins are forgiven. So, when the lord forgave all the debts of the wicked servant, it is a picture of God forgiving us all our sins under grace too.
There is another picture of God's grace being given to a sinner who was caught in adultery (Joh 8:11). Do you say that that is not applicable to you too because it was for the woman or those who were under the law? No, you can never justify your argument by saying that the grace given to the wicked servant was under the law; but the grace given to that woman caught in the adultery was under the new covenant too. Both received grace for the forgiveness of their sins; the only difference is: the wicked servant could be a self-righteous servant or preacher who desired (expected for) it, whilst the woman was a sinner who never thought about it. Many preachers today argue that they can boast about grace or expect more super abundant grace (hyper grace) because they think that the more they can get grace, the more they will love God. I will tell them, No, did you read about the parable of the wicked servant? A person can receive a lot of grace, but it does not mean that he will really love God or Jesus Christ. You quoted His words or parable without even knowing the gospel that He preached. The focus of the gospel that Jesus preached is not thinking or boasting of more grace, more favours, more provisions, more righteousness, more salvation, more prosperity, or more blessings; but thinking of our inadequacy and remain grateful (humble) irregardless of how much grace we can get. If our focus is correct, it leads to the light; otherwise, it is vain boasting which leads to great darkness.
Obviously a preacher who says that we do not need to tell the sinners to repent will never preach the doctrine of Christ. He preaches his own doctrine, and he will very likely tell his believers that they do not need to fast and pray, keep God's commandments, confess their sins, take up their cross, do good to everyone, teach and train their children with a sound mind, or discipline themselves with self-control too. They will say that they are too blessed to be stressed or too immersed with grace that no one should teach them any principles, instructions, do's and don'ts, or efforts to do the will of God. Ironically, they do not know that they have completely lost their focus of doing the words of God:
Mat 6:22-24 KJV The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! (24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mat 7:21 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 6:22-24 is another instance when Jesus preached in figurative speech. When He said 'thine eye be single', it means your focus. It was a metaphor to keep the right focus:
Mat 18:9 KJV And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Mat 18:9 is not a hard saying which tells us to keep no more law; but a metaphor which tells us to keep God's law AT ALL COST. It means that, if our focus is corrupted, we should not hesitate to remove any part that causes the corruption. It also means a higher standard. We should read it within the context of the whole Sermon on the Mount where He told us to do more, walk the extra miles, and love our enemies. He did not preach an effortless gospel; but instead, a gospel that requires more effort, sacrifice, and commitment to be God's people:
Mat 5:46-48 KJV For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? (47) And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? (48) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
No wonder, some preachers wish that the whole Sermon on the Mount is obsolete and preach only a small portion of His Sermon for a care-free life (Mat 6:31-34). Yes, most of us are without sight, without focus, without light, .. and we are unable to see or comprehend everything that He preached. But thanks be to God, we can now see because He will give sight to those who know that they are 'blind':
Mat 9:29 KJV Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
Mat 13:16-18 KJV But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (17) For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. (18) Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower ..
Hence, not everyone can really hear or see; only those who have 'eyes'. However, does it mean that, if we can see now, we will boast? No, Jesus gave us many warnings about the false prophets who can still make us 'blind' again. There is a Bible analogy (metaphor) which shows that it can affect all the disciples, even Jesus' three most powerful disciples. It even incapacitated them and stopped them from praying:
Mat 26:43-45 KJV And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. (44) And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. (45) Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Mar 14:37-41 KJV And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? .. (40) And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.
Similarly, our 'eyes' will become heavy again just before He will come again. I believe that Jesus has given us enough warning about it, but only those whose eyes are open can really follow and understand the importance of all His warnings .. about the wedding garment, the parable of the sower, the wise virgins and foolish virgins, the wise servants and the slothful servant, and the sheep and the goats, the wheat and the tares, the rapture and the judgement, the rebuke for the churches in Revelation 3, the judgement of the false prophets in Mat 7:15-23, the warning of the false prophets who will come in three different instances: Mat 24:5, Mat 24:11, Mat 24:24, .. It means that the coming of the false prophets is eminent !
Rev 16:13-15 KJV And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
This is again A METAPHOR for the coming of the false prophets who will keep the eyes of God's people blinded and make them walk without the garments (or walk without seeing their nakedness) during the last days. I like to think of the above Bible passage as a metaphor for the three instances when God's beloved would be greatly tempted or persecuted by
1. the serpent (or the dragon) at the garden of Eden,
2. the lions (or the beast) during the early churches, and
3. the wolves (or the false prophets) during the last days

The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a 'passive' gospel for blessings only
The hyper grace preachers think that they could draw people because they are a type of Jesus, Paul, or Joseph who caused uproar, misunderstanding, or envies too. They preached many Bible characters, but it is always preached out of context to impress others that they are more anointed or favoured. They preached many Old Testament typologies with great lawless excitement and fantastic blessings, but they also preached many 'misunderstanding' or confusion about law, grace, and sin. However, today I will just explain and focus on their first confusion: about law.
They said that no one can keep a single law. So no one needs to keep the whole law. They argue that it is based on their interpretation of Jas 2:10. I will ask them to read it again. Does it mean, If no one is pure, no one needs to be pure? I admit that I am not pure either, but can we conclude that no one is qualified to teach anyone to be pure or to keep the law of God? No, all of us are not pure, holy, or perfect yet, but we still need to be pure and holy because God is holy:
1Pe 1:14-16 KJV As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: (15) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; (16) Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1Jn 3:2-4 KJV Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Do you notice that the words 'purifieth' and 'committeth' were deliberately written to show a clear contrast? Hence, I am certain that they were written as an active 'verb' to demonstrate an action or effort from OURSELVES; not from others. It means that, as we are saved or cleansed by the blood of Jesus, we OURSELVES have to be pure and holy in the process of sanctification through the Word or the Spirit of God too, and that, as we OURSELVES had transgresseth against His law, we OURSELVES should now turn back and walketh in His law, like before (like Adam and Eve before they fell in the garden of Eden, i.e. before they transgressed against His law). If we OURSELVES had transgressed against God, we OURSELVES have to turn back to God. We do not expect Jesus or grace to 'repent' for us. If we read the Bible, we will notice that all the words ('repent, be ye holy, purifieth yourselves, and walketh in His law') are active verbs. It simply means actions or efforts from OURSELVES; not from others:
2Jn 1:5-6 KJV And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. (6) And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it (I do not know why John wrote specifically to the lady. Perhaps, the lady, or the Eve's who always talk about love today, still need to know what is love if they really want to know how to walk with God).
Many argue that we can just walk in love; not in commandment, and that the gospel is all about love; not commandment. But, please read 2Jn 1:5-6 above again. Does it says we 'love' first or we 'walk' first? It says (from the very beginning that) we 'walk' first and then we have 'love'. Of course, it means that God's commandment must come first (in the beginning), and then we know what is love or how to love.
If God said that we need to be pure, His Word would still tell us to keep His laws or commandments too; we don't just push everything to Jesus and expect God to do it for us in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

There are three reasons why a preacher will preach against God's doctrine
I have elaborated on how the preachers would preach against the doctrine of Christ with regards to law, grace, and sins, but now I would explore further to talk about the reason why they would risk their 'life' doing it. I could think of the three reasons only:
1. They do it because of ignorance - They are ignorant but they are NOT innocently ignorant. They choose to be ignorant. They ignore the doctrine of Christ so that they can please the majority of the sinners or lukewarm believers. They think that they could do it to make more men happy and stress free if they could just ignore all the law and commandments of the Lord.
2. They do it because of carnal pleasures - They know that they can prosper more than other preachers if they preach something that is popular. They are not concerned if the sinners will repent or not; they are only concerned if the sinners will hear them, follow them, support them, become one of their inner-circle, and expand their ministries.
3. They do it because of bitterness - They could have been rejected by the traditional local churches when they started to rebel against the elders or the church authorities. They might have wanted to preach something more 'creative' or 'bizarre', but the church rebuked them strongly. As a result they had to leave with bitterness. So, from that day, they would preach against anything which the church preached not realising that they preached against the doctrine of Christ too. It could be so subtle that they do not realise that they are still preaching against the doctrine of Christ today unless we correct them with a strong rebuke:
Act 8:20-25 KJV But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. (21) Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. (22) Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. (23) For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. (24) Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. (25) And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
Sometimes, strong rebuke is necessary in the churches. Simon repented because of strong rebuke. Even Peter had to be rebuked too:
Gal 2:11-14 KJV But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. (12) For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. (13) And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. (14) But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
Some hyper grace preachers quoted Gal 2:11 from the new translation and interpreted that Peter was not a grace preacher because he was a hypocrite. I will tell them, I am not concerned if Peter was a hypocrite or a legalistic preacher. But that rebuke should be strong enough to bring Peter to repentance. I believe that Peter had repented because he still accepted Paul as a good brother:
2Pe 3:14-15 KJV Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent .. (15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you ..
I believe that Peter could serve the Lord with no bitterness against anyone because he repented. However, today I am not so sure about it if we rebuke certain preachers. If we rebuke them, will they be able to take it, or will they leave with bitterness? If they think that nobody can rebuke them except Jesus, perhaps there is still hope that they will repent. Jesus might appear and rebuke them in person or in their dreams (which is quite unlikely). But, if they think that Jesus can speak only gentle words like "ye men of little faith", or preach only a 'happy super gracious' God, they can never take any strong rebuke from anyone, even from the Holy Spirit. They would treat any strong rebuke or conviction of sins as condemnation and say that it is from the devil.

There are three types of preachers who cannot repent
Many will ask, "Are you kidding? How can there be preachers who do not repent?" I will tell them, No, I am not kidding. There are three types of preachers (or rather at least one preacher) who think that they cannot repent because:
1. they had blasphemous thought,
2. they had suicidal tendency, or
3. they had almost got admitted into a mental hospital
I am not exaggerating about this because I have heard one preacher who said that he had all the above problems because of repentance. He said that he used to think of repentance and confession of sins so much that he suffered great mental stress and injuries during his childhood days or his younger days as a believer. The blasphemous thought or guilt conscience was so intense that he had to mutter under his breath to confess his sins 24/7, had suicidal tendency, and finally got almost admitted into a mental hospital. Well, I believe that he did not exaggerate about it because, after his experience with those mental problems, he vowed to help those who are like him (who are 'stressed' by repentance or by the preachers of repentance). In fact, he has truly lived up to his vow by becoming a radical preacher who tells everyone not to confess or think too much of their sins or repentance. He would even say that 1 John 1:9 is not for the believers. I will tell him, I am just curious .., What would you say to the people of Sodom and Gomorrha? Would you say that repentance was not for them just because they had blasphemous thoughts like yours too?
I am not sure if there are many people or preachers who think like him and got into a mental hospital. But, I am very sure that there are preachers who do not repent and they are now preaching against repentance. They think that they had gone mad with blasphemous thought or had mental thoughts, and that, therefore, they are excused from repentance or from the conviction of sins.
I will tell them, I am not very sure if a person should repent because of suicidal tendency or mental sickness. But I am very sure that a preacher should repent if he has blasphemous thoughts. It is because I am certain that most of his blasphemous thoughts are actually 'lawless thoughts' or sinful thoughts. Why? It is:
1. because the Bible tells us that a person who has blasphemous thoughts would blaspheme God, blaspheme the Spirit of God, blaspheme the word of God, or blaspheme the commandments of God:
Rev 13:6 KJV And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
I read the above and wondered which silly preacher or false prophet would want to blaspheme a 'tabernacle' in the end time. But I immediately realized that a lying preacher, false prophet, or the lawless one might not really blaspheme the tabernacle; he might want to blaspheme 'what is inside' the tabernacle: ie. the law or commandments of God.
Rev 15:5 KJV And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened ... Rev 22:10-14 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. (11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. (12) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
2. because I have heard a certain preacher who insisted that he had gone mad because of the blasphemous thoughts; but, as soon as he had no more thought of God's law or the Ten Commandments, he could become well. So now he will only think of grace (or 'law-lessness'). He thinks that grace has made them repent from blasphemous thoughts or stopped him from having blasphemous thoughts.
The question is: Have those preachers who blasphemed God or God's tabernacle repented when they say that they are now the righteousness of God? I realize that the serpent never blasphemed God in front of Adam and Eve. Satan never blasphemed God in front of God too when God detected his thoughts and cast him out of His presence. So how do we know that a lying preacher blasphemes God even though he still preaches the word of God? There are two reason we know that he is still a living in blasphemy:
1. he keeps justifying himself with any words that he can find in the Bible without repentance. He needs to do it because he always feels condemned and he is still living in sins. The congregation that he draws has the same lawless unrepentant spirit too. That's why they need to keep saying that they cannot be condemned or they are forever righteous (no matter what they do). His doctrine is basically about the justifying of the lawless without any repentance.
2. he keeps thinking about lawlessness. Of course, he will not show lawless deeds to expose himself. However, his blasphemous thought or lawless philosophy will one day show the fruit of his lawlessness. He may always preach law and grace, but it is actually lawlessness and unrepentant philosophy. He will preach law to hide his lawlessness. We know that the law that he preaches is not really law. Similarly the repentance that he preaches is not really repentance; it is just his 'metanoia', change of mind, or a hypocritical repentance before God.
3. he keeps preaching about the 'real' meaning of repentance. Have you thought why would a preacher keep preaching about the meaning of repentance? It is because he can never preach about repentance. It is because he can never repent. So he needs to change the meaning of repentance so that he will not feel condemned when he does not repent or when he blasphemes the law or the word of God. He could be still living in blasphemies and sins, while everyone thinks that he has repented or recovered from his weird 'mental' problem.
So, I am not worry about the blasphemous preacher who comes to you and says, "I am a Satanic preacher. I hate God and His laws, and I can give you the license to sin .. "; I only worry about the preacher who says that he is from God and he can give you the anointed wisdom which will open your eyes .. Very likely his wisdom is just another form of lawlessness which can deceive you into following him or admiring him. He may preach repentance, but it is not the repentance that Jesus preached. He may even convince many that there is no necessity to preach repentance because grace will lead to repentance. But we know that it is only his own interpretation from the Bible verses he quoted out of context. He is trying to convince us that Jesus was lying when He told the disciples or the Apostles to preach repentance. I will ask him, Did you tell your believers that there is no need to preach Jesus too because going to the church will automatically lead them to know Jesus, automatically believe in everything, automatically get baptized, automatically pray, and automatically do His words? No, if you need to keep preaching and telling the people to know and do the words of God every week, what's the problem if we keep preaching and telling the people to do the words of Jesus Christ and repent. Obviously it is a false doctrine to tell us not to preach repentance.

The blasphemous thought originated from the lawless thought in the garden
I will tell him, If your blasphemous thought is 'lawless thought' or sinful thought in the eyes of God, obviously your thinking of no more law can never be repentance. Do you know that to repent from your lawless thought or lawlessness, you must still go back to your obedience to God commandment in Gen 2:16 and obey God: ie. to repent from Adam's lawlessness or to repent like the prodigal son by returning to God's presence with His commandment. If you think that God's law or commandment has made you mad, you still need to repent from your lawless thought; or else, you still cannot be God's people:
Heb 8:10-12 LITV Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My Laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." .. (12) For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawless deeds."
Many try to argue that, under the law, God would never forgive (because He was angry); but under grace, God can always forgive. I will tell them, Please read the Bible. Did God say that ? No, God never said that He was angry under the law or that He was angry with those who were under the law. It is ridiculous to say that because, not only Moses and David were under the law, there were many who were under the law too: eg. Mary and Joseph, Samuel, Elijah, Jeremiah, Malachi, .. and many more. Will you say that God was angry with every Jew who was under the law? No, God never said He won't forgive them if they kept His laws; but, He did say that the law (of rituals to do many things in the temple) was only a shadow of what is to come, in which He will forgive everyone who will TRULY OBEY His laws and keep His commandments (please read Heb 8:10, 10:16 again):
Heb 8:5 KJV Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Heb 10:1 KJV For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
Today no one would believe in a shadow or the doing of rituals to receive grace or forgiveness of God, but we still do what Jesus preached. So, I still believe in repentance for the preachers. If a mad radical hyper grace preacher has truly repented from lawlessness and become sound in his mind, he should always preach sound doctrine. He has no excuse to continue to preach madness, lawlessness, radical fantasies, new age beliefs, effortless philosophies, lukewarm doctrine, sick jokes, and confusion:
2Ti 1:7-8 KJV For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (8) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God ..
2Ti 4:3-6 KJV For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (6) For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
Do you notice that the power of the gospel is not a physical power or tangible power that some preachers would promote or exaggerate? No, the power of the gospel is simply the power unto salvation and eternal life; not a power to get wealth effortlessly or get out of a prison without 'sweat'. Some would even try to explain the Bible verses above out of context by saying Paul could determine how long he could live, and so can we. I will tell them, Please read the whole Bible: no one can determine how long he will live; only God can. Obviously, when Paul said that he was about to die, he knew it from the decree of the Roman governors who imprisoned him (see 2Ti 1:8). It is ridiculous to think that Paul could decide when he should die.

Blasphemous or agnostic preachers would think that repentance or 1 John 1:9 is not for them
Many will ask me, "If you know that there are preachers who cannot repent because of blasphemous thought, suicidal tendency, or mental sickness, why do you still preach repentance and ask them to repent? You should know that they have problems with repentance. You should have more sympathy and let them preach more about grace or what they like."
I will ask them, If they could not repent because of their PAST mental records, do you mean they do not need to repent any more? Suppose you were the judge, will you tell the mockers of the law, criminals, rapists, or insane killers that they are all excused because they had mental problems too? Yes. Of course, you may sympathize with them and take into the consideration that their criminal offence could be caused by the mental problems of which they have no control over. However, having the past mental problems should never be used as an excuse for repeated criminal offences and future crimes. Similarly, the past mental sickness should never be used as an excuse by a preacher for his unrepentant preaching too. If a preacher could not repent because of his mental problem in the past, it does not mean that he will never need to repent and everyone does not need to repent too.
Hence, if a preacher always uses his past mental experience to tell everyone not to repent, I will tell him, If you still cannot repent now, please don't be a preacher. You may try to preach grace or some other things but you will still mislead everyone. You are like a gay telling everyone not to marry because you can't marry .. .. Oops, I forgot that gays can now 'marry', but they will 'marry' differently. That's why a preacher who thinks that he cannot repent will 'repent' differently too. He will preach repentance as something that he or everyone can do effortlessly or easily, eg. change of mind only, positive thinking, carnal philosophy, or something that is less stressful and demanding; but more popular. But we know that that repentance is not the repentance that Jesus preached. That repentance is a perverted interpretation of the doctrine of Christ. That repentance is only a form of mind philosophy ('metanoia' or purely a change of mind) that has no godly humility, no conviction of sins, no regret about sins, no confession of sins to God, no walking in His law, and no recompense for anyone they have sinned against. That is based on the lawless philosophy of the agnostic people or carnal preachers who will never confess their sins:
1Jn 1:5-10 KJV This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (6) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Contrary to what they preached, we believe that confession of sins can be done by everyone, but the agnostic believers or preachers might never want to do it. I will ask them, Do you notice all those words I've highlighted above? John showed clearly that we should not be the agnostic people or false believers. Obviously the agnostic people or false believer will never confess their sins because they are liars and they would preach as though God is a liar by changing His message, words, commandments, warning, or judgement.

There are preachers who preach a different repentance
Many argue that true repentance under the New Testament is just believe only. It is just a change of mind from unbelief or wrong believing to right believing. They argue that the repentance that Paul preached has no sin conscience because, unlike the repentance that Jesus preached, the repentance that Paul preached will never condemn you based on the following Bible verses:
Heb 10:1-5 KJV For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (2) For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. (3) But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. (4) For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (5) Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me ..
I will tell them, Please don't quote Heb 10:2 out of context. Please read it together will all the Bible verses in Hebrews chapter 10. Obviously Paul never meant that we have no more sin conscience for repentance. If we read it within the context, we should know that Paul told us that there was no more sin conscience for the offering of sin sacrifice based on the Jewish law because Jesus has fulfilled the law of sacrifice COMPLETELY. But Paul never said that Jesus fulfilled the law COMPLETELY so that repentance is just a change of mind without any thinking of our sins. Paul never said that a believer today can now sin without any sin conscience. So it would be wrong if we use Heb 10:2 to tell Jesus or His disciples that there is no more sin conscience to repent, and therefore, there is no more need to preach repentance. It would be a 'deeper' wrong if we go further by preaching a false repentance that has no sin conscience, no awareness of our sins, no consciousness of our sins, no conviction of our sins, no regret from our sins, or no turning from our sins. If we define repentance as a change of mind with no conscience of sin based on Heb 10:2, we fail miserably as God's preachers. Obviously the repentance that Jesus preached can never be a repentance that is just a change of mind only. Jesus did not preach repentance as 'metanoia' only or in Greek only? No, He might preach repentance in Hebrew or Aramic which would never mean 'changing your mind only' or 'doing something without any thinking of sins':
Mat 11:21 KJV Woe unto thee, .. for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Mat 9:12-13 KJV But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. (13) But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
So, if you are a sinner, you need to repent; if you are righteous, you may just believe only, but this is very unlikely. Obviously, Jesus did not only call the Jews or the Pharisees to repent, He call everyone to repent, even those who are now thinking that they are already righteous, that they are too righteous to repent, or that they are now the righteousness of God !
I will tell them, If you are really the righteousness of God now, of course, you do not need to repent. It would be an insult to God's righteousness if you repent. But, did Paul say that you are really the righteousness of God now?
2Co 5:20-21 KJV Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. (21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2Co 5:21 LITV For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Yes, Paul did say that we are now the ambassadors of Christ but he did not say that we are now the righteousness of God; he said, that we might be made the righteousness of God or become the righteousness of God. It means that we are instantly made the ambassadors of Christ; but not necessarily the real righteousness of God. According to Strong's or Thayer's dictionary, the words 'ginomai' or 'that might be made' is a process. It means 'to become', 'to come to pass', 'to continue', 'to be finished', 'to grow to', 'to be made into', 'to be brought to', .. and etc. These words means that the status of being the perfect righteousness of God is not now but when we are in heaven, and therefore, we can never insult God's righteousness if we still repent or confess our sins:
1Jn 3:2-3 KJV Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

There is a difference between a blasphemous preacher and a blasphemous sinner
There is a difference between a lawless preacher and a lawless sinner too. The sinners would blaspheme God or do lawless deeds; the preachers may not blaspheme God directly or do lawless deeds, but they will do it subtly by preaching lawlessness or lawless thoughts. They may even impress on the people that they are
1. the righteousness of God,
2. anointed,
3. unselfish, and
4. humble,
but they blaspheme God continuously in their teaching and thoughts by devising lawless philosophies or preaching against the doctrine of Christ. They love to promote themselves, but they keep saying that they are doing it for the Lord. They are selfish preachers who steal money from the sheep and think highly of themselves, but they keep pretending that they are generous and humble. Most blinded followers would think that they are righteous, anointed, generous, and humble, but we know that they look good only from the 'cover of their books', or from their gorgeous platform and 'uniform'. They are:
1. only good actors;
2. not God's preachers
They may be able to show lots of (lying) signs, wonders, and miracles but they cannot do and teach the law of God or the doctrine of Christ. They are self-seekers who know how to boast 'in the name of grace and God', but they are both blasphemous in thoughts and in spirit. They may think that they have 'metanoia' or repented, but they are still servants of lawlessness.

There are 'goat' believers
The sinners of the world cannot believe Jesus because they think that the words of Jesus are hard sayings. Ironically, there are believers who think that the teachings of Jesus are hard sayings too. The following Bible verses are the Lord's prophecies on three categories of believers who might believe Him, but they are judged severely. They are not the sinners of the world; but His churches, servants, or believers who think that they are saved:
1. The foolish virgins or churches: Mat 25:1-3 KJV Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. (2) And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. (3) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them ..
2. The wicked servant or preacher: Mat 25:24-26 KJV Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: (25) And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. (26) His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed ..
3. The cursed believers or Christians: Mat 25:44-46 KJV Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? (45) Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. (46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Many have no problem understanding about the judgement of the foolish virgins and the sloth servant as the right judgement from God; however, when it comes to the judgement of the believers who are goats, they cannot accept it. It becomes a hard saying to them. Naturally, those believers who cannot accept the hard saying would not only reject the judgement of the sheep and the goats; they would reject the whole chapter of Mat 25 too. They would try to explain that all the teaching of Jesus before He was crucified were applicable only to those who were under the law too. However, they can never convince me. It is because I know that Mat 25 is a chapter of prophecies. It is a chapter on the prophecies about end time when Jesus will come and judge; not about a certain historical time when Israel was judged.
Many will ask, "If you preach that the believers will be judged severely by the Lord when He comes again, how do you justify the Lord's assurance or doctrine of 'once-saved-always-saved'?" I will say to them, Of course, I won't justify any doctrine that Jesus had never preached. If He always gave warnings, commandments, and teachings to the disciples or believers that He will come again to judge with fire, it is ridiculous to interpret that His doctrine has no judgement, commandment, or law. Just think, If He has no law or commandment, how can He be the judge?
So, is Jesus a very harsh judge, or is He a sadist who likes to make all the disciples or believers to be stressed up? No, absolutely not; but it is necessary. Many argue, "If He is not a sadist, why would He need to judge us so harshly because we did not do good?" I will tell them, No, the question is not whether we do good or do bad; the question is whether we are the sheep or the goats: if we are the sheep, we would listen to the 'voice' of the Lord and do good; but if we are the goats, we would listen to the false prophets and think that their teachings are good. We would be deceived by them to think that the Lord's teaching is 'do good get good' religious teaching or law teaching which is obsolete:
Joh 10:4-27 KJV And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. (5) And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers .. (26) But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Jesus said clearly that only the sheep will hear His voice or teaching, and only the sheep have eternal life. So does it mean that we are once-saved-always-saved? Yes, we may think that we are always saved because Jesus is all-powerful to protect us; but He never told us to think that we are once-saved-always-saved or listen to anyone who preaches anything to us. He told us to listen not only with our physical ears; but with our 'spiritual ears' too:
Mat 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mat 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mar 4:9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Mar 4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
Mar 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
Luk 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Luk 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The difference between the teaching of the false prophets and the teaching of the Lord is that:
1. the false prophets will teach only things which tickle your ears; but their doctrine can never cover your nakedness;
2. but Jesus preached the thing which speaks to our inner being, He will write the law and teaching of God in our hearts, and the thing which he teaches will become our wedding garment for our rapture in the future too.

Jesus has grace and compassion because He wept but ..
Many argue that there is no more law, principle, or commandment because they believe and there is no more an angry God who judges. However, if we listen to what Jesus said, we know that His doctrine is actually the law, principle, commandment, and judgement for all the believers who have believed in Him. There is still the law of sowing and reaping in most of His parables, principles, and sermons too:
Mat 13:18-23 KJV Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower .. (23) But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mat 7:15-20 KJV Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (16) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them ..
So it is understood why most false prophets in the end time would preach lawlessness or the doctrine that has no more law or no doing good ! So, again the question is not whether the believers should do good or not to get saved; the question is whether the believers know who preach the word (or doctrine of Christ), and who preach the doctrine of tares. Many may call Jesus Lord and preach in His name, but we know that they are the corrupt trees that bringeth forth evil fruit. They will not be judged at the great white throne with the sinners; they will be judged (separated from the believers) at the bayma seat of Jesus Christ:
Mat 7:21-24 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (24) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock ..
Rev 3:16-19 KJV So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: (18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. (19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Do you notice that the nakedness of the believers in Rev 3:18 is similar to the nakedness of Adam and Eve in the garden? It is a nakedness which can happen again in a believer. It is a second nakedness after they have been cleansed and clothed with the righteousness of Christ. It is a nakedness that will cause them to lose the wedding garment or the righteousness of Christ when they listen to the false prophets or serpent again. It is serious enough to bring death and corruption to a believer again.
Many argue that they have the garment or doctrine of Christ because they still preach the words of God. I will tell them, No, you don't. Do you know that the words 'Jesus wept' in the Bible are the words of God too, but does it mean that the serpent or any preacher who preaches those words are God's preachers who has the doctrine of Christ? No, God's preachers do not preach or quote a few words from the Bible and say that they have the doctrine; they must preach the laws, principles, and doctrine of God too. So, if a believer says that he believes only in grace because grace is Jesus, grace is not a doctrine, or grace is the ultimate truth, I will tell him, Yes, I agree that grace is not a doctrine, but grace cannot do without any doctrine. Grace cannot teach without doctrine or without the law of God. Grace without the law and doctrine of God is not Jesus Christ. Why? There are two reasons:
1. If Jesus is grace, He is grace Himself who still teaches us to keep God's commandments, with His parables, doctrine, or sermons. So it is ridiculous to say that His Sermon on the Mount is obsolete because it teaches self-effort, laws, or 'do good get good' religious rules. It is hypocritical just to teach Mat 6:33-34 (not to worry about tomorrow) while omitting or ignoring the more important truth and doctrine of Jesus Christ in the whole chapters of Matt 5, 6, and 7. Many hyper grace preachers could preach beautifully about the law or principle in the book of Proverbs and Psalms, but ironically, they tell us that they would not preach the doctrine or parables of Jesus in the gospel of Matthew, Luke, or John. They argue that the commandment or teaching of Jesus was for the Jews or those who were under the law ! They claim that the teaching of the Ten Commandments, God's moral law, or the doctrine of Christ is the teaching of the law churches, 'do good get good' churches, or the Pharisee's churches; but ironically they teach that the laws or principles in the Proverbs, Psalms, or Old Testament are their wisdom that can give you more favor and riches:
Mat 23:23 KJV Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
2. If grace is not a doctrine, grace needs doctrine to teach. I think the words of God are self-explanatory: Tit 2:1-15 KJV But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: .. (4) That they may teach .. (10) Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. (11) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world .. (15) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
I will tell them, Yes, "Jesus Wept" is the word of God because it is in the Bible (Joh 11:35), but anyone can preach it. For example, anyone can preach it radically and build a lopsided doctrine by saying, "Jesus wept because He is love. He loves us so much that He would weep for us. He had so much emotion of love for Lazarus that He cried. It means that His love for us exceeds His demand for us to obey any law .. .." Of course, you can keep talking about this until there is no more law or judgement .. ..; but please think, can it be really a doctrine? No, if Jesus can get so emotional that He wept, what makes you think that He cannot get angry? If Jesus wept with the emotion of sadness, He can surely rebuke or judge with the emotion of wrath. If Jesus has grace and compassion because He wept, He can surely show wrath when He got angry too.
So it is ridiculous just to preach a Jesus that can only smile or weep based on just one Bible verse while ignoring all His warnings, commandments, doctrine, judgements, or parables which show His wrath.

There are believers who do not have the wedding garment
Many ask, What is the wedding garment in Mat 22:11-12? Is it something for the sinners? I will tell them, No, it is something for the believers; not sinners. It is something that we ought to adorn after we are completely cleansed or after all our 'dirty clothing' are removed. The Bible showed clearly that every believer ought to have the wedding garment in the marriage super. It should be a norm for all the believers to have the new garment, but it would be a shame (nakedness) to be spotted without it. So it should be a serious warning.
Mat 22:11-12 KJV And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: (12) And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Do you know why we can say that the doctrine of Christ is like a garment to us? It is because His doctrine is something which we can adorn:
Tit 2:1-10 KJV But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: .. (10) Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
In the garden, Adam adorned the commandment of God; today we still adorn the doctrine of God, without which we will become naked again.
The wedding garment above is not for the sinners; but believers, because the sinners do not know Jesus or know His doctrine. The sinners can never have the wedding garment; yet there are believers who have no wedding garment. It means that they could have given up their garment after listening to the false prophets. They are almost saved; yet they are not saved. They do not believe the words of Jesus; but allow the false prophets to twist the words to deceive themselves. If they argue that they are always saved because they are the believers, or because they are destined to reign or they believe in 'predestination', I will tell them, Yes, of course, God knows your destiny and my destiny, but no one else knows our destinies, not even ourselves. However, we will surely know our destinies when we have the garment or when we meet the Lord. If we do not have the garment, it is obvious that we are not the true believers. There is no need to argue about it. No amount of assurance or argument can save us. They will still argue, "If there is no assurance that we are saved, how can we believe? No one will believe in a Christianity that makes us always stressed and worrying if we are saved or not. That's not the spirit of Christianity." I will tell them, If you want a religion that will always give you peace of mind, you can go for other religions. There are many religions which give you peace of mind or 'total peace', but Christianity is certainly not a kind of religions that gives you 'total peace' or 'absolute peace'. Christianity is about the words and teaching of Jesus Christ. But, if you do not preach or follow the doctrine of Christ, please don't talk about the spirit of Christianity. You know nothing about the spirit of Christianity or the Spirit of Christ.
Many argue that they preach the garment or doctrine of Christ, but I will tell them, No, you have never preached the doctrine of Christ. You may argue that that the doctrine of Christ is something that prospers you, blesses you, or speaks to you, but you do not really understand His parables, hard sayings, warnings, commandments, or judgement. There are three chapters of Matthew about the Lord's Sermon on the Mount, but you can only preach three verses (Mat 6:32-34) on all about a care-free life, let-go life, or effortless life?
Although Jesus did tell the Jews, believers, or disciples not to worry about tomorrow (about their clothings or riches in the world) in Mat 6:32-34, He does not want us (especially the believers or the preachers) to be ignorant based on only those three Bible verses. He wants us to watch and beware .. He want us to watch not only for the end time signs and wonders; He wants us to watch and beware of the FALSE PROPHETS! Why? It is because the false prophets are the most likely people who can 'turn' the believers into a 'goat' ! When the believers believe in the doctrine of the false prophets or their super-abundant favour which prospers them 'effortlessly' without doing any good, they will reject the doctrine of Christ and become a goat who does not believe in doing anything for the Lord. They would do everything on their own. They become the fallen branches. They are on sinking sand (Mat 7:26) as they are no longer the doers of God's will (Mat 7:21), .. although they may keep confessing that He is Lord (Mat 7:21) or that they are the righteousness of God.

Jesus Christ is both the sender of the Holy Spirit and fire
Mat 3:10-12 KJV And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: (12) Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Many hyper grace preachers will only quote and preach Mat 3:11, and tell you that Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire; but deliberately omit the Bible verses that speak about the Lord's judgement. However, do you notice that the fire above is a metaphor for judgement? It is a judgement for the believers. For the true believers, it is a refining fire; but for the false believers, it is a judgement fire. When He comes again, He will not be a sacrifice, being soft and gentle, full of grace; but He will bring separation, being strong and mighty, full of wrath. Of course, under the law, God is gracious; but under grace, He is still gracious. However, under grace, there is still separation or judgement before the 'bayma 'seat of Christ. Many preach that the judgement seat of Christ is a 'reward' judgement from the Greek word "bayma" seat of Christ which has no wrath. I will tell them, You may use the Greek word to change the meaning of judgement or the meaning of repentance, but Greek word is never the accurate translation for the whole Bible. Do you know that there are two judgements for the world:
1. the judgement before the 'bayma' seat of Christ,
2. and the judgement before the great white throne ?
The first judgement immediately after the rapture is clearly written in the Bible for the believers. So, obviously there will be two types of believers: 1. the believers who listen to every word that He preached, and 2. the believers who pick the promises or easy sayings that the lawless preach. The first type of believers will beware because they believe all the words of Jesus Christ; however, the second type of believers are in living constant fear because they cannot hear or believe every word that He preached. So they have to keep on hearing and hearing all the 'no condemnation' messages, false interpretation, and lies from the lawless ones. I believe that the second type of believers will not be judged at the great white throne judgement. They will be judged at the judgement seat of Christ. So the believers who will be judged at the great white throne are not those believers who are left behind; they could be the remnant believers who will believe and got converted during the tribulation, after ALL the churches, preachers, servants, and believers are taken up and judged before the bayma seat of Christ.
Many will argue, "How do you know that the believers who do nothing are the cursed believers? Paul said that only those who are under the law are cursed." I will tell them, Please read your Bible again. Only the Jews who refused to accept Jesus Christ were cursed under the law of rituals and ceremonies or under the works of the law because they could not see the Saviour behind the very law that they practised. But today no one can be cursed under the law; unless they still practise the law and do like the Jews. Similarly, in the end time, no one can be cursed by the law of God; unless we listen to the false prophets:
Mat 25:31-41 KJV When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats .. (41) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels ..
Do you notice the seriousness of this judgement? Can this warning be obsolete? No. Obviously this is a prophecy; not a historical event, of those who will be sent to eternal judgement. Jesus did not say this just to create an interesting topic for Bible study or discussion; He preached this as a serious warning to us. This judgement is not same as the Great White Throne judgement in Rev 20:11 where the 'big and small' sinners of the world will stand before God. This judgement is a judgement of all the believers immediately after the rapture or separation:
Mat 3:10-12 KJV And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: (12) Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
According to John, Jesus does not only have refining fire to sanctify us; He has the judgement fire to remove the false believers too.
Mat 13:41-42 KJV The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; (42) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Rev 14:14-20 KJV And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. (15) And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (16) And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. (17) And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. (18) And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. (19) And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. (20) And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
Do you notice that the Son of man was mentioned in both Mat 13:41 and Rev 14:14 above? Immediately after the earth was reaped or after the 'reaping of the believers' by Him, there will be a second 'reaping of the believers' by the angel but this time it is for the 'believers' who are false believers or false prophets .. .. and then followed by the Great White Throne judgement for the sinners of the world and the people of all religions:
Rev 20:11-12 KJV And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God ..

The lawless preachers will preach God's commandment only to nullify it
Many modern preachers are haters of God commandments but they keep saying that they have kept God's commandments because they are the righteousness of God. They argue that they always preach about God's commandments from the Old Testament or Proverbs. They could even preach or sing about the law or commandments in Psalms; however, they do not do it to honour God's words. They do it with a different agenda:
Psa 1:1-2 KJV Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (2) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 34:11-16 KJV Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. (12) What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? (13) Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. (14) Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. (15) The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. (16) The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Do you notice that the law of the Lord that teaches us is the fear of the Lord also? However, ironically most hyper grace preachers think that the law of God or the fear of God has been removed from the New Testament because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. They may still preach the commandments of Jesus Christ, but they have a totally different interpretation of the Lord's commandments. I can't remember whether they have ever quoted or preached any Bible verses from the New Testament about the Lord's commandments, but I do know that they will always preach something else which will nullify or made His commandments of none effect:
Mat 15:5-6 KJV But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; (6) And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Mar 7:11-13 KJV But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. (12) And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; (13) Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Today the preachers may preach about God's words or God's commandments to convince you that they are still keeping God's commandments, but secretly they may put something like a 'smiley face' at the end of whatever they preached to nullify it. Please think, If God were to command you not to kill, will He put a 'smiley face' at the end of it to tell you that He is very 'friendly' to you? No, it will change the tone of the commandment or the commandment itself. So, although I may not be able to explain how the lawless preachers will preach God's commandments today, but I know that they will change the tone of the commandments so that it is no longer a God's commandment. They may argue that they always preach about God's commandments from the Old Testament or Proverbs. They may even sing about the law or commandments in Psalms; however, we know that they do not honour God's commandments.
So we are not surprised to know that a preacher who can preach the grace of God may choose to preach it differently too, for example:
1. "Grace is not a license to sin !" - it could mean a defensive tone for the lawless people who do not honour or keep God's commandments. Its purpose is just to take advantage of grace and tell God or God's people that they are ignorant about grace and that they are the accusers of 'Grace' because they always falsely accuse grace as a license to sin. In another words, the tone and motive behind it is to say that God's people are always law-based, legalistic, and condemning.
2. "Grace is not a license to sin !" - the second interpretation of it has the tone and original meaning from the words of Paul which can be understood easily if you will just read it yourselves:
Rom 6:1-16 KJV What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? .. .. (15) What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. (16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Do you notice a clear God's 'double confirmation' here? Please think, What is the 'double confirmation' ? Of course, obviously "grace is not a license to sin !" - It is simply a clear and serious tone to all the believers or servants who have received grace! It is a serious tone to all the people, especially the lawless believers or preachers; but it can never be an accusation of all the preachers who still do and teach the law of God. So now you decide whether you want to hear the lawless interpretation of Grace from the hyper grace preachers, or the interpretation from God's preachers.
Jud 1:4 KJV For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am not surprised that the hyper grace preachers would turn the meaning of the Bible verses above into something else with their interpretation or defensive tone above too. Before we find out what they would say, can you hear the original or serious tone from Jude's words (just like what you hear from Paul's warning in Rom 6:1-16)? Who were the ungodly men who would turn the grace of God into something else? They were not the sinners of the world; but lawless believers or preachers who had received grace and crept into the churches. They might not show their lawless deeds all of a sudden, but they could always start slowly and subtly from their lawless thoughts or lawless doctrine. So I don't see any reason to believe that Jude's warning was about the law preachers who preached too much God's law and turned the grace of God into lasciviousness. On the other hand, I believe that they were the lawless preachers who argued that 'grace is not a license to sin !' but secretly and subtly treated grace as a license to sin or lawlessness. That's why Paul's serious warning and tone in Rom 6:1-16 to them is still applicable to us today. I am not surprised that those lawless preachers who crept into our churches would keep confessing that they are 'the righteousness of God' too. They have to keep confessing it or preaching it so that the believers will be deceived to think that they are the true believers when they know in their hearts that they have no wedding garment and that the believers have to keep on hearing them so that they will not live in fear.
Today many could have believed:
1. like the disciples who had seen Jesus' miracles and eaten His bread,
2. like Nicodemus who knew that Jesus was sent by God,
3. like the young ruler who perceived that Jesus had the power to give eternal life, and even
4. like the arrogant servant who'd got all his debts forgiven (Mat 18:32),
but sadly, they could never really follow what Jesus said when they began to walk closer with Him. They could only believe what they saw (about Jesus' miracles, power, authority, blessings, prosperity, peace, forgiveness .. etc), but when Jesus started to tell them about the teaching which is beyond food and drinks, beyond natural death and birth, beyond keeping the riches of this world, and beyond just finding grace and forgiveness of our sins, many could not accept His doctrine. They think that it is a hard saying or negative preaching. Many will depart. There are some who still keep confessing and following Him but they will change His words or teaching and accuse others who still keep the doctrine of Christ as the preachers under the law or of the law. The Bible never said that Nicodemus, the young ruler, or the believers who believed for a while are true believers. So, in the end time, many will believe only for a while and think that they are the believers even though they have rejected the hard sayings, commandments, and doctrine of Christ:
Luk 8:11-14 KJV Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. (12) Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. (13) They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. (14) And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection
